Recently the fuel tank cover on my car snapped off in my hand. I called the dealership, as I've taken my car there for years, and after being left on hold for 30 minutes, was told I'd have to order my own part, it would be over $200 for the repair, and they weren't sure when they could get me in. Fortunately a lot of neighbors on Nextdoor recommended ACM Auto Body, so I called and explained my situation. I was told they could absolutely fix it, and to bring in my car. I ordered the part, and dropped by so they could see it in person, and Ramon told me it would be a snap, and scheduled me for a couple of days later. I showed up for my appointment, and they were expecting me. Said I was more than welcome to sit and read while I waited. And I kid you not, they finished the repair before I even finished one chapter. I was beyond shocked. And the price was amazing. Great shop. Great employees. I took my 2012 CTS V to ACM after it got hit on the drivers door because I had previously taken my 2001 Corvette when it needed to have the door replaced after someone bent it back and cracked the fiberglass. They matched the paint on that 18 year old Vette so well that I knew they would do as good a job on the Caddy and they did. One of the best experiences I've had with an auto body shop (and I've unfortunately had my share of experiences)! I was too busy thinking about the upcoming Thanksgiving dinner I was hosting while I was driving and didn't realize the SUV in front of me had stopped. I rear-ended the SUV and its trail hitch "stabbed" the OEM grill of my 2015 Audi A4. While unfortunate, I thought I could make the best of the situation and replace the grill with a custom one purchased online especially since the OEM Audi replacement cost 3x as much. I went to multiple shops with the idea of the custom grill - all of whom seemed to be more interested in making more money off of my insurance company vs. helping me fix my car for a reasonable price. Fortunately, someone on NextDoor strongly recommended ACM. Ramon was awesome and clearly knowledgeable. He replied to my call quickly, talked me through multiple options, and worked with me to get my custom grill in. ACM scheduled me in quickly and did a bang-up job on replacing the grill with the one I wanted. All for a reasonable labor rate. This place did a FANTASTIC job covering up a terrible dent I had on the passenger side of my car. The dent stretched across both doors (front and back) and was located right in the middle of the door. It was a dent you could see from miles away. Went to MANY places to get a few different quotes - how much to paint over it? how much to replace both doors? At the time, I could not afford to replace both doors to fix the dent, so the best I could do was to get it touched up with paint. It was started to rust and I did not want the rust to damage the door. Went to ACM and they quoted me $120 to paint over the dent and to fix a few scratches on the front bumper. When I got the car back, the front looked brand new. It was BEAUTIFUL! The dent, while still there, is no where near as noticeable. Amazing what a little paint can do! GREAT JOB ACM!!! :) read more

This place was amazing! It's so hard to find a place that does great work and is trustworthy. My young son decided to scratch his name on my sister's black Tacoma with a rock! I called around a ton of places and ACM got back to me quickly, and with a detailed quote. We brought the car in and Ramon took one look and said we didn't need to do a total paint job, it could probably be buffed and polished out. I was blown away by his honesty and wanting to go that route first! So many places could have taken advantage of me and Ramon did not. This review is long overdue. About two years ago I had the bumpers of my car painted. I dealt with the owner who was courteous, quoted a fair price, completed the work on time and did a great job. A couple of weeks ago I had an insert of the bumper fall out and I took it back to the shop. His son was there, he was very courteous, fixed it immediately and did not charge me! Wow; all these five star reviews are absolutely true. I've had a couple vehicle challenges over the past year. First, my son hit a pole in my old 2001 GMC truck. I took it to a couple places asking for a simple repair but they all only gave me the top dollar repair amount as if this was a new vehicle! ACM offered a modest job appropriate for this old vehicle and they exceeded my expectations and save me thousands of dollars. Then, another family memeber got a dent in the side of a brand new Rav4. ACM offered three alternatives; we went with the middle one, and the job looks absolutely flawless on a hard to match color. A+ customer service, A+ quality. I needed to get my front bumper repainted but it has a hard color to match (QX-1). Many people I knew were going to OC/LA to get their work done but I didn't want to drive that far. A car forum member in LA had mentioned ACM as the place for SD folks to go so I decided to check them out. I met with the owner, Ramon, and he quoted me a great price so I decided to get my door handle repainted and bodykit installed as well. I expressed my concern for the color match so he showed me his color samples. We discussed what looked the best and he went to work. They kept in regular contact with picture updates and provided a lot of feedback. My bumper ended up needing a lot more work than we first thought, but they stood by their original quote.
