But, the owner Lindsay, instantly put me at ease. Not once did I feel out of place or embarrassed. Lindsay offered modifications without making you feel less than the others. It is because of the great experience I have had here that I will continue to come back. If your a fata$$, like I used to be & nothing motivates dat a$$.... THIS might be your life saver, LITERALLY. Because being fat will kill you!! The Coaches- not pushy, patient, funny, dorky, sometimes you want to punch them in the face but their so fn innocent looking you want to hug them at the same time- so, Ok what everrrrrrr, I'll do 5 more burpees The Community- mostly made up of mom's & dad's with a few hipsters thrown in for a good measure & laughs. Very supportive, non- competitive, super friendly..... it's kind of creepy, why is everyone so cool?! Did someone tell them I'm secretly in the CIA or something? The Gym- Its on the smaller side but there's never been a problem with space or the ability to do any movements. Even when there's a large group of ppl the coaches always make it work. The Location- right of exit 54 of 95 in Georgetown, even from a couple cities away, it's very easy and quick to get to! It's also a dead end street in the woods, so when running is involved, no one has to see your sweaty butt dying on the sidewalk other then the other crossfitters doing the same thing. I'm in the best shape of my life now, finally, now that I'm in my freaking 40's because of this place.... wish I looked this good when I was in my 20's!!!!

Sad to report that the manager of the pool seems to have a power issue and enjoys exerting herself…read moreand excreting her power over the senior aquatic class. ( the class itself and the instructors are incredible.) The manager orders her life guards about often before the end class and disrupts the aquatic class by closing down the lanes and often double books lanes time with various other water activity. So shocked when she closed lanes and squished a class of 30 to prioritizing one child's private lessons to s full class of 25 plus seniors. Mean while the open lanes remained open. is this a power control issue? Not sure Bizzare as when I show up a mere few hours later and no one is in the pool. Power and poor time management. :-( Been to the other ymca sites and never see this bizarre behaviors and treatment
