DO NOT USE! Ace Tours is owned by the same lousy scum bag as Fort Lauderdale Shuttles LLC. We used Fort Lauderdale Shuttles for round trip transportation to/from the hotel and the cruise port. We paid cash and were provide horrible service. Their fleet of vehicles are run down and poorly maintained. We reached out to the owner, Eyal Alan Karp, to try and resolve our issue but he was so cocky and did not care. He had our money and that's all that mattered to him. Check out the reviews for both companies and form your own opinion. But when you own two companies with one star reviews you should probably consider your business approach. read more

We stayed at the Hampton before we left for our cruise and Ace Tours was the complimentary shuttle to Port Everglades. In coordination with the hotel we were assigned a time. We left at 1200 and got right in the van which was crowded, but glad to get on. They have a little trailer for everyones luggage. The guy checking us in sold us a sticker for our way back after we disembarked the ship. $10 per person to bring us to another hotel. Probably a little cheaper than a cab at least that's what we were told and believed at the time. Either way it was convenient and quicker and more organized than I thought. Driver bringing us to the cruise terminals, patience of a saint. What a stressful job getting into that cruise port with a trailer, getting yelled at, trying to maneuver etc. Bless his heart. He drops everyone off at all the various cruise lines and terminals. We were the last one which was no biggie. Nice guy. The guy picking us up after we got off the ship was a bit of a grouch. He seemed to roll his eyes when he found out which hotel we were staying at. Drove like a crazy person and just seemed like a grump. He lightened up a bit when we gave him a small tip which now I kind of regret giving. Decent transportation service, but didn't care for the ride back. read more

Absolutely the worst shuttle service. We we on a cruise in march of 2022 and this was the shuttle to the cruise ships while staying at the Fairfield inn. We had to pay to and from which was fine but the lady said it was cash only and it was $40 for the 2 of us. We get our cash and pay her come to find out she thought there were 4 if us so we paid an extra $40. We have called the owner of the company no less than 30 times and they said to email them the receipts and we would get a refund and nothing. Now the voicemail is full. We chartered a coach bus for a church (Central Light Grace Chapel) trip from Lauderdale Lakes to the Jungle Queen pier. I got nervous for a while when, what turned out to be a break down in communication, caused me to think that we would have gotten stranded at the appointed time. However, Alan reassured me that I had nothing to worry about. Needless to say, everything worked out perfectly. Our driver, Julio was awesome. He was right on time, for the beginning of the trip and for the return. He was friendly and amazing. To top it all off, the price Alan gave us was second to none. Not even close. We used their shuttle service to get from The Holiday Inn Express in Ft. Lauderdale to the cruise ship at $8/person. It should have been a 10-15 minute drive. We ended up on a bus with people from 8 ships. It took ONE HOUR to get to our ship and there were still people on the bus. The driver was inefficient. I called to complain and was given the explanation that they didn't know how many cruise ports they would have to go to and they would not use one van per ship. Save yourself aggravation and pay the little extra to take a cab. read more

I booked our shuttle service through Ace since they were the cheapest out of the shuttle services in the area. I guess you get what you pay for. Our first shuttle driver was horrible, he was 30 minutes late and asked us how to get to the hotel! Hello! were not from around there. And isn't that your job especially when I had to disclose all the address information when I booked the service? We got a group together from our fire dept and decided to do a Day bus trip to the Marlins game. Mauricio and his staff at ACE Tours couldn't have been more helpful. We went back and forth via email and they replied instantly. By far they quoted us the best price in renting a 57 coach passenger bus. James the bus driver was very nice and professional. We look forward to doing business with them again, and will recommend them to whoever needs to rent buses or vans. read more

I had a prepaid transport with Ace Tours on December 13th to be picked up at the Port of Fort Lauderdale. A driver named Eric called and told us he would be there in five minutes. I talked to him several times, but after 45 minutes he had not arrived. I contacted Mauricio Chabon many times by email and phone and was treated rudely. I was promised a refund by the end of January. I have not received it. I agree with the writer who wanted a no star option. read more

I used this service in January 2012 to travel from a Ft Lauderdale hotel to the cruise ship. Service to the ship was excellent, lovely big air-conditioned coach, great, friendly driver. Unfortunately, I paid for the return trip - to be picked up at end of cruise and paid the extra $20 for two people. When we arrived back at port, the arrival area was very busy. Rang the pre-arranged number and was given a description of van and eta. Saw the van come into arrival area much later than expected, the driver wasn't even looking at the passengers waiting, just sped through and headed back out. Rang the office again and was told they would send him back. Waited another 30 minutes, no joy so had to jump into a cab instead. On the way to destination in cab, saw the van and driver idling along the same route as the cab with no passengers. Once I got home, emailed the company and asked for a refund. They were very prompt at replying and said the refund would be processed immediately. Over a year later, additional emails and still no refund. Don't buy the return trip! read more

