went in to change jewelry and explained that one of my lobe piercings had healing issues before. I asked for it to be checked first and was told it would be fine, but it clearly was not healed or ready to be changed. I initially chose a hoop, but it would not fit the piercing. I was then told to choose another piece, and the piercer became impatient and aggressive because I did not pick one fast enough. When he began inserting the new jewelry, it caused severe pain. I repeatedly said "I'm done" and asked him to stop. My sister told him I was bleeding, and he said I wasn't and continued anyway. He kept saying the jewelry was in when it wasn't. I ended up crying, because of how much pressure he was putting on this unhealed piercing, and my sister had to yell at him before he finally stopped. After this, he left jewelry in my bottom piercing. I had specifically asked for jewelry I could unscrew myself, but the piece he put in could not be removed on my own and he even said it himself. Ignoring pain, dismissing bleeding, becoming aggressive, and continuing after being told to stop is unacceptable. This experience was unsafe and unprofessional, and I would not return. My friend that was also there actually recorded the part when I started crying and My Sister had to yell at him to stop. Mind you my sister and I were speaking our own language to each other. The piercer commented that it sounded like "gibberish," then asked if we were speaking English in a rude way. This added to an already uncomfortable and unprofessional experience. read more

Update! Got it re-pierced CORRECTLY at a different place! And the person I got my piercing from thoroughly explained what went wrong. For example, the guy the first time had me sit down, and then this piercer made me lay flat, which made it was less painful and more simple. And to the person on here trying to suggest that "my body isn't proportionally made for it", yeah you're completely incorrect. In fact, the person I went to said my body was PERFECTLY SHAPED FOR IT! My body was a lot bigger then, and I've worked hard to get into shape. So shame on you! I'm much happier with how it looks now vs back then. read more

I waited to see how my two ear piercings (daith and helix) would heal before posting. I did follow his directions about cleaning once a day and it's been three weeks and they're completely healed and there's no crust or anything anymore. I read the other reviews and I even had someone tell me a bad story but my experience was great. I liked hitting the big gong at the end. I walked out happy. I understand why he keeps the door locked- people could come in and steal his jewelry. Just call and wait. If it's cold, set an appointment. His daughter was very nice. There is a little bit of green that formed on my gold jewelry but it's barely noticeable so it's fine. I do wish he walked through the process verbally more. It is cash only but there is an atm. I paid $140 for the two and considering everything was good and I was a walk in I didn't mind paying the extra $5 for the atm fee. Went here for the first time recently for a peircing. The place has the perfect amount of quirk and professionalism you want in a tattoo/peircing place. About two weeks after getting my peircing, the jewelry broke. I went back and they replaced it for free and let me upgrade the style of the ring. Also no charge to put it in. I wanted a simple crescent face moon and what I got was horrendous, uneven, and the line work was so blown out. It looked like a banana with bulbous nose, most people didn't know it was supposed to be a moon. The artist asked me for an inspo picture and she printed it off and TRACED IT! TRACED A SCREENSHOT OF A TATTOO ON ANOTHER PERSON, PIXELS AND ALL. I never said anything because she said after it healed it wouldn't look so thick but healing time came and went and it looked horrible. I finally got it covered up and got a new moon done that looks great. I don't know how they allowed this work to even leave the shop. $100 down the drain for my first and worst tattoo. Now I thoroughly research both the shop AND the artist (a first timers mistake) 1 star because the shop itself was clean and I'm sure they have other good artists but I will never go back there for more ink or piercings. I went in a couple of weeks ago to get my belly button pierced, I went to a different place today because I was in so much pain to find out that I was given a surface instead of a naval. the rod that was less than half an inch which caused the top ball to go into the hole causing swelling and irritation. Would give zero stars if I could. Was eating next door with a friend at Nongs when we noticed there was a shop next door and we both wanted new piercing jewelry (nose & ear). Most places put in the jewelry for you when you buy it. This place did not and required a $40 appointment... on top of the 30/40 jewelry price. Not to mention the main older man who works there was extremely rude. We ended up putting the jewelry in ourselves while he just watched and laughed. Amazing experience! My two sisters and I decided to go get our noses pierced. Needless to say we were trying to revive our young days at the now age of 58,64, and 71. Randy is incredibly unprofessional and rude. I went in to get two cartilage ear piercings, and Randy mispierced my ear because he didn't bother to check the placement of my ring. He then also chose a ring that was too small, so there was no room to swell, causing the ring to RIP through my cartilage. Because of his mistake, I've gone to urgent care, emergency room, dermatologist (twice), and ENT (ear, nose, throat). I've also contacted him for a refund, and, at first, he agreed and said I'd be able to receive it in two weeks. However, when I called in, e said he refused to give me a refund because of this review I wrote. I then told him what I wrote was just the truth, and he, a "professional" piercer, then proceeded to YELL at me, an 18 year old girl (and most importantly a customer) with cauliflower ear, while I was able to remain calm. I'm 18 years old, I was looking on yelp to see what tattoo shops would be good so that I could get my second tattoo done. I came across ace. I went there and I got my foot tattoo done. There isn't much to it there is no color. It's just black and white the total cost was $220. The worst part of it is that there was no instructions on how to clean in. But having been through my first tattoo I had a pretty good Idea on what to do. But not even two days later. My foot was swollen and red. I learned that my tattoo was infected. That same night I went to get my tattoo I got my belly button pierced. It was red like it Should be due to it going through the 3 previous times I've had it pierced. Within three days of cleaning and not touching it. Yellowish pus was coming out of the open wound, which means there's an infection.. So if your looking for a place to go. I went in for two simple tattoos and received a two for one price of $60. Both of them turned out to have visible flaws afterwards. One of which was simply a row of six dots of different colors. They ended up being slightly different sizes and he didnt even switch needles between colors, instead he just tried cleaning it off.. so when he went from orange to yellow it left a slight tinge of orange around the edge.
