BUYER BE AWARE! If a negative number was possible a (-) 5 would be my review as someone impacted by their roofing project. They blocked ingress and egress of (5) five homes in our HOA with their vehicles and we had other NO OTHER access outside the neighborhood. PEOPLE HAD TO DRIVE ON SIDEWALKS to exit the community!! The homeowner and site manager saw no issue with the lack of access outside of the neighborhood. THIS WAS AFTER A CONSERVATION WITH THE HOMEOWNER AND SITE MANAGER AFTER AN HOUR AN HALF OF BLOCKAGE. Don't expect your neighbors to do the right thing. Oh and by the way the manager stopped by in the afternoon to "apologize" for the neighbors inconvenience... HOLLOW WORDS... I act with reviews and dollars as should you. Who doesn't need to get to work or take children to school after 7 AM? What labially does the homeowner and company take for eliminating access for emergency vehicles in an area? If I could post images of this lack of planning and creative solutioning; I WOULD. THESE GUYS ARE NOT YOUR ROOFERS. As all homes in our HOA have had roofers replace their roofs without eliminating access to streets for our neighbors. THESE GUYS SUCK

Edit: so stepped on a fresh leftover roofing nail that went almost all the way through my shoe in the yard. Have to dock a star for that. Photo attached. So over 6 years ago I contacted this company and a person named Adam came out and sealed some vents for me on my roof. I had just purchased my home and wasn't charged, he just said keep him in mind in the future. Welcome to the future! It was time for a new roof and I had his contact info saved in my phone. The whole process went smooth, dealing with the insurance company not so much, but that has nothing to do with the new roof ;) Adam was professional and ordered the product after giving me an estimate and making an adjustment I requested for some extra vents. Fast forward a few weeks later and as promised the crew showed up at sunup around 7AM. They worked to get the existing roof tore off within a few hours, did repairs, they started new shingle install. Everything was wrapped up by approx 3PM. They did a pretty good job cleaning up, however a few nails remained on the roof as well as in the gutters and a tip from a caulk tube. Not a huge deal, but worth the mention. There was also a piece of shingle trimming in the gutter. All in all I am completely satisfied and would recommend their work. I got up there this evening to inspect and to my somewhat untrained eye everything looks great!

Maston, thanks for the good work that you and your crew at Ace Roofing did on our Austin house. We are very happy with the work that was done and for your help in the project set up in doing the detailed initial inspection, description/details of the work, record keeping and your professionalism, construction knowledge and communication. We know working with remote owners in another state can be difficult, but you made it easy. The price was more than fair. Wonderful service. All greatly appreciated.

After a major hailstorm, we worked with Adam at Ace Roofing and couldn't be happier. Start to finish, communication has been outstanding and I really appreciate all the guidance and support we've received through this process. He fit us into their already busy schedule and we had a new roof in one day. I was impressed with the thoroughness of their cleanup as well. After the crew was done, he sent 2 others the next day to double check and ensure there were no nails left behind. He then took care of getting our gutters replaced and everything looks fantastic. Adam is a gem and I give Ace Roofing my highest recommendation!

This photo shows how the front of our house was left. New shingles going directly on 20 year old underlayment, and bare plywood.

We reached out to Amous to repair hail damage back in April, and signed a contract to get our roof replaced as well as trim on our chimney while they were up there. The actual roof didn't come in until August (4 months later) because the wrong material were initially ordered, and during the job we had to deal with - Insufficient materials, dragging the installation process out three days - Roofers trying to cut corners by putting new shingles over 20 year old underlayment - Damage to landscaping lights - Damage to our fence - Trash and materials left in our yard - Ridge vents on our shed that were thrown away and not re-used. At the end of the day we're left holding the bag to re-paint trim and find someone else to do the chimney. The finished roof looks nice, but I'd say this company is average at best, and definitely not worth 5 stars. The pictures attached show how our house was left when crews left (bare plywood, new shingles on old underlayment), chimney not touched, some of the damage and trash, however there's still more (damaged lights, empty cans, etc.) not pictured.

Since then the roof has held up great! Last week I started seeing a leak on the outside of my house. I called them up and the owner sent someone out the same day just to rule anything out. When they came out we both agreed that it didn't look like there was anything wrong with the roof, but that didn't stop them for doing their best to stop it from leaking they added some caulking around some holes in the stucco and masonry and fixed up some of the flashing near the leak. After that, it was still leaking, but Brad, the owner, was kind enough to come out again, even though it had NOTHING to do with the roof just to double-check on me and make sure that I was doing well. At the end of the day, they took off a side gutter and found a hole in the wall that the builders had left from when the house was built. Again, STILL not roof related, but they treated me like family and helped me as if it were and fixed it up for me. Literally cannot say enough good things about WDR! I've never found a company that is this helpful or this responsive.

