Great service. Great food. Generous poor of wine. Great aviation memorabilia. Good place for a family.

A very home style and welcoming kinda place

Wow, talk about a diamond in the rough. Down home cookin that hits the spot. I'll have to take pics next time because I almost licked the plates clean! Had the Full-Tank breakfast and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The grits were excellent as was my omelette. The French toast was basic, but had the perfect amount of sugar and cinnamon to take to next level. The biscuit was a m a z i n g! Fluffy and light, perfect! I will definitely be back!!!

Well that's a cool ceiling lined with license plates

This is old time, locals dining extraordinary! Welcoming to us newbies which isn't a standard thing across the country. I had the country fried steak (side of green beans and corn on the cob) and my wife had two eggs, grits, French toast, biscuit (that's one meal folks! And way too much for her! It was all good stuff and apparently where everyone knows each other. If you're in Milton, it's much better than some chain.

I stopped here while traveling through. It looks more like a biker bar on the outside. Don't be dissuaded. Older diner where I suspect a lot of locals call home. Service was quick and the food was good.

    The BB's Breakfast

I came to this place for a goodbye brunch I had before I left my hometown to come back to my current town, Orlando. I came here with a bunch of guys around 9AM on a Saturday, and I was expecting it to be packed, but turns out it was actually not too bad, and we got seated right away. The atmosphere and decor of this place was simple and effective. They try really hard (or not too hard at all) to be the simple, down home, country joint that cooks good food. The menu covers were license plates, which is a super nice touch. So I ordered the thing that I have ordered every single time I have ever come here, the thing that I was brought to this restaurant for the first time for, the BB's Breakfast (2 biscuits covered with sausage, potatoes, scrambled eggs, and gravy). This thing sounds super Southernly decadent, and it is. The biscuits are made in house, and the gravy is just everywhere, but the taste isn't too overwhelming. It's more of a vessel for the sausage and potatoes and the eggs to live in. The sausage is crumbled and good and peppery. The potatoes are in big cubes and crispy and cooked all the way through. And the eggs are scrambled. Everything just comes together and made one scrumptious dish. I saw my friends' waffles that they ordered, and I got jealous and ordered one myself. Cooked fresh and just what you want a waffle to be. I washed down my meal with their sweet tea, which is super sweet, just like you'd expect in the South. Overall, this place is definitely an above average place if you want a nice, simple breakfast with no fancy stuff, and I definitely recommend this place if you're from around the area or even just visiting the Pensacola area. It's not too far out of the way.

This family restaurant makes a mean breakfast at a great price. The service was on point and food was served quickly. For the amount we paid, I think we got more than enough food for four, nevermind the fact it was just two of us! Definitely recommend their biscuits are gravy!

Catfish and shrimp was all you can eat tonight

To sum it up - good and cheap! We stumbled upon Ace's while staying in Florida for the night. Our first time visiting, they had an all-you-can-eat seafood buffet. I'm not big on buffets, but the food was all fresh and the selection was plentiful. We enjoyed it so much that we went back a few weeks later and ordered off the menu. On that visit, I had a country fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy and apple cobbler as the sides. It was enough food for two people and perfectly prepared. The service was fantastic. The prices were even better. I think we paid about $30 per visit. We'll certainly go back!

Hominy, hush puppies, cornbread, grits, Alabama white sauce on any meat, especially smoked chicken, are all popular in Alabama. BBQ is practically a religion in the South! As former certified Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS) certified judges, my husband and I completed the training and paid the fees to be certified. The "KCBS way" is different from a lot of people's preferences in that, for example, a BBQ rib should actually have some "pull" to it, meaning, when you bite into it, your mouth should leave a mark in the rib. This means "fall off the bones" ribs are not KDBS quality, despite how many love that rib consistency. The KCBS judges slots fill up so quickly and required us to travel at our own cost and we did not judge any KCBS events. Back to Southern food. Deep fried double Oreos are one of the many fried foods here in Huntsville, and Melt restaurant features them on their menu. Meat-and-Three restaurants feature a meat (usually fried pork chop, meatloaf, BBQ, fried catfish, country fried steak/chicken) and three sides (fried okra, creamed corn, mashed potatoes and gravy, baked potato, potato salad, cole slaw, French fries) and bread options such as cornbread, rolls, hush puppies. While Southern Cooking is absolutely delicious, I have to limit it because lets face it, it is high in calories and cholesterol. When I do indulge, it's shrimp and grits, pimento cheese, fried green tomatoes, and fried whole okra.

The service and attention to detail pleased all of our guests and owner, Scott, delivered and prepared everything perfectly.
