Justin came out and not only was on time, respectful and very informative, but the nicest mannered young man. Their prices are fair and reasonable. We ended up having our entire house painted and it took a week. In that week, the painters were on time everyday and respectful making sure you were involved every step of the day. My wife and I hired Ace Painting to paint the outside of our house and are extremely pleased with the level of service and workmanship they provided. To start, the main reason we chose them to paint our house was the high level of detail they provided during their initial quote. They walked me through all of the steps they would perform, in great detail, which really put me at ease before making such a big decision. We love our new paint! Mr. Kim and team were painting several of the houses in our community so we picked up a card to call. They were easy to work with, and reasonable. We had some termite damage that needed to be fixed on the outside wood, and they easily and affordably fixed it so that it was good as new. We had some water damage inside that we decided to have fixed while they were there. They covered everything (I think it took them longer to make sure everything was covered than it to to actually paint) and the inside looked amazing. Any touch up or issues we had they quickly fixed. What a wonderful experience from getting the quote all the way through the team driving away! We scheduled an estimate, the office confirmed the day before and again the morning of. The estimator was thorough, knowledgeable and very fair. We accepted the estimate and they started very soon after. The team was so incredibly helpful. We struggled moving some things away from the house so I asked if they could charge us more to move a few things, they said: "we'll handle it, don't worry about it"! WOW. The team was super clean! Every evening, they put their tools in one place, covered them with a tarp and everything was cleaned up. The next day, they just got right to work again. We had put off getting the house painted because we dreaded the experience. Had we known it would be so easy we'd have done it a long time ago. Sam in the office was in constant communication. Great experience! We needed a full exterior house repaint with lots of specialized wood trim replacement. Our home has scalloped side shingles, and a number of other painters said they did not want to attempt to replace those. The ACE team has no issue with the project. We needed to paint the entire house exterior as well as all the eaves and rafters underneath the roof. We tried contacting other painters that Yelp recommended first but they never called back or replied to any of our messages after we sent them the pictures of the house - guess it was too much work for them. Not so with Ace Painting, they came out as promised, gave us an initial estimate and provided proof of all work comp insurance and license info in writing! Their office manager emailed the finished estimate a few hours later after the initial one, so we knew exactly how much it would cost to get everything painted on the very same day! We were also given the option to paint other sections of the house like the garage door, front door and fences with the added cost broken down for each section too. Glad they gave us this option because we forgot the steel fences outside the house needed painting so we added them to the job as well. After the rain stopped and the weather cleared up, the painting started on schedule and the painting team arrived early every day, well before their stated 8 am start time. Great crew, you could tell they were very experienced and took special pride in their jobs from the quality of their work. These guys were great. It started with Justin coming out, surveying the site and asking questions to get clarifications so we were all on the same page. We then worked via e-mail to finalize work scope, colors and paint finishes. The guys then showed up right on time and Juan and the crew went right to work prepping the site, they were very thorough sanding and stucco patching. They cleaned up the site every day and finished as they started completely cleaning up the site and getting everything back in place. Contracted ACE Painting for a full paint job of my automotive installation shop. They came out on location to do the estimate. The owner came with the estimator to see the place himself. Mr. Kim, the owner, speaks only a little English but enough to communicate enough. His estimators and workers speak English if necessary. Korean is the primary language. They were extremely respectful and efficient. The job turned out excellent! A major PRO is they did not require me to make a deposit, and even came out to do any touch up work I pointed out before asking for payment. That showed a lot of professionalism. My wife and I had last had our two story house painted around 2003. We have both wood siding and stucco and the wood siding was pretty weathered and worn on the south side and the garage. Mr Kim and his son Justin were professional from the start. Before we even talked about our house and getting it painted they made a presentation about their company and their experience. They showed me their workers comp papers and insurance that put me at ease. After the initial presentation Mr Kim began a thorough inspection of our home's wood for peeling, dry rot, soft spots and bad areas. We had previously gotten estimates from two other companies and another company had looked at our house and never even bothered to send us an estimate. Mr Kim and Justin gave us an estimate for the painting immediately and their estimate was very competitive with the other estimates. But for us the quality of work was actually more important to us than price alone. Our wood siding and some of the eaves were in pretty bad shape. Mr Kim said that he could give us a firmer estimate on the wood repair once his workers were able to start sanding and checking the condition of the siding and eaves close up(they were over twenty feet off of the ground). Mr Kim gave me a worst case scenario price for the wood repair and once again he was very competitive since we had gotten two quotes from contractors who specifically worked only on woodworking. My