!!THEY STRANDED US---DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! We booked Ft. Lauderdale Shuttles, a division of Ace Tours, for 6 people on a recent cruise. They were scheduled to pick us up from the Port of Miami at 9:00am as our cruise ended. I received a call from their dispatcher just before 9 and let him know we were exiting the ship and would be 10 - 15 minutes. At 9:14 I called them back to find out how to get our shuttle...and was told that since we were late they gave our van to someone else. After an hour and a half and multiple calls we finally got another shuttle...that was FULL. Calling again and explaining, again, that we had a flight to catch in Ft. Lauderdale at noon, I was told that they couldn't send anyone else and we'd just have to find another way there. I was given the number of the owner and told he would cover the cost. I called the owner and he completely ignored us and said he wasn't paying anything...then he hung up. We did get a ride from MIA shuttles that cost a little more, but thankfully made it to the airport on time. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! read more

The worst experience ever! They completely ruined an event 2 years in the making. All they needed to do was bring 35 children from point A to point B. They did not show up. Even after I called to confirm 3 times within the week of the event and was assured everything would be fine, they failed to show up. After repeated phone calls, I found out the bus was at point C (I am still unsure of where the point C came from) instead of point A. Point C was over thirty minutes from point A!! It took numerous phone calls with the driver to finally get him to point A...almost 2 hours late!! The stress from the ordeal has caused me medical issues as well as the inability to fully enjoy an event that I spent 2 years planning. Awful...unless you want to be disappointed, never use this company. read more

Driver went to the wrong airport and everyone missed their flight!! We chartered a bus from the hotel to Miami International Airport for 28 passengers. I called several times to make sure that there was an understanding about the flight departure times and the time the bus needed to reach the airport. The bus driver went to the WRONG airport, driving well outside of Miami Beach to Fort Lauderdale Airport, to turn around and drop off our passengers to late for anyone to make their flight. Not only did the company NOT take any responsibility or even apologize once, they claimed that the mistake was not that big of a deal. All charges were prepaid, including the tip - which was so important to the driver he took several minutes to call the dispatcher to make sure it was pre-paid before leaving, then had me sign the page that listed our destination with the amount of the tip he was supposed to receive. Obviously he was more interested in the tip that the destination!! The general manager hung up on me twice when I called to complain, and actually stated "I have you on speaker phone and we are all laughing at you." Do not let the prices fool you - I would not recommend anyone to use this service under any condition. Stay Away from Ace Tours and Transportation!!!! read more

I called their office to let them know that a bus of theirs (401) was blowing out black, disgustingly toxic, smelly smoke as it was going down the street. Unfortunately, I had to follow this bus through a residential road that had many stops, including school zones. By the time I was turning off, my eyes were watering and I was very sick to my stomach. The rude person (Marish, Maurice?) that answered the phone was so obnoxious and would not let me talk to anyone else. He stated that he would look into it because he does not want to have the bus break down, because that would cost the company thousands of dollars. I replied, I could care less about your finances, my concern is breathing that deadly smoke. He proceeded to tell me to get a hobby and that it has nothing to do with their company. Now, it does, their name is on the side of that bus. I follow city buses everyday to and from my job. None of those smell, or blow out what this bus was doing. If that is what all of their buses do, than drive them on the highways, not residential roads. Furthermore, I will be contacting more people about this, such as the news stations, the papers and school boards to figure out how to band your buses from these areas. I guess my new hobby is to make sure we don't have to breath in your wealth and die. Please let Maurice, Marish or whatever his name is that I have a hobby now. read more

