She needed some medical supplies that I couldn't find anywhere else, took way to long to deliver if I ordered it from Amazon or my moms insurance didn't cover. I know zero about wheelchairs, went to ACG to buy one. Long story short is the sales man ended up taking me into a used wheelchair. He said it was so rare to have used in such good condition and it was only $200. So I bought it and before I drove out of the parking lot I looked up the model and type of wheelchair online. There it was at Walmart for $118 brand new. So needless to say they are not very honest which is really sad when I was buying a wheelchair for someone that had one leg. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE!! employees are switching out name brand item they sale for $200 with $12 items. My parents were refered to them by their doctors office and paid $200 for leg wraps but the employee switched out the leg wraps with an ankle support wrap from walmart. Shady employees selling the name brand items on the side then replace the store items with walmart medical supplies and selling them as the $200 items. read more

We bought a Pride Mobility scooter at this location about a year and a half ago for my 95-year-old Mother. As soon as it was out of warranty, we've had nothing but issues with it stopping on her - she has to wait a few minutes and then it starts working again. No fault to ACG, I know they did make the scooter. However, they do repair them and I had to call them a fourth time today to request they come to look at it. The first time we were told the original battery was "Chinese" and that they were just bad quality so we paid $100 for a new one. The second time it stopped working, they came out and charged us the $125 service fee, which is fine, but that did not fix the issue. The third time I called, they came out and took it back to their shop. They told my mom they cleaned all the wiring and replaced a part with one from another brand new scooter. They have been very apologetic and understanding until I had to call today for the fourth time. I spoke with David, who was very nice before and seemed to be apologetic and willing to help get it fixed. He said this time he knew the issue was probably in the switch and that it needed to be replaced, and that they would have to charge $125 for the part. I reminded him that we have already paid $100 for a new battery and $125 for the second service call where they said they replaced a part, so why should we have to pay another $125 if it is still not fixed. David was very short with me talking over me in a loud tone as I tried to explain to him what the service advisors told my mom the last time it was returned to her. He said, "if you want the scooter fixed, you'll pay the $125 service fee for the new part". Apparently, we paid for a part before that did fix the problem, and now they want to charge us again. I'm very disappointed in this place and will NEVER do business there again. Luckily, we're able to purchase another new one at a different medical supply store, but I can't imagine an elderly person who doesn't have the funds to do so and get treated like this. read more

Amazing!!! The staff is so polite and helpful. I needed a simple machine and I was treated as though I were buying the most expensive. They explained how to use it before I left and answered all of my stupid questions without telling me they were such. Add to all of that that they are open until 8pm and are conveniently located in the Aldi shopping center and the intersection of Lakeview Parkway(SH66) & Rowlett Road and you have a new customer for all of my family's future medical supply needs. Highest of ethical standards!! They have helped my mother through the years to deal with her special needs. Over the past couple of years, we have purchased two wonderful lift chairs, which has made my mother's life much more comfortable. The second lift chair arrived damaged from the factory, which, of course, was not their fault. The manager (owner?) sent the chair back, and offered a loaner lift chair for my mother to use while we waited for the damaged one to be rebuilt! Yes, they delivered a similar chair, set it up, and when the newly built chair arrived, they returned and swapped the loaner out for the new one. No charge! Integrity? Over-the-top customer service?? Yes. They did not have to do that, but they voluntarily did. We couldn't be happier. read more

ACG Medical Supply didn't measure up AT ALL!! I had called them last week to see if someone was available to help me with my lift hitch on Saturday and was told it would be no problem. I didn't get a chance to get by there so I went today. There were 2 women at the counter and both were the rudest, most condescending and downright unfriendly people I've encountered in a long time. One of them acknowledged that I had spoken with her last week but informed me the mechanics are only on site every OTHER Saturday. I don't remember if she told me that when I spoke with her before or not but it was implied that I should have known and that I was a complete idiot because I didn't. Neither one of them ever once cracked a smile or bothered to thank me for coming in or even asked for my name & phone number to set up an appointment. This was a referral from a friend but I will NOT be back. I don't have time to waste on businesses who act like they are doing ME a personal favor just by talking to me. read more
