I'm not one to write reviews, but the experience with Ace was so poor that I am compelled to do so. Lowlights: -Confusion around packing/load dates. I was told I was confused/wrong, only to have email confirmation that I was in fact, right. This ended up with me being charged more since the dates were extended, even though I had confirmation via email that the plan we outlined would work. -Unloading/Unpacking Crew had another job to attend to, creating a situation where the crew went from 5 people down to 2 for half the day. I asked at least a half dozen times if the crew was going to be large enough for the job and was assured each time that it was. It most certainly wasn't. -Unpacking was the worst the organizing company I used had ever seen. Resulted in more work having to be done than if the boxes were never unpacked. Created thousands of dollars in additional cost on our end. Filed a claim on this per the direction of the company, no one is responding to my calls and the claim shows "closed" on the portal even though I haven't heard anything on it. -Damage to numerous items. I did receive compensation for these, however some are sentimental, ie our son's hand made baptism sign and candles, while not expensive, were broken) At this point, I basically have no further course of action. I'd highly recommend that you choose a different company for moving services, especially given you have many options at this "white glove" price point. read more

This review and rating is largely in response to Ace's deceptive quoting and billing practices, as they over billed me for multiple services and items that were either not agreed to or simply never performed by their movers. BE VERY CAREFUL TO COUNT EVERY SINGLE BOX THEY USE AND MOVE, AS THEY WILL EXAGGERATE & LIE. By having different individuals quote, move, and bill you in the end, there is a complete lack of accountability on their movers on what you will actually be charged. Their movers blatantly lied on the billing form claiming their movers packed and moved significantly more than they actually did, and Ace's management refused to acknowledge the clear discrepancies to the original inventory and quote. They went as far as to MARK MY OWN PACKED BOXES AS THEIRS, INFLATING CHARGES for boxes, packing, and moving - all tactics to inflate final charges over the original quote. When highlighted, even after being initially recognized as being inconsistent with my belongings in the quote, THEY WILL THREATEN LITIGATION and collections to create fear rather than providing clarity on incorrect charges after repeated requests - an insane way to handle a valid customer dispute. They will end up wasting so much of your time with non-responses to reconciliation, that you will eventually give up - even after providing clear evidence to their incorrect charges. The initial experience with this company was positive, but I would never recommend them given how terrible the back-end was. DON'T TRUST ANY QUOTE YOU GET FROM THEM - I promise you, they will find every way to deceptively inflate charges on moving day and never tell you about it until weeks later. read more

Moving cross country was something I dreaded and I had very low expectations. We chose to use Ace because I felt very confident after speaking with Eric that they'd do a great job. The showed up on time and were organized, professional, friendly and hardworking. Both crews (CA and TX) were wonderful but the TX crew had to haul all our stuff up our ridiculously steep driveway with fewer guys. They never complained and really seemed to love what they do. The driver Irving was unbelievably professional and meticulous. Ace is lucky to have Irving and the crews represent them. I highly recommend their services. This is our 3rd time using Ace Relocation. We've always had a good experience but this last one was by far the best experience yet. Eric Kronebusch was fantastic at everything from giving a quote to getting everything all set up to checking on us on moving day. The moving crew in Austin was fantastic as well. Warning! My experience with this moving company is this- they stole my medications- smashed a valuable chair, and dented a valuable table. The claims associate Nicole Campbell decided they would not cover the full cost of the repair of the chair, nor the table. Buyer beware!! read more

We were referred to Ace by our local Austin mover who didn't do long-distance moves. This was our 7th long distance move (both domestic and international) and by far, the smoothest. Eric and Gwen were both easy to reach and helpful leading up to the move. The movers arrived right on schedule on packing day, did a great job, were friendly and efficient. Joshua (our driver) is truly amazing. He was funny, easy to talk to, communicated with us from the road and our delivery came earlier than we ever expected. The guys handling the delivery were professional and nice. Things go wrong during every move - it takes longer than expected, an item might go missing or a table might get a chip. We expect those things to happen, which is why we always make sure we are insured. Compared to our other moves, this was very smooth and I would absolutely recommend them to someone doing a long-distance move. read more

I don't recommend recommend moving cross-country twice in one year, but if you find yourself in that situation (as we did) you will be so relieved to have a mover like Ace Relocation Systems and a rep like Eric to oversee your move. We selected Ace from several movers for a cross-country move away from Austin. Their price was very fair and transparent compared to other quotes, and we appreciated the level of service that Eric and his crew provided. Everyone we dealt with at Ace was professional and helpful, calm and capable. Everything made it to its destination within the time frame quoted and for the amount of money quoted, and they were so good about keeping us updated about the process. We'd never done a big move with a relocation company before but it was a really positive experience. Moving is stressful! And Eric definitely made it feel a little less stressful. So when it came time to move *back* to Austin several months later we only made one call, and that was to Eric and Ace. Eric worked with a local company to get us a quote, and was so patient with a lot of changing dates and addresses. He fought for us to get the dates we wanted. Eric was a true advocate who oversaw the whole process for us. We had a different driver for our return move, and a different crew to unload the truck, but once again everything was handled professionally and everything made it back across the country. I hope any other moves we make will be local, but regardless, Eric/Ace will be my first (and likely only) call. I HIGHLY recommend them. read more

