I called Adam yesterday to do a few repairs on my roof. I sent him photos of my two problem areas where the shingles recently blown off. He immediately gave an estimate which was incredibly fair priced. Just spoke with Adam on the phone. I had a random question for him about installing roof deck tiles on my tar paper roof (a DIY job). He quickly got back to me and was very helpful in answering all my questions. I asked him whether he thought he should come out to examine my roof, and he declined saying he didn't think he needed to and wanted to save me the money. I found that pretty impressive, as he easily could have pushed to sell me services I didn't need. So although I can't vouch for Adam's work at this point (as he only offered me advice), I do feel confident in the quality of his character. I would think that any service person who doesn't come out to look at your problem is one not worth hiring. Called about some broken/loose shingles on house. Adam first starts talking about $275 maintenance package then I told him about my shingles and rather than coming out to look at it (10 miles) looks it up on google earth to see my roof, gives me the estimate and then will throw in the maintenace at $75. Second roofer comes out and sees much more damage that I realized from the storm and says I need a new roof but thank god I still have time to file claim with insurance company. By Adam not even coming out, I would never have known the damage and have been protected. read more

We had a leak on our 4 year old roof, and I think the original contractor who built the house knew it, since you can see how they tried to fix it, but did a really poor job. Adam came over and sealed the area, but we were both not sure we have the right leaking spot. During the lastest rain storm, I noticed it still leaking inside the house. Since Adam is knowledgeable and honest about not being sure about the initial repair, I am going to call him back to work with me on patching the roof. read more

Had a mysterious porch leak of unknown origin. Called one roofer who wanted to charge me a ridiculous amount to redo the entire area over the porch and would only give me a "verbal estimate". Not satisfied with that answer I called Adam based on other reviews, he came out promptly and took his time, explained the issues with the roof and was very clear on the scope of what he could do and followed up. I first hired Adam a few years ago when my roof started to leak. After the amazing job he did fixing that, he was my first call when it was time for a new roof. It has been a few weeks since Adam and his team finished the new roof on my house and I am more then happy with the job. The roof looks beautiful and I'm sure it will last for many many years. But what really sets Adam and Ace roofing apart is that after the job was done he went over everything, including personally fixing a screen that was accidentally damaged during the install, to ensure that I was 100% completely happy with the job before he would consider it done. the next time I need any roof work done, Adam will be my first and only call. read more

I've been meaning to write a review for this company but time got away from me! I called Ace Roofing last spring to repair some shingles on a badly installed roof (done before we bought the house). We also had severely deteriorated ridge caps that needed to be replaced. I thought for sure they would try to talk us into a new roof (which is huge and would have cost a fortune) but instead they repaired the damaged shingles, replaced the ridge caps and carefully inspected the roofs of our house, garage and guest cottage and did maintenance where necessary. Our roof went from looking very shabby to looking great - amazing for a roof that's at least 25 years old. As far as price, they seemed to be in line with the other companies I called but I chose them because they were responsive, told me exactly what they would do, and weren't pushy about trying to sell me anything extra, although I will consider the maintenance service.