We had storm damage, they patched a leak same day and got on the roof mid-weather to help us out. David also documented everything and took plenty of pictures so we knew exactly what it looked like before and after the repair. Their attention to detail remedied the leak immediately. What really set them apart was how David went above and beyond. He identified several mistakes made by the original builder that were never done right to begin with. LOA Roofing & Construction

    (32 reviews)

[Update] LOA reached out to me after seeing my complaint. They acknowledged that the placement of…read morethe scuppers could have been handled better and agreed to issue a refund for the gutter installation. In addition, they assured me that they would send someone to inspect the ponding water if the issue worsens during next year's rainy season. I appreciate that they took customer feedback seriously, and as a result, I've updated my rating from 3 stars to 5 stars. Context: I recently bought a house with a flat roof. This flat roof has 3 major areas. Because the original roof was poorly done, I decided to replace 2 parts of the 3. I hired LOA to install a 135mil TPO roof for this residential house. They came and installed the TPO from October 21 to 25, 2025. The total project costed $18,280. As I just bought the house, I paid the full amount out of my own pocket. My experience with LOA was a bit mixed. I will start from the positive side. Their price was competitive. I got 3 roofers to give me quotes for 80mil TPO and all had great reviews on both Yelp and Google. The highest quote was around $24K and the lowest one was around $16k. LOA's original quote ($16680) was in the middle but was very similar to the lowest one. Additionally, their sales representative was very responsive and helpful and that was one major reason why I chose LOA over the lowest one. After I decided to hire LOA, they even offered me 135mil if I added $1K because they had some leftover 135mil from another commercial project and I decided to take it. Basically the experience before the actual installation started was very positive. However, after the installation actually got started, the experience was mixed. First of all, they changed the crew just a couple of days before the installation because LOA got a big commercial project and that crew was assigned to that commercial project. But they told me the new crew was also experienced and ensured that I didn't need to worry about it. But what happened next didn't seem to show the new crew was that competent -- Initially I was told the whole installation would take 1 day, but in fact, it took the crew 5 days to complete. For me, taking longer time to complete the installation was not a big issue because I'd rather them do it right. Later they told me one of the reasons why the new crew spent so much time was because the new crew actually replaced all 3 parts of the roof rather than just 2 parts. This was a nice surprise since they didn't charge me more for that. But apparently there was a communication issue between LOA and the crew. Additionally, because of the installation delay, the weather changed and we got a bit of rain before the installation was fully completed, but they told me the roof was mechanically sealed so I didn't need to worry about the rain during the installation. When the rain actually came after the entire roof was installed, that was when the problems began. The first problem was the placement of the scuppers: two of them were positioned right above my wooden deck. Whenever it rained, water poured straight onto the deck. After I complained, LOA explained that the original roof had been designed that way. Although they could have positioned the scuppers in different places, they said they simply followed the original design since I hadn't specifically asked for changes. I found this frustrating -- I'm not a professional roofer and as a new homeowner I expected them to use their expertise to warn me about potential issues like this in advance. Unfortunately, they didn't consider the bigger picture when installing the roof. Anyway, as I felt I couldn't entirely blame LOA, I decided to spend additional $600 for them to install a gutter to redirect the water away from the deck. The second problem was ponding water. Even 36 hours after the rain had stopped, I could still see standing waters in at least 3 areas of the roof. One of these spots (number 1 in the photo) was exactly where the original roof had issues. Even worse, two of the ponding areas (number 1 and 2 in the photo) were located on the seams. I raised this concern with LOA again, but they said they wouldn't worry unless the waster remained for more than 4 days -- despite the fact that information from other roofers' websites suggests ponding water could be a concern if it lasts 24-48 hours. LOA told me they would eventually come back and apply some lower-grade TPO over the seams when they had leftover material from other projects. I don't know when they will do it but for now, I'll wait for them to do that since it's not the rainy season yet. I hope it will address the ponding issue. I also plan to monitor the roof during the rainy season in May and June to see if the water persists for more than four days.

I recently had 21st Century repaint the exterior of my house. You can find that review here as…read morewell. I'm writing a new one because this is a different project. After they finished painting my house, a few weeks later after heavy rains I noticed a stain on the ceiling of a guest bedroom. I knew immediately it was the long nagging problem of the "dead valley" along my roof. The house was designed and built according to the architect's drawings to have the roof of the first floor bedroom run into the siding of the house. It was a short "run" and rainfall should go quickly into the gutters. But, this was built under a big, old oak tree and for many years, I've had leaves and twigs built up, damming up the water. If I can remember it, I have to get up on a ladder with a rake and rake the leaves away from where the shingles meet the siding. After one major hailstorm, I had the roof replaced and when they replacing it, I asked them to build something to reduce the leave/branch damming. They did build it, but apparently not big enough. It lasted probably 14-15 years until this recent Spring. Since I had a good experience with 21st Century, I called them out to give me a bid on repairing what was probably rotted trim and exposed flashing and other rot elsewhere. And while they were at it, I asked them to build me a better diverter away from the siding. They came out and took care of it in a day. The guy was there from 8:30 to 5:00, taking a break for lunch, but got it done. Since they were also the painters, they asked me for the leftover paint they left for me (for touch-up) that came in handy as they had to replace the rotten trim and as it turned out a section of the roof decking. Attached are the pictures they took for the bid and then afterwards when they were complete. They were detailed enough to ask me first, "hey, this diversion we're putting in is a lighter grey then your shingles. Are you okay with that? We can go back and get darker materials". I said that was fine. No one can see that part of the roof and so it was trivial to me. The only negative thing from the painting and the roofing experience is so minor it's not worth taking away a star is that there will be a gap between when you sign and return the contract and they contact you about scheduling the actual work. In both cases, I had to drop them a line to remind them I was in the queue. Being a service that can't work when it's raining, I can understand that they have days where scheduled work is delayed and that causes a snowball effect of delays.