wife and I were confident Mr Kim and Ace Paintings expertise and and we gave them the approval to go ahead and start the work. Juan and Carlos started promptly on a Friday morning. They moved our barbecue and lawn furniture away from our house and wrapping all of it in plastic to protect it. They placed plastic over the windows and they also laid plastic around the house. They then began the process of prepping and sanding our wood. There was a number of wood siding pieces that needed to be replaced,which was expected and they did a great job of saving most of the siding. They spent a couple of days, prepping, taping, and preparing for the actual painting. All of the workers were on time every morning and they cleaned up each day before they left. Well, six days later the house had been painted and it looked great. It looked like a new house and we had pride of ownership again. The painters were very detailed in the hard to paint areas and there was very little mess left behind. Overall we are very happy to have chosen Mr Kim and Ace Painting and we are very happy with the work they did for us. read more

I found a small brochure from ACE painting a few months ago. I usually don't look at those random brochures, but I took a look at it. I am now so glad that I didn't throw that away and hired them for my patio cover painting and some other exterior work. Justin, their estimator came out right away and gave me a very reasonable estimate. After comparing estimates from other painters, I decided to use ACE painting. Sam, an office manager, took care of scheduling and everything in a timely manner. Roberto and his crew showed up on time, did all prep work (pressure washing and scraping/sanding) on the 1st day and did all the painting on the 2nd day. My patio cover looks like brand new now. I am very happy about their job. No surprise in the final invoice. I read all these bad reviews and cannot believe that they are talking about Ace Painting. I had a completely different experience with this company. I called the number on the flier and Steven came out the same day. He had a great presentation on his computer and told me what they would do as far as prep, replacement of wood if wanted, and we walked around the house and he asked me what I wanted painted. I have a playhouse out back, doors, frames of the windows, garage door, etc. painted or not painted, this way they would have an accurate estimate and let the workers know what NOT to paint. I didn't want the steel garage door or my front door painted. Years ago Ace left a flyer on my porch and I kept it knowing house needed painting and by the time I called Ace Painting my house was in very poor shape. The wood siding looked like a miracle couldn't bring it back. I thought for sure they were going to tell me it was impossible to restore the wood siding and that it would all have to be replaced. The frame of the slider door in the back was in bad shape at the bottom and I thought I'd have to have a whole new slider put in. The door was in good shape. They told me they could patch the frame and today, it looks great! A lot of other issues were addressed and fixed and in one week, it looks like a whole new house. I never thought they could do an extensive prep job and have it all painted and completed in a week. Honestly, I was afraid to ask how long it would take considering the shape of the house. Today my house looks amazing and I have no regrets calling Ace. In fact, they did such a great job that I had them redo my mom's stairway and landing to her guest house. She was so satisfied that she had them do all the doors and doorways in her house and the front door. The workers showed up at 7:45 every work day, worked clean, cleaned up everything after each day and did an amazing job. I have to mention Octavio, that man painted my house like it was his and he is a sweet quality guy. What more could you ask for? When Steven came to my house, he was honest. He said Ace won't be the cheapest because they use superior products and have experienced workers. I told him I wanted a GOOD job, not a cheap job and if that's your priority, call Ace. My wife and I decided that we needed to get the exterior stucco, iron work and out buildings painted. I called a couple of painting contractors with "Great" reviews and had them come and and give me a quote. One was so high I would not have hired him if my life depended on it. The other never did get back with a quote. Both had things in common. 1) They never detailed on a contract the work to be done. And... 2) While they both said that they use Dunn Edwards paint... neither talked about "which one" they would use. This is important because a "great paint job" is only as good as the paint they put on your house. I called Ace Painting and Steven called back and made an appointment. He was prompt and asked detailed questions as to what I expected. He then showed me a Powerpoint presentation that detailed their work, experience and materials. Steven made it clear that they only used Dunn Edwards Evershield paint and added Okon paint booster to make the painted surface nearly waterproof. He told me upfront that "We are not the cheapest painting contractors out there". He wrote down and presented me with a detailed quote for work to be done and materials to be used. I signed it on the spot. Now that the job is done... I am glad I did. The painting job is 5 star. I couldn't be more pleased. I had three bids on painting the exterior of my home. Their cost was in the middle of the other two. But they told me more about the preparation steps than the others. That gave me confidence in the quality of their work. They were able to start earlier than they initially told me. Then they followed through with the painting in a workmanlike way. I'm so glad I called Ace Painting. Mine is an older home, a 1200-square foot 1947 stucco house. The paint was 10-years old and a few spots needed plaster where it had chipped. I had some window sills with peeling paint...one that needed replacing completely...and a long porch with a wooden railing. I had just installed fascia boards with a new roof and had a small wooden shed that needed painting in the back yard. Justin came out and did a thorough walk-thru with me.
