I went to Ace Tech two times. The first time with a broken old Christmas music box. They said that they didn't do that type of repair but recommended a place nearby that did. Ace Tech was right on. The recommended place did an outstanding job at a reasonable price. The second time was to repair a desktop computer that had some sort of thermal problem. They said it would take a few days to get to it ... I'm sure every customer wants their item fixed today ... but everyone has to realize that they aren't Ace Tech's only customer. A few days went by and I called to check on the progress. One of the friendly Ace Tech guys said the computer was done, but they were just running some more diagnostics to make sure it was 100% OK. An hour later they sent me a text telling me my computer was ready to be picked up. I was happy with the price and impressed with the professionalism of everyone there. It was nice to have a working computer again ... and Ace Tech will be the first place I go the next time I have any problems with my PC, iPad or iPhone. I highly recommend Ace Tech. read more

I brought my Windows 10 Gaming PC into Ace Tech a few weeks ago & they did a great job fixing my PC for only the $80 to diagnose why it was having a power up issue. It was the power button power cable that was not connected to the motherboard was the issue & the side issue of installing the reset button power cable & they told me my top graphics slot stopped working. So they had to move my graphics card to the bottom graphics card slot on my motherboard & when they were all finished doing all that it fixed my PC. They only took about 2 days to fix my PC. So they were really fast & really good at repairing my PC. They probably could have charged me more than the $80 PC diagnosis fee, but they were really fair to not charge me more than the diagnosis fee to fix my PC. A lot of other PC repair shops charge you the diagnosis fee if you want your PC to bediagnosed, but then a lot of them also charge for anything they have to install to repair your PC. However, they did not charge me extra for finishing the installation of the motherboard cables to the power button/reset button & IO ports on the front of my PC, & they didn't charge me extra for installing my graphics card for me into the bottom graphics slot on my motherboard. They could have charged me extra for installing the graphics card into the bottom graphics card slot like Microcenter would do for an extra $60 on top of the $80 diagnosis fee, but Ace Tech did not do that to me. I will definitely come back to Ace Tech to get my PC fixed or upgraded next time I need my PC fixed or upgraded. Ace Tech did an amazing job fixing my PC while not overcharging me like a big box PC repair shop or big box electronics store might do to me like Microcenter. They have the worst communication of any business I've ever dealt with. I dropped an iPad off on a Monday. They told me 24 hours and they would be able to tell me if it was the charge port. I called Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday and Friday. They gave me the run around about how long it would take every time we spoke. Finally Saturday I showed up and demanded they returned my iPad fixed or not. I Had to threaten to call the police before they would finally return it. Not only was it not fixed but the charging port was removed so now I have to replace it. The worst part of all of this was the owners absolute lack of empathy. It's one thing to make a mistake, but is a whole other thing when you can't take ownership of it. I would strongly encourage you to avoid this business. read more

They were patience, understanding, and even though I could not describe exactely what I was trying to say. They understood. I am a happy senior citizen, and dont understand computers well. Very Disappointed. Would not recommend. Drop off my work PC and needed ASAP. Told them specifically change my keyboard and PC was not turning on, due to my attempt to swap myself but decided not to once i saw many components needed to be removed. Over 2 weeks in I received notice they fixed PC turning on but they needed more time because they needed to change keyboard... Made my work life that much harder for almost a month. 2 stars because their customer interaction was polite and professional, but overall bad for me. Definitely not coming back. read more

Haven't cracked my phone screen ever. Had a baby and trying to juggle phone and diaper bag... cracked my phone screen. Started calling around for pricing and Ace Tech was the lowest price I found, and the friendliest! They fixed my phone within an hour. After I got it fixed, I noticed it started randomly restarting. I had no clue if it had to do with the new screen or not, so asked them. They checked out my phone and didn't think the screen was the issue, but replaced my screen again (no charge) just to be sure. I have been using ACE Tech Repair for 3 years. They do a great job of diagnosing and repairing our computers. After my most recent repair, I received a very strange email thanking me for getting my computer repaired and that "if you say Unicorn Poop 3 times and lick a doorknob, a repairman might visit you in your dreams." I consider this highly unprofessional. When I went into the store to ask if their email had been hacked, I received only that, yes, it was one of their techs then they just shrugged it off. I am considering not using them again since, while I know they do a good job, I do not appreciate their lack of professionalism. read more
