Error codes appeared and were provided to Peter who responded timely. Over time Grant and Peter both came to our home and attempted to repair the oven. Both were cordial, on time, and left the place clean but neither seemed to have the knowledge or capacity to complete the job. First visit: Grant spent a considerable amount of time researching the error codes and how to proceed using his electronic device (phone or tablet). He replaced a small part and the oven worked a few times then the problem reoccurred. We requested a more experienced tech come out and the owner (I believe) Peter came out. During that second visit Peter suggested rebuilding the motherboard. After months of waiting we received a text that the motherboard had come in. Peter reinstalled the motherboard on the third visit. During our Thanksgiving meal preparation on Thanksgiving Day the problem reoccurred. We called and sent a text in desperation - advising our ham was in the oven. We didn't hear back. We received a text message on 12/1/25, stating they were closed for the holidays, and asking if we were able to get our oven fixed? During the fourth visit Peter didn't know what else to do, and offered to install a new oven or refund the amount of the service call. He sent a quote for over $2100 for a new (low end) Whirlpool wall oven (our current oven is a slide in) which included installation and haul away of the existing oven. I had done some research and determined that that price was greatly inflated so on 12/12/25 we accepted the offer for a refund for the service call of $477. We finally received the refund via Zelle on 1/14/26, after numerous follow up attempts in writing and by phone. Based on this experience it doesn't appear their skill levels go beyond maybe simple repairs or installations. Both Grant and Peter admitted that a lot of the work they do is for home warranty companies. The integrity however is a bit bothersome - the delayed refund, lack of communication pertaining to its status, a lie from the office staff stating an email was sent on 1/5/26 asking if we had Zelle, accepting a job they weren't equipped to complete, and not having on-call response for emergencies. Sorry I can't recommend at this time.

That first technician showed up with zero interest in doing the job, offered no real help, and clearly didn't want to be working. Frustrated, I decided to call Tom's Appliance Repair instead, and the difference was night and day. Tom, the owner himself, showed up to handle the job. His customer service was absolutely outstanding. He was incredibly knowledgeable, diagnosed the problem quickly, and took the time to explain everything clearly. The technician let me know that due to its age my refrigerator has went past its life expectancy and that it's not worth spending over $1,000 for a repair on such an old refrigerator. We bought them in November of 2025. Luis came out and installed the washer and dryer and took the old washer and dryer. We had a 2 month warranty. Everything was doing well until we moved out of the townhouse. The movers removed the washer and dryer from where it was located and the mess all on the wall and floor area was awful! The lint wasn't blowing outside through the trap but building up on the walls, hose that led outside and the floor. I took pictures of the area because I knew the property management will be charging me to clean up the area. I called Ferrer's Appliances and spoke to Luis and explained the situation. He told me there was nothing they could do and they were not going to pay for the charge I received based on their installation. I've attached a picture of the area! ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE: NEVER TRUST GEEK SQUAD WITH IPHONE REPAIRS…read more Even though they are an authorized Apple service provider, dealing with the Geek Squad at this Vacaville location for an iPhone warranty repair has been an incredibly frustrating, incompetent mess from start to finish. I dropped my phone off on 8/16. I had already completed all advanced troubleshooting myself (restore and DFU mode) to fix a boot loop unsuccessfully. The Geek Squad agent, Abraham, couldn't get it to work either, so he determined the device needed to be shipped to an Apple service center. He did warn me that the turnaround would be 3-5 business days and that all my data would be wiped. If I could do it all over again, I would have walked out right then and gone straight to an official Apple Store. Why? For starters, Geek Squad does absolutely nothing except act as a useless middleman to ship your phone away. Unlike an actual Apple Store, Best Buy doesn't provide a loaner device, which left me digitally stranded without a phone for a full 10 days. Had I known they were just going to mail it out and let it drag on, I would have handled the shipping to the service center myself to avoid this massive delay and inconvenience. Instead of the promised 3-5 business days, the process took a full 10 days. According to official carrier tracking, the repaired phone was physically delivered back to the store and signed for by a Best Buy employee named Roman on 8/24 at 10:29 AM. Yet, when I went to the store two days later, they claimed they didn't have it. They tried to give me the runaround, making up nonsense excuses about needing to call Apple and have them provide a "new serial number". After I spent hours trying to call the store (Best Buy does not route any of the calls to the actual store), and escalated the issue to Apple Support to demand accountability, the store finally called me back with an excuse claiming the phone was "misdelivered to the PetSmart next door." Absolute BS. A courier doesn't drop off a secure, signature-required Apple service shipment at a pet store. They clearly just misplaced it in their own house and lied to cover up their internal tracking mess. To top it off, Apple swapped out the logic board, so my data is completely gone. At least that is one thing I can't blame the store for, but definetly some poopy icing on an already decaying cake. Geek Squad's internal logistics are a total joke, their communication is nonexistent, and their customer service is built entirely on excuses. Save yourself the massive headache and go straight to an actual Apple Store or handle the mail-in process yourself directly. Best Buy repairs plain suck, and I am staying away from Geek Squad for good.
