After talking through my needs, they helped me realize that I probably didn't need the more expensive Milwaukee model and that a Bosch laser level would be a better fit. They also pointed out that Home Depot was running a special sale with a better price. I really appreciate that kind of open and honest customer service. Instead of trying to sell me the most expensive option, they helped me find the product that best fit my needs. That kind of integrity makes me an even more loyal customer.

We got assistance and guidance from Virginia in the gallery, she wasn't at all judgemental when I was originally looking for the cheapest. Their cheapest are still pretty good quality. There was no upsell, and she was able to show the clusters of price ranges in their very large showroom so we could avoid the oh my gosh level of pricing. Currently, the best deal by far for all brass is Astor Marris but prices are fluctuating dramatically differently by brand. Their lowest price kitchen and bathroom pulls are not cheaply made products, they start at good, lots of intermediate better, and a startling selection for those for whom money is no object. We also got some work gloves and a smoke detector for good prices (better than Amazon).

My in-store experiences have generally been excellent. What I'm reviewing here, however, is a recent online order. I ordered a couple of closet cabinets for home delivery. Fortunately, I was home when they arrived and had a chance to inspect the boxes before accepting them. I couldn't believe they had been loaded onto the truck in that condition. The boxes were badly damaged and appeared to have either been mishandled or previously returned. I mentioned it to the delivery driver, who I don't believe was a Home Depot employee. Unfortunately, there wasn't much he could do beyond shrugging his shoulders. After opening the boxes, I found that the cabinets were usable. Since I planned to modify them anyway, I was able to cut away the damaged portions without affecting my project. In the end, I decided to keep them. Still, customers should be able to expect that items purchased as new arrive in new condition. Shipping damaged merchandise, especially when the damage is obvious before it ever leaves the warehouse, isn't the level of quality I'd expect from Home Depot. I hope this is the exception rather than the rule, because my overall experiences with Home Depot have been very positive.

A guarantee that I would get it the same day by 8pm. Never came so called (the order was suppose to be delivered by stupid Uber/Door Dash), then the store said ok by next morning from 630 till 10am...never came. So called again...guess the order was processed to the store but the dumb uber/door dash never picked it up. So went to the falls location then and canceled the order ($250 order canceled). Even said maybe use a service instead of Uber/ door dash cause if not wanting to work the order will never be picked up. Store had nothing to say!!!!!

Though these were not available, staff went online to find what I needed, called the supplier, then suggested I go to the supplier showroom to check them out. Competent, friendly service with excellent hardware options.

On our quest to find new switch plates and hardware for the kitchen, we stopped at this Neu's…read morelocation (there are two). It was "ok". There's a lot of selection here - a lot! The issue is that the space is small which makes it difficult to see everything as its all crammed in, floor to ceiling. The switch plates we had come to see were hung about 6' above the floor making it hard to see details. Honestly, it was just overwhelming and we soon gave up. Staff at this location was really helpful - we were greeted immediately and asked if they could help us find something. I appreciate that. Also, this gallery is connected to the main hardware store so you can get several errands done at once.