Do not use this company!!! The customer service is horrible!! When I reserved my ride I was told that someone would be waiting for me when I landed. So when I landed and didnt see Ace Tours waiting for me I had to take another service. Then the company had the nerve to still bill me!!! When I called the back office the person I spoke to was the rudest most condescenging person I've ever spoke to. Talked to me like I was an idiot and hung up on me . I work for a very large company with thousands of frequent flyers. I'm making sure no one here has the displeasure of Ace Tours. We spent an hour driving around looking for a group of 18 who had no sticker. Finally found them and driver loaded and dropped them off first. This company is AWEFUL! As the person before me,I booked them because they were cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for! Do not use them, especially for groups! They refused to pick up travelers from my group, drivers complained to the attendees about not getting cash tips, their dispatch staff spoke rudely to our attendees (when they answered the phones), and they refused to apologize for the horrible service and still charged us for pick ups that they did not make. If there was a no star option Id be hitting that button. We booked a daytrip to Key West through www.destinationlauderdale.com with Ace Tours. Firstly the bus that was in the description with a restroom and tv screens was a figment of their imagination. Firstly the woman from the company got off the bus and tried an upsell on us. Two hours into the trip and at the halfway point on our rest break the bus broke down. We were left sitting in a McDonalds carpark for over three hours of our daytrip, while this shower wouldn't answer the phone to us or hung up on us. The obvious thing to do would have been put the 13 passengers in local taxi busses and get us there to do the trip we paid for but they refused to do that and eventually sent another bus taking hours to get there to take us on, eventually getting us there at 5.30 when all the activities were closed. The driver on the day James deserves to work for a company more professional than this lot given that they were even hanging up on him when he tried to sort it out. If you are booking daytrips through a 3rd party website ask the specific question "is Ace Tours providing this trip" and if the answer is "yes" save your time and head to the beach for the day instead of wasting it in a carpark being held hostage by these amateurs. read more

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. We arranged for transfer to the port terminal there. $8.00 per person. They were pretty well organized and the bus was nice and roomy. They also sold us return stickers for $10 per person. I was a bit hesitant because we had a late flight 7pm and I didn't want to go sit at the airport all day. The tour salesman arranged for us to be taken to the Hilton Garden so that we could go shopping nearby and then be taken to the airport later in the day . . again I was hesitant since we didn't stay at the hotel but they held our luggage and the shuttle to the airport left every hour on the hour for no add'l fee (just the original $10 we had paid). It all worked out great. Our first driver was hilarious and super fun, I don't recall her name. The man that picked us up at the pier was kind and professional. The shuttle driver to the airport seemed less than enthusiastic but we still got to the airport without incident and all was well. For the price, I would totally use them again! read more

The driver arrived on time for pickup, to the port the four of us had plenty of room, he even sold us a return trip to the airport after the cruise, great ideal, we picked up another couple from another hotel on our way to the port. The driver was excellent, very nice an friendly, he gave us stickers for our return trip which was $75, as was our cost to the port, the hotel got $10 an the shuttle got $65. Upon returning from our cruise it was cold an raining, traffic outside the dock was crazy, people returning an going on a cruise. As soon as we got our luggage we called the dispatch, told them who we were, an stated we were ready for the pickup......30 min passed, 45 min passed.....we made several calls. Dispatch states we are on our way, ........1 1/2 hours passed, remember it cold an raining an we are standing outside with very little shelter with suit cases. Finally we call them an they say, find another ride, were are stuck in traffic, we will refund you your money. Really!!! This is not ok, nor was it professional, an who are we suppose to call? an do we have another $75 to dish out,? Also keep in mind we all have flights to catch. After several more calls to the dispatcher, we suggested that they need to find us a ride, since they have our money. Finally another shuttle service picked us up. The driver was nice an felt bad for us, an we made it on time to the airport. Never will I ever prepay for this type of service, their are plenty taxi services an other shuttle companies, on hand for pickup when you get off the ship. We never got a phone call or apology from this company, it was a very stressful situation, to feel abandon after paying your money for a service. We were vacationing at the Palm Aire Resort in Pompano Beach last week and booked the Miami excursion for a sightseeing cruise of the stars' homes, visit to the marketplace and the South Beach/ Ocean Drive area. Palm Aire apparently contracts with Ace Tours and The cost per person was $79.00. It was raining cats and dogs from the time we left until the time we returned. My husband and I paid the driver/tour guide in cash and asked for a receipt, but were told by the driver that he didn't have any receipts to issue for cash transactions. Eleven persons booked the excursion. We were transported on a van which was supposed to have accommodated 14 or 15 passengers. It was a very tight and crowded ride. The driver/tour guide was very nice, but he had a very monotoned voice and had no microphone to use where passengers in the back of the van could hear and understand him as we traveled through the rainy freeway and streets trying to get a glimpse of whatever he was pointing out. The tour absolutely lost its structure after the sightseeing cruise. My husband and I and two others had taken that excursion before and had a great time. Was able to get off at South Beach and walk up and down Ocean Drive. I don't remember if Ace Tours Inc. was contracted by the resort during that time, but this trip was a real bummer and should have been cancelled due to the weather instead of charging the full price of the excursion and only getting half or less of what was paid for.
