Re-installed windows and sliding glass door incorrectly installed by previous contractor. Rebuilt pressure treated wood deck with improved layout. Derrick's attention to detail and pride in his work translated to a solution that addressed all of my goals and helped me understand mistakes made by previous contractors. We tried to figure out how to get it back on ourselves - we read articles, watched youtube videos, but we couldn't get it and were worried about breaking the door. Moreover, Weather Shield suggested using better, more expensive siding materials at no cost to me, and also, added third siding. I was speechless. I had my doubts, why would they do all these nice things to me maybe they got overpaid. I compared their prices to other companies, and it was about 30% cheaper. They are just hardworking people who run small business and make their clients happy. This is not it. The owner of the company and the manager were on site every single day, including Saturday and Sunday, supervising the work at all times. I thought what the heck I can't leave just one side (front) the way it is, now it looks ugly. Can it be covered by stones, is it expensive? And again, I was surprised, it was really affordable, and they suggested to pay at the end if I am satisfied by the end of the work. My house looks really beautiful now. I also had some inside jobs that needed to be done with no relevance to this project, and I asked them for a quote. Some jobs they did for free, and others at a very low price.
