They even have a whole barn house that stores a ton of vintage decorative items that you can spend a decent amount of time in. So much stuff, it spills outward into the front. How cool. I wish I took photos of the rest of the land but all the reviewers captured it best. My photos just shows all the cool stuff I liked. For me, I love going to places like this to be inspired and to wander. Get lost in it. No high pressure tactics here, they'll leave you alone to roam around. I end up learning so much about nature that it becomes an overall relaxing experience. They even have an area where you can sit out and enjoy their events. And their greenhouses are beautiful. So well-stocked with every inch being utilized thoughtfully. It's also sooooo nice that you can bring your dog. I will especially go to an establishment if it's dog friendly. And my dog couldn't get enough of it. Sniffing around and laying out in the shade instead of staying home while I'm out. It seems so unfair which is why this place is such a gem to me. I am doing some renovations in my Queens NY apartment that I've had for over 40 years. I needed to change out an old door because I wanted to change the way it opened - no longer wanting it to open into the room but instead to open into the hall to allow for more space in the spare bedroom. I spent days trying to find the right door for the space - checking places like Home Depot, Lowe's, boutique establishments, etc. Then I stumbled upon My City Door. The sales person I spoke with was Boris. He answered all my questions and really put me at ease. He even followed up with me the day after the service to confirm that all went well. The installer, Eugene, was awesome. He too put me at ease when I was switching out the old door. I had several questions, which he answered for me. He also put very thin special nails into the floor's wood sill. You can't even see them! After each step during the installation process, he vacuumed (with his own high-powered vacuum) and continuously checked the levels of the door and sides using a special machine with a green lighted beam. The results are amazing! It looks great and opens and closes easily and smoothly and feels very secure. If anyone feels anxious about replacing or adding a door to their home I would highly recommend using this company. The results looked the same as those that are displayed on their website. John designed our state-of-the-art modern kitchen that showcased a gorgeous and prominent metallic gold hood that took center stage. Under the hood sits a flush-mount induction cooktop that provides an easy-to-clean cooking surface that is seamless. On each side of the hood, we selected appliances, with the help of Anthony, that complemented the modern space symmetrically. Based on the square footage of the kitchen, we not only had 2 islands but also a separate pantry for storage that had its own sink, second dishwasher, and another rubbish/compost disposal system. The refrigerator and freezer columns are adjacent to the motorized overhead cabinet doors. These cabinets are a very convenient location for our stemware and glassware. Under both islands, we have additional storage cabinets and if that wasn't enough, we have storage that goes up to our ten feet ceilings. We also chose to have integrated lights under the overhead cabinets and dimmable lights with sensors integrated in the drawers. Sean and Ajirth at Showcase Kitchens were both meticulous with the renovation. Sean came after framing of the kitchen space was completed to take accurate and precise measurements. It was at this first on-site visit by Showcase Kitchens that he found that our existing ceiling did not come out far enough to align with the cabinets. John and Ajirth worked on revising the design, which worked out better than the preliminary design. We were very thankful that Sean caught this when he was on-site. He was assigned our project manager and was very responsive and always in contact with us as well as the manufacturer. His coordination seemed effortless even with the language barrier and time zone difference. He assured us that every component of the kitchen was boxed, loaded into a container from Italy and made their way on the ship to NJ, inspected by customs before being unloaded onto a truck for the warehouse and then ultimately to our home. He was very helpful with providing the manifest and plans to confirm that we received our entire order without any hiccups. Sean also came back after the kitchen installation bearing additional accessories and saw the areas that needed adjustments by their specialist for this brand of kitchen cabinetry. He coordinated the work and the specialist came to make the final adjustments. Ajirth came prior and after the kitchen installation to ensure that a Showcase Kitchens representative was available throughout the process. He provided vital information to our fabulous GC (also referred by John) crew and his insight on the product line was instrumental to the design and install. We can't say enough about the services that Showcase Kitchens provided. They are top-notch and work tirelessly for their clients. The manufacturers they work with make exceptionally high quality products that will last for decades. Thank you for making our dream kitchen. Note to the scope of work: We were not only renovating our kitchen but also other areas of the house and the designer we worked with recommended Showcase Kitchens. We are so grateful she did. Showcase is extremely professional, addressed all of my concerns and I would highly recommend them.
