The Hefeweizen was delicious! Better than the popular brand I buy at grocery stores. I never dreamed I would rant about an egg salad sandwich. But holy cow. It was amazing. Rough chopped egg, with pieces of pickle, rather than relish. The sourdough bread was toasted, & there was a nice cut of cheddar & lettuce. The staff was busy, but friendly & accommodating. I was passing through for work and looking for a dinner spot. I consider myself a pumpkin ale connoisseur and damn if this is not the BEST pumpkin ale I have ever tasted. Seriously SO GOOD. It is hard to find in season let alone in March. I was floored to see it on the menu so I had to have it. I was not disappointed. I ordered a PB & J - it just sounded good. Seriously where can you get a $5 sandwich WITH chips? And then the pumpkin was phenomenal. The Hazy was equally delicious. The staff was kind of like Cheers, it's a local spot and regulars sit at tables playing cards and board games. The owner sat at the bar chatting with the locals. Cute brewery in the Edgewood area with good service! We came here for a mid-day beer and lunch early into parental leave. It's super close to home, so we knew we wanted to give them a try and see if we'd be finding a new favorite! Love the atmosphere - it's comparable to that of any small brewery, really, but we love that vibe! Also a fan of the large bearded dragon they keep here. My older kids would love to see him! Food and beer missed the mark for me a little bit. The Italian sandwich was decent but a little bland, and the beer just wasn't my favorite. That said, that could just be a me thing and others may love it! I tried one of the IPAs and wasn't blown away. Since this cute spot is so close to home, we do plan on returning and trying more beers to see if any strike our fancy a little more! read more

The establishment is spilt into two sections; one for under 21, and one for 21 and over. The bar serves some liquor choices, but they are known for their beer selection. I would tell you what to order, but the beer menu changes often. When in doubt, just ask the person behind the bar. You tell them what you like, and they tell you what you should buy. We learned about them at a beer festival in Seattle and stopped by on our way home from Oregon. It was a bit out of the way, but it was so worth it. She was easy to talk to and made simple recommendations where I could find a menu. Like the persons hand behind me lol. I ordered the Cuban sandwich which was a good representation of the actual sandwich. The beers I ordered was the ipa that wasn't the hazy. Then I preceded to order the dry cider from Cockrell. I was able to read my book and enjoy the fun times being had around me. Plus the bartender had keen eyes to notice something about me that totally surprised me. Great job overall. read more

Auburn class of 72 meets around the south end for lunch and we decided to give it a shot. Upon arrival it wasn't busy yet but soon the patrons started to arrive. Started off with one of their beers and was very impressed with a crisp cold beer while waiting for my friends. Plenty of seating in and outside. My friends arrived and shared in the libations, all pleased with their choices. Lunch menu is limited to sandwiches, hot or cold. I had a roast beef and it was very fresh and flavorful. The roast beef was plentiful and a nice medium rare. The bread was especially good. The server was pleasant and made sure all were satisfied. A great new discovery not only for beer but for food as well. The town of Edgewood needed some brewery love and so I'm glad to see one open up here. Steve and I got a few beers here which we really enjoyed. I got a amber beer here which was really enjoyable and we split their mocha porter which was excellent also. Steve got one of their IPA's which was very good too. Acorn Brewing also serves sandwiches and they are excellent! I got a panini which was delightful and Steve got an amazing reuben with kimchi in it which was fantastic! His sandwich was very unique! The taproom itself was nice, quiet and relaxing. The service was friendly and prompt. I would love to make more strolls over to Acorn Brewing to try more of their sandwiches and their beer! read more

Stopped in for a quick sandwich after wine tasting next door. "Quick" was not on the menu. The place was packed and it was obvious the three people working were overwhelmed. They had 8-10 craft brews on tap. They did let our group who were drinking try a few before deciding what to order. Unfortunately no one was overly excited about any of the choices. This is not the place for a good meal. The grilled cheese (for the vegetarians) came with bacon even though we specifically said NO when asked if we wanted to add it. This is my first time exploring the city of Edgewood and let me just say I'm loving so far! My girlfriend and I were next door for wine tasting and they were not open yet so we decided to go into acorn brewing so kill some time. This place is so cute and cozy. They also have food which always a bonus. Their sandwiches are so dang good!!! I had the kimchi Ruben and I was mind blown!! It was so delicious and creative. We also had the blueberry cider and it was very tasty! One bottle is enough for two glasses so definitely sharable. They also have tons of board games which I love! Cool place in Edgewood. They had a Hawaiian food truck serving ono food that day and drove down/up from Puyallup. Didn't know much about the place but really clean inside, plenty of parking and good beer/cider selection. I tried the Hef and loved it. Can bring in outside food but I believe they have a food selection but didn't try this time. Table games available. Keep a eye out for the rotating food trucks heading into the warmer weather. This brewery had many sandwiches listed on their online menu so we went there thinking our vegetarian would have something tasty to eat as well. When we arrived there were only 4 choices and they were the brat, grilled cheese, Cuban and the kimchi rueben. We ordered everything except the Rueben. The brat and grilled cheese were not good. The Cuban was decent. The beer menu is great and they have homemade root beer there that is delicious. They had live music on the dog friendly back patio. It was way too loud and honestly awful. My brother and I stopped in last month randomly to try it out, because we had never been. The owner is awesome and very informative about his beers, which were tasty. He clearly has regulars as he knew everyone's name. Large tables for sitting, with seating areas spaced out due to COVID requirements. The bathroom is great, Ladies! Though, I was clearly more impressed than my brother. It's not fancy per se, it's just way nicer than you'd think it would be in such a small establishment. Nice fixtures. There's some merchandise for sale -I bought a t-shirt and it fits like a glove with no shrinking in the wash. I am told that on Tuesdays and I think Fridays there are food trucks that come to the parking lot. There is apparently some food that can be ordered, but limited options as he is clearly running a Brewery and not a diner. Whatever he was cooking up sure smelled good though! I'm sure planning on making the trip back as soon as I can. If you're local, you should be visiting regularly. read more
