In a nutshell, WORTH EVERY PENNY! As the only in-person Insurance School left in the Vegas Valley I was throughly impressed by everything the course for Health & Life course had to offer. From our exceptional instructor, Candace, who's knowledge of the industry and what to focus on to pass the exam is unparalleled, to the Kaplan books and materials that are easy to follow, and lastly to the resources and the facility which are great. Online courses, IMHO, are a waste of time and money. They don't focus on exactly what you need to know to pass the exam in Nevada, whereas this course does. Happy to say that I took a class for P&C about a month ago and just passed the state exam. Candace is insanely knowledgeable about the industry and you can feel the years of experience. I will say that a student that might prefer more class time potentially won't like the relatively short time frame spent in class but those that prefer self study could be okay with the balance. The quizzes and flash cards on the Ace website were very handy and helped my home studying immensely. Candace was really prompt to return my calls and has been super helpful in answering some of my licensing questions and what those steps will look like post exam. Omg!! Let me just say Im 43 and haven't taken a test since my GED. I'm not book smart at all. More of a people person. Hands on kinda style. Candace was able to explain this foreign language in a relatable way so I could not only understand it but retain it. Her style of instructing and teaching are unmatched. If you want to pass the Insurance exam this is the school to choose. Candice is just amazing and provides you with all the knowledge and skills you need. I was able to pass the Life exam on the first try. It is not just the information you learn, it is the confidence that Candice instills. She teaches you not only the material but how to be successful in taking the test and preparing you for what is to come. The classes and the online practice test and videos instilled the confidence I needed. I passed the test on the first try after being lost in trying to learn online.
