Had a very very very bad experience....ordered a electric trimmer at the falls location. Wasnt in shock there; so they where going to ship it to me from the Northshore location. A guarantee that I would get it the same day by 8pm. Never came so called (the order was suppose to be delivered by stupid Uber/Door Dash), then the store said ok by next morning from 630 till 10am...never came. So called again...guess the order was processed to the store but the dumb uber/door dash never picked it up. So went to the falls location then and canceled the order ($250 order canceled). Even said maybe use a service instead of Uber/ door dash cause if not wanting to work the order will never be picked up. Store had nothing to say!!!!! read more

Ralph was great! We were in the paint section and looking for a color we found online. He asked if we needed help which is always great! He was very knowledgeable about what we were looking for! This is a tougher store to rate because the young lady that works the paint desk was awesome. She knew what to do at what temperature, at what humidity, where the sun location was, if there was lightning :-) Very knowledgeable and helped my wife with her painting project. But my friend is having an issue with the young lady that works the front desk. She wants an ID when returning an item, or gives bad gift card info, so I have to average this out to a 3 or 4 overall at home depot. I gave them 4 because their bathrooms are clean read more

Calling the tool rental desk is an exercise in futility. So far I've been bounced back to the "receptionist" three times - the initial call and two send-backs. The rest of the time I'm on hold for two minutes at a time. Someone picks the call and puts me right back on hold. After the third ring on the third hold, they hung up. My boss said he was on hold for 90 minutes last week. Forget the phone. Go to the store. They apparently have no one there who knows how phones work at the tool rental desk. read more

I wish I could give a zero. Do not ever buy appliances from this store. You will regret it. We bought a washer and dryer which was to be delivered in 5 days. We were supposed to get a call the night before for a delivery window. It never came. We called Home Depot early the day of the delivery and they said they were not responsible for delivery. They said that they would leave a message for the delivery service they contracted with to call us. The delivery team never did. At 10:01 AM we got a text that our appliances would be delivered between 10:03 and 1:30. I was in the hospital with my husband who was undergoing a medical procedure. We asked my son to run up to be there for the delivery. At 10:16 we received a text that the delivery team had arrived at 10:02 and left at 10:17. When I called the delivery company, the delivery team had said they waited for 45 minutes. Impossible. We returned home from the hospital at 10:25, so there was no way they waited for more than 20 minutes. I called Home Depot back and they said there was nothing they could do, that I should be happy because I got a good deal, and I had only waited 5 days for delivery, which I guess he thought was not long enough?. I called the delivery team and they said we would need to wait another week for delivery. Long story short, we cancelled the order, went to Grand Appliances in Germantown, paid $35 less for the exact same appliances, which were delivered free of charge two days later. Save yourself some trouble and go straight there. read more

I've had only good experiences at this location. This is a very clean & well organized store with low traffic due to its tucked away placement. I'm always greeted by multiple employees throughout my visit, each offering their assistance. Seems there are more employees than customers during weekday visits. They always have just what I need. Although, not always the best price around. But, quality is never an issue. So when I find myself in need of a toilet plunger & blow torch, I take a trip out to Menomonee Falls to roam the isles. I will definitely be returning to this location for future home improvement needs! read more

Twice. Let me repeat my self.....TWICE I was COMPLETELY ignored by employees. The first time I was looking very lost and figured after she made eye contact she'd ask if I needed help. NOPE! WRONG-O! She just looked at me then at her phone then walked off. Ok, cool. If I wanted help I should've asked, maybe she didn't know, I'll let it go... So then I go to self check-out and scan my items and then inform the self-check attendant (young black female with tattoos on her right hand) that I am a military veteran and show her my ID. She doesn't even look at me or say a word. Types on the screen then walks off behind me. I'm not normally one to be this pissed off but my god. Does anyone care anymore? Is customer service even a thing? Please. PLEASE Home Depot contact me. I'd love to tell you more about my opinions on what a good employee is supposed to be. read more

