I went to the store Josh is a super great guy made me feel like i wasn't crazy but Renae said in front of me "i told you not to show or tell her" . after talking she made me feel like the ring i chose was stupid. said the base is to small diamonds are going to knock out everyone comes in for that issue it wasn't worth it and the ring they ordered is bigger and better but if i wanted they can order the ring i want but it would take 4-6 weeks again. only reason i didn't go with that is because i dont have 4-6 weeks to wait he had a plan and time frame a very tight one. if she offered a rush on the order i would have said yes let's get my dream ring but no this screwed this exciting step for us up. There was no apologies just a simple this ring is bigger and better and he shouldn't have showed me in the first place. I want the ring I chose but i feel like if we were to order it it still wouldn't be what I imagined and hoped for. I thought they specialized in custom rings and had a in house jeweler but the ring i got wasn't my custom one just one order off of Gabriel. They completely lost my trust , there was no paper or records on the ring so we decided we had to get it appraised to make sure one thing was right. Unfortunately we won't be coming back for our wedding bands. Josh was a great jeweler and helped me imagine and customize my dream ring . He gave me some options and I left the rings there on a Friday afternoon and I received a message that they were ready for pick-up on Tuesday. A different fellow rang me up and he was just as friendly and professional as Billy. But WOW. My rings look stunning. Absolutely dazzling and better than the day that they were new. It wasn't a cheap fix, to size the 2 bands up but it's worth it so that I can wear them, at least until I decide if I want to re-design them into a different style sometime down the road, which they told me they do at More Than Diamonds too. They had a great selection and the best prices for the item I was looking for. I was able to purchase a $4600 bracelet for $1695.00. The $4600 was comparable to other jewelers I had priced the same bracelet and carat weight, so I got a great deal and value for my money. After giving her the bracelet, we brought it in to have it sized to fit her wrist, and they had to send it off. With the diamonds that required removing, they created a set of dangly diamond earrings for her that perfectly matched the bracelet. Zales offers a diamond bond and lifetime diamond warranty that requires the bracelet to be inspected and cleaned every six months. With the exception of the store closing during COVID-19 in 2020, we have kept up with this and taken the bracelet in for the inspection. The staff has always been helpful, friendly, and courteous in our dealings and visits. They thoroughly inspect the item I purchased from them, document the inspection and cleaning, and offer to clean her other jewelry at no charge each time we come in. Every experience we have had with Zales has been five-star and we have recommended them to many other people who have relocated to Dawsonville.
