I chose this practice specifically because it advertised a holistic, root-cause approach focused on…read morelifestyle, nutrition, and understanding the drivers behind symptoms. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I spent significant time completing detailed intake paperwork before my appointment, but it appeared that information had not been reviewed beforehand. Despite seeking help for persistent flushing symptoms, foot pain that was limiting activity, and overall health optimization, there was very little discussion about my current nutrition, daily routines, sleep habits, exercise, symptom triggers, or the progress I had already made through lifestyle changes. Most of the appointment focused on reviewing lab values and recommending supplements. I left feeling that recommendations were made before a meaningful understanding of my current lifestyle, health practices, and symptom patterns had been established. To be fair, the provider spent considerable time with me and later responded to my feedback. However, the care I received felt much more focused on lab interpretation and supplement recommendations than the lifestyle-based, root-cause investigation I was expecting based on how the practice was represented. Patients looking primarily for lab review and supplement guidance may find value here. Those seeking an in-depth lifestyle, nutrition, and root-cause evaluation should clarify exactly what that process looks like before scheduling.

Based on Yelp reviews, I decided to give acupuncture a try. This office had the best reviews. I met with Dr Lily and she explained the process quite well. Not what I expected, but she started with "cupping" first. It was painless and actually I fell asleep during it. She explained thoroughly the results and followed it up with more cupping and acupuncture in the same session. She took her time to answer my questions and I was very happy with the results. On a side note...this helped me and has brought my sciatic issues almost to a complete solution. I'll definitely be back again and again.

I am thoroughly impressed with their knowledge and skill. It has made a huge difference for me in terms of anxiety, sleep, pain, allergies, and getting my body regulated for pregnancy. I'm sad there they aren't in Houston, but I really miss these doctors! Cleanliness: The team does a great job with sanitizing and protecting each patient after use. I appreciate the level of thought that goes into ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the facility. Pricing: They have pricing for individual visits ($85 per session) but they also offer packages, which is a great discount (I think it comes to about $65 per session depending on the package for acupuncture).

Throughout the past year I've been able to try their salt therapy room, vitamin shot, whole body vibration machine and foot detox. The salt therapy room was a cool experience and I loved that they had Bluetooth speakers inside the cubicle. I tried their whole body vibration machine today which was a wierd but cool experience. After a couple of minutes I tried a couple of the suggestive poses and became comfortable with the whole body vibration machine. Through the various treatments I've noticed my body feels better and soreness level is reduced as I tend to come here after a workout. The ladies at the front are sweet and friendly. I look forward to my next visit.

I scheduled a full body thermography, so there was a lot of prep involved. They don't want anything to interfere with the results, which I totally get. My appointment went well, but there was some confusion as to my appointment to review the report. After a bunch of back and forth, I decided to just have my doctor (a certified smarty pants aka DO!) review it. All in all, I would still go back and try other services. I really want a detox foot bath!

Will not be returning, DO NOT come here!.. The full…read moreexperience was a bad one from almost start to finish. There was no notification of a $35 mandatory membership fee or $65 charge for a 15 minute consult. That is a ridiculous charge for a less than 10 minute conversation. Either way, it was not explained to me until after I had the treatment. They made me sign a blank sheet, and then put a price on it later. Seemed shady at first, but I thought I'd move forward with it. The total cost of the treatments was not explained well, and what I thought was a $350 charge turned into $520... As far as the level of service, I've never had someone scare me while giving me an I.V. However, on several occasions, I questioned the skill level of the lady who was trying to hook me up. She wound up sticking me multiple times to get a vein, and in the end needed help from someone else. She accidentally shot a large amount of Ozone into my ears which made the headset she didn't know how to use right out of both ears. I am not exaggerating, it felt like someone shooting air into both ears. I'm glad there wasn't serious damage, it just scared the crap out of me! There were more issues, but this review would take much longer than needed. I think you get the picture. I called in the next day to complain and see about getting some sort of discount, and the "director" would only refund the $65 consult and the $20 Tincure (liquid in glass eye dropper). So My RIDICULOUS $640 initial charge turned into $555. I would have let this go, but I was ripped off, and the terrible level of service did not come close to the price. My recommendation is to NOT COME HERE! Julie, the lady I was dealing with on the phone sounded genuinely concerned, and tried to help get me some money back. However, the Director decided it was only worth an $85 discount, so as a concerned member of the community, I had to let everyone know to stay away from this place! Did I mention the lady almost got air straight into my vein when she was finishing up? If it wasn't for the 2nd lady standing there to reach over and point out the liquid was out and air was running to the needle, I'm not sure what would have happened. I know air in the blood stream can't be good! Thanks to the 2nd lady for being there! Notice I'm using the word lady instead of nurse. This is because there is NO WAY these people are nurses! I've attached a pic of my bill so you know that I'm not some angry ex-boyfriend or some lunatic.

I believe Alive and Well has strong potential to deliver an exceptional experience; however, I…read morecontinue to feel disappointed by the level of service provided, particularly given the amount I invest as a client. To date, I have spent several thousand dollars across their services - I am currently enrolled in the Elite Family membership ($400/month), have purchased the functional medicine package ($500), and have also transitioned my medspa services (e.g., botox, etc.) to their practice. While the membership offerings themselves are appealing, the overall experience has been inconsistent. For example, the locker room amenities frequently fall short of expectations. In the evenings, the water is often empty, which may seem small but is not in line with the standard one would expect from a "luxury" facility - especially one that includes a sauna. Additionally, my boyfriend has experienced similar issues in the men's locker room, including a lack of available towels. These recurring issues detract from the overall experience. My functional medicine appointment was a positive experience. Rebecca provided a thoughtful and comprehensive review of my bloodwork along with actionable recommendations. However, the follow-up experience has been frustrating. When I reach out through the patient portal with questions, the responses tend to focus on promoting additional memberships rather than addressing my specific concerns. For example, when I recently inquired about peptides, I was directed toward a peptide membership rather than receiving straightforward guidance. I prefer a model where I can pay for services as needed, without the pressure to enroll in ongoing memberships. Overall, it feels as though the business model is heavily centered around enrolling clients in multiple memberships, which makes it difficult to access continued care without additional commitments. This approach has impacted my experience and may ultimately influence whether I continue seeking services with Alive and Well. Medspa services with Kelly are great. She listens and gives great guidance! If you are strictly going for the spa (sauna, cold plunge, massages, facials), it is a beautiful and relaxing environment. However, if you plan to add the functional medicine package, the experience may shift from relaxing to frustrating due to persistent upselling and pressure to enroll in additional memberships.

Sarah has over 7 years of experience and is not only good at what she does but you can tell that she loves her work and takes time to perfect her craft. It is also extremely rare to find a quality beautician who does not oversell procedures and treatments. Sarah gives great recommendations that enhances your natural beauty and that is what I love about her work. This new facility has everything you can dream of: cold plunges, IV drips, massages, body treatments, oxygen tanks and much more. They even have a meditation room for sound baths! Their sauna was still under construction when I stopped by to see Sarah last week but I'm excited to try all their amenities in the near future. I can't speak for their membership program as I exclusively see Sarah for treatments but that's also an option for people who see themselves going to med spas frequently. They also have their own in house pharmacy full of supplements and other holistic/natural heath goodies.