The movers showed up on time and worked quickly and efficiently. I would not recommend them because they tacked on an additional $400 because they did not correctly estimate the lift van requirements .(truck space) This was for the Simplicity move with Atlas Van Lines. Note: this was after arguing back and forth. Original overcharge was for over $700. read more

When we had to relocate to Nashville from Austin, we were expecting massive moving bills; and many of the quotes we received from some of the other moving company's brought that fear to realty. Many couldn't even fit all of our stuff in their trucks, which meant on top of their fees we'd have to rent a trailer. But, at the recommendation of my parents, we reached out to Ace for a quote. My parents had used them in their previous cross-country move. Our assumption was they would be just as expensive, if not more, than the other guys, so we called more to rule them out. We are SO thankful we reached out anyways. They were SIGNIFICANTLY less than everyone else and we couldn't have had a better experience! From the rep who walked our house, to the driver, to the loading/unloading guys, everyone was friendly, professional and went above and beyond to make sure they made an otherwise stressful time as pleasant as possible. They took apart beds, sectionals, even our basketball goal and reassembled it all upon delivery! Moving the week before Christmas, everyone we knew told us there was no way our stuff would be delivered on Christmas Eve, like Ace told us, and to expect things to be missing. But lo-and-behold, they showed up on time Christmas Eve and NOTHING was missing! We hope we never have to move again; but if we do, we know who we'll be calling! read more

From estimate to delivery, I was very pleased - and that's saying a lot for moving companies! I was relocating from Austin to California and Eric cane by to complete my estimate. He was friendly, helpful and professional. And then when I broke my wrist right before moving and could no longer pack myself, he added on the full pack for a reasonable price. Add on the my delivery address required a city parking permit for the moving truck which needed to be requested 5 days in advance. This meant I needed to know my delivery date 5 days in advance of delivery - not an easy task for most movers. Eric really made sure this happened! Moving is stressful enough, but Eric checked in consistently throughout the process to make sure all was going well. From packing and loading day to delivery day, Eric was there throughout the process. The driver was very experienced and professional - rolled out floor protection, corner guards on walls and doors and made sure no damage was done at either location. After unpacking all items - packed by the movers - not a single item was broken. Very well done. Having moved a number of times, this is the first time I can actually say I recommend a moving company! Ace Relocation (Eric) and Atlas did a great job - good price and good service! read more

When looking for a state to state moving company, I was recommended to use Ace. I was very happy with the whole process from building the estimate with Eric, to getting moved in my new place in San Diego. There were no bumps in the road loading up. The delivery came on the last day of the estimated delivery spread. There was a slight hiccup when the guys were supposed to come deliver my things. They were scheduled to come in the morning and when that time passed I was making phone calls to see what was happening. I was worried I would be sleeping on the floor that night but Eric handled everything great and they did eventually show up. Only one lamp was cracked but I packed everything myself. I was expecting for something to go missing but to my surprise everything was accounted for! Thanks for taking good care of my things. I just recently retired from my job and was going to relocate from Tx back to California. My husband and I shopped around for the best relocation package we could find and chose Ace! The salesman Eric was very helpful and really cared about our move! The driver Robert was professional and the packers, Rick, David, Chris, and Rueben were very attentive on packing everything from clothes, collectibles to glassware! All in all, my husband and I felt confident on choosing this company to custom pack for us! The new crew from Murrieta was just as great! Atlas/Ace moving was the worst experience I have ever had. The service and lack of communication was a joke. They consistently over promised and under delivered. How can it take 15 days to get furniture from San Antonio to Las Vegas!! They kept telling me that it should get there on a certain day and it never arrived until the last day allowed by the "contract". In addition they contracted an outside firm to move one of my vehicles and that was even worse customer service. I waited all day the day my car was supposed to be picked up and a1/2 before the window for delivery was to close I finally reached out and they said, oh we can't do it until tomorrow. Do not us ACE/ATLAS unless you can afford to wait an eternity for your goods. Worst moving company ever!!! read more

We were very happy with how Ace Relication moved our company across town. Not only was the price reasonable, but the crew was friendly, fast and efficient. They arrived before 9:30 am and carefully moved us from a second story office into their truck and off to our new location by 1pm. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. read more

If there was a zero that is what I would rank them. If you are reading this and consider using this company PLEASE re-think it. This is the first review I have written but we were so mistreated that I was compelled to warn all other possible consumers. Not only do I have a jewelry box missing and damaged furniture....they are claiming we signed for the boxes(everything packed..as if we knew or even thought they will steal my jewelry box). The only thing I cared about was my class ring...I can't replace that. They are refusing to pay damages for barstools and rugs that they clearly damaged. They were careless with our belongings and even packed candy trash from candy we gave the packers!?!? I could go on but I won't. No matter what they write back to me...don't use them. No matter how nice the initial people you come in contact with are... Please heed this warning. Find someone else to move you. I am not a yelper...and I am not hard to please. I'm someone who just didn't want my things damaged or stolen and would have been okay if they had been decent enough to admit it and take care of us. Asha...was horrible.
