I picked out the pieces and found an orange apron, asking him to cut them as I needed. For the first time, he said that he couldn't cut it long ways. Odd, but okay. So I pivoted and found a piece that would work. The store is tidily laid out and has just about everything you could possibly need for your home improvement project from lights to tiles to power tools. There is a ton of lumber (check it carefully - it is sometimes stored outside and gets rained on), hardware, kitchen appliances and toilets. If you have the skills, they have the stuff you can turn loose on your house. Or for me, van. If you can do your shopping at a more local hardware store like Blackhawk Hardware, please do. But today I'm in Steele Creek and this was convenient or I would have gone there. The new lumber I needed ended up working out well, possibly even better than what I had originally planned. We visited your Rivergate store and asked when could we have a new one delivered. We were told it would take 4 days!! We didn't look at any refrigerators and immediately left the store. We went up the street to Lowe's Home Improvement. They advertised next day delivery!! We happily purchased our refrigerator from them and it was delivered less than 24 hours after we purchased it. Food didn't go bad and we are happy customers. Seems like to me, Home Depot needs to hire more Process Improvement Engineers!! Hey, I might know of an excellent engineer!

The lady at the UPS store apologized. I called around to Office Depot & U-Haul and went to two other stores before I found exactly what I needed at Lowes, PLUS they offer a 10% Vet discount. Lowes, yes it's a big box store but somebody needs to give Home Depot some completion to keep prices in check, plus they are a huge employer in the state of NC creating jobs and stimulating the economy.

First off, parking was easy, and the store was super clean and well organized. I entered through the garden center and immediately found a great selection of pots--both ceramic and the lighter-weight composite materials. I ended up finding an excellent deal on a self-watering pot that had everything I needed, including the right diameter and depth for my plant. It was exactly what I was looking for, and the price was even better than expected. Bonus moment: while browsing, I spotted a gorgeous starter plant of pansies and decided to give them a try. When I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area, we could never grow pansies successfully because we didn't get a hard frost--so I'm excited to see how they do here. The price was right, and it felt like a fun little gardening experiment. Another win was using the Lowe's mobile app before heading to the store. I searched for the pots, plants, and even a bleach drop-in toilet cleaner I needed. After Amazon delayed my order for more than three weeks, I canceled it and checked locally--and Lowe's had the product in stock at a great price. I wanted to get a cooking pan (cuz I thought I was at Walmart) a clerk looked the aisle up but I couldn't even find that aisle. I needed brake fluid and I only found other automotive fluids. I basically left and gps to Walmart. This store is giant and seemed to have a LOT of nice items. It had another name brand dept and a ton of holiday Memorial Day stuff. They also offered me a free grilled hot dog and bottled water on the way in! A nice guy was out there grilling!!!!! Go on Saturday :)

We planned a 3 week RV trip with our kids and dog. As we left Florida our Onan 50Amp generator…read morestarted to cut off after about an hour of running. As we headed into Charlotte NC I got referred to CareCo Generator service and I called. I spoke to Phil the owner and he asked some questions about maintenance, hours and age of the unit etc... After then told me he could fit me in the next day in the morning and diagnose the problem. When he arrived he showed me how to pull codes from my unit (that my local Florida service center didn't ever offer when I was having the same type problem last year) They just sold me new spark plugs and said "Try this". Phil pulled the code and found it was most probably the fuel pump locking up because it was over heating. He replaced it and we have not had any problem from NC to FL in 98 degree weather. CareCo / Phil knows their business, are honest and provided me quality service. THANK YOU!!!! I will refer you to anybody anytime.....

They display a scene of a heron on the water with ducks landing above it and are beautiful. We have lived in the house for eight years and loved both the door and the windows. The new owners don't want the windows and we are now having Looking Glass remove and crate them so that we can take them with us. The Looking Glass is friendly, attentive to your custom desires and does outstanding work.