If my old washer wasn't TAKEN when it was NOT supposed to & URINATED IN!! I wouldn't be in this situation. I wouldn't have any damaged flooring, damaged HVAC & I'd still have a washer for FREE. I'm beyond upset with HomeDepot & LG. I'm also going to have to pay to go to the laundromat now$$$.On 8/20/21 I received the first LG Top Load Washer. I'm only 5'1" & it was difficult for me to reach inside the washer I currently had. Since the washer I already had was in perfect working order I didnt pay $25 for old appliance haul away as I intended to sell it. On delivery day I inspected it in my garage before it came inside & it looked great. The men only had to bring it up two steps into my laundry/mud room. He installs it with my old hoses (even though I purchased new ones), puts it on a cycle, says I didn't need the hoses & I can use it when this cycle is done. He has me sign & leaves before the cycle ends. A little while later I hear loud sounds from the washer. I walk back to inspect it & also notice a deep scratch on the front that was not there initially. After the cycle is over I attempt to start my own load. First the play/pause button wouldnt work (have video of all of this). Eventually it works & my clothes begin to wash. Everything is fine until the same loud sounds start. While this is happening I realize my old washer has been taken. I immediately call for service & the lady on the phone instantly called the delivery service to get my old washer sent back to me & also sets up a pick up/refund. I had to wait till 8/24 to get this taken care of. Tuesday comes & the delivery guys come inside & tell me there is a HUGE problem. I'm thinking it's dented or scratched.. They inform me that my old washer that wasn't supposed to be taken had been URINATED IN & PACKED WITH GARBAGE! I'm contacted by HomeDepot management & told they cant return my old washer because its "unsanitary". She wouldn't even tell me the real reason & seemed to try to hide the fact it was URINATED IN. She also initially offered some sort of small discount on another new washer. However I'm not pleased with this as I was hoping to just get my old washer back & deal with being short for FREE. But now I HAVE to buy a new one. Eventually we come to an agreement & I can get a new washer. I chose an LG Front Load. Yesterday, 9/2/21 it was delivered. The new delivery guys brought it into the garage where I inspected it & looked good. While we were inspecting it we talked about what happened with our old one & one guy said quote "we purposely fu*k up them up". The new guy tried to install it with the old hoses AGAIN but this time I knew better & told him that the new hoses are needed because of mineral build up... you'd think that these installation people would know how to properly install something so important/expensive!... he installs it with the new hoses, starts a run cycle that's 15 minutes long & says "your all good, no leaks" has me sign & leaves before the cycle is over. This time I'm hovering over the washer for any strange noises & I hear nothing. I'm thinking Finally I have a washer after not having one for TWO WEEKS! I instantly start with a small load. Everything is going well. it turns on, all the buttons work & no crazy sounds. I keep walking in to listen & make sure things are going well. Halfway thought the cycle I hear grinding. I get up & theres water all the way out into my kitchen! Water has flooded two rooms on my first floor, gone into my heating/cooling vents, & has been flooding into my basement through the floor ruining many tools/electronics! But I'm most worried about the water that got into my vent that goes straight to my HVAC unit! As well as all of the now soaking wet insulation. I immediately call HomeDepot & the lady tells me shes getting a replacement order processed as well as a damage claim. Also states I'll get a call in 24 hours for that replacement & then I'll be called 48-72 business hours for the damages. 24 hours later no call. I called HomeDepot & was told the soonest I'd get a replacement is 9/18/21. TWO MORE WEEKS! read more

08-17-2019 - POOR SERVICE - I walked into Home Depot today to pick up some paint supplies and get a 5 gallon bucket of Behr paint I had previously purchased and use a gallon of shaken. I drive the bucket up to the paint counter and ask for it to be shaken. The cranky lady there said oh no we won't do that its been opened. Now anyone that knows Behr 5 gallon paint knows you can seal it back up and it doesn't budge. We proceed to get our supplies and leave. My son says to me "we should just go to Menards and have them do it." At first I thought well that's crazy this is Home Depot Behr paint but then I thought what the heck do we have to lose. So we drive over to Mendards and ask them to shake our Behr 5 gallon paint bucket. Without hesitation the gentlemen says yes and verifies its sealed and proceeds to shake our paint. While we are waiting I pickup the same supplies at Menards that I did at Home Depot. I will be returning what I bought at Home Depot. Menards didn't care what I brought in. They saw me as a customer and were ready to provide SERVICE. That 5 gallon bucket of paint was one of many gallons I used for a basement project. I spent over $1,000 in Behr paint previously and then get treated like this upon my return. Home Depot needs to treat their customers better. read more

I placed on online order for "convenience". There were 2 items. Two were delivered to me at separate times, and one was and in-store pickup even though I ordered it to be delivered. So much for convenience. When I returned part of the order, I was hassled by a customer for not wearing a mask by the front return desk. I told him where to go and Home Depot can follow him there. read more

Unfortunately, the store is a fraction of the size of other Home Depots, however I've always received great service when I've been there. I found the staff to be helpful and friendly. I agree that their prices are higher than Menards, but they do offer price matches AND when Menards has 11% off they will honor the sale via a Home Depot gift card. The Customer Service desk provides a form explaining the online process for receiving the rebate. It can all be done online. read more

Went in last night to Home Depot in the Falls. 5 people at the customer service counter were just standing there mingling amongst themselves. I came in to inquire about the bathroom vanities and when I asked one of them to assist me to see if one of the vanities were in stock, the kid I spoke to didn't even know what a vanity was. He supposedly called a team member over to assist us, but the team member never showed up near the vanities. Had to walk the entire length of the store to find another person who eventually helped us. Disappointed. read more

Worst experience of my life! I went to this same store last year to buy a riding lawnmower. After asking one of the associates to find someone that could help me I waited 20 minutes and left. They ended up losing my business as I purchased a $2500 Simplicity from my local Ace Hardware. I thought I would give them another try as I had to order a specific patio door and was also thinking of ordering a kitchen suite as well while I was there. I went to the Mill desk at 7:30 AM and waited 10 minutes and no one showed up. I finally found an employee and they said "Oh, that desk isn't manned until 8:00 AM". You would think they would have a sign. After going back and forth to 3 different desks (Cust Serv, Special Order, the back to the Mill desk), I asked for the manager if someone could help me place a special order. He said yes, the Mill desk can help you with that. I explained that I had been there 2 times already and no one is there. He seemed really indifferent. Anyway, he finally pulled up the patio door that I gave him the model number of. I then asked if I my Veteran status 10% discount would be applied. He stated that doesn't apply to special orders. I finally said you know what just forget it and left. The patio door I was going to order was $1,550.00 and the kitchen suite I was going to get was $3,800. The total between my two visits over the last year, Home Depot lost almost $8,000 in my business. I will NEVER be back, they just lost a customer for life and I WILL make sure I let everyone know of my very frustrating last 2 trips here. I will stick with Menards, at least I know when they have their 11% off sale that applies to everything. read more

I wait about 15 minutes to talk to an associate in plumbing yesterday who was guarding a fenced off area. He apologized repeatedly for the delay.Told me he couldn't leave the area until the lift truck was finished. He tried to get the operator to stop so he could help me but he refused he yelled he had to get this done because the manager was all over his ass.A store employee walked by and the associate asked the person to take over so he could help me, the associate replied he was to busy and yelled at him for taking his eyes off the lane that he could fire him for doing that, the associate become quit angry and you could see he was embarrassed all this right in front of me. Isles are constantly blocked off and no one working in them or they are blocked off to stock shelves while I'm shopping. Very inconvenient. I'm done shopping there. I feel sorry for the employee he did help me and was very nice. read more
