Getting off of a 16 hour shift, and just wanting to spend a bit of quality time with your spouse close to home and have a conversation with out having to worry about anything was truly interrupted. Felt like we were rushed out. The restaurant was not busy, granted there was the fife high baseball team, but they were not being loud. There was enough staff and we were just trying to eat, have some drinks and just enjoy each others company . But once we were serve our food, and my husband ate his food, while I was trying to eat mine, we kept getting interrupted, check dropped off and it was no where near closing time. When I asked for a box to go, the box I was given was soaked through with who knows what as we were being rushed out with my meal unfinished. I had to go and ask for another one. This is the second time this happens. January 19 2026 I went and had lunch with a friend of mine and my daughter and the waitress interrupts us mid conversation half way eating our food to tell us her shift was over and if we could pay. It seems that she was more eager about rushing us out of the restaurant even though there was no one waiting in order to count her tips. Pleasantly surprised when we tried this place for the first time. Others are 3 star. Good parking, great service, and good food. They had minimal staff as we were there between lunch and dinner. We just ate there today and absolutely love this place! Service incredible, food wonderful. They have Icy Drop drinks that are excellent. Great lunch specials as well as happy hour prices. We have been to quite a few Hops n Drops location, and I think this might be my favorite. I think it might be new since they still have a now open sign outside the building, but that really does not make a difference. The service was some of the best we've ever had at any Hops n Drops, we were seated right away and greeted very quickly. The server asked if it was anyone's first time, and it was my mom's first, so he said we could have some free potato chips to sample. We loved this, since at some point it was my husband and I's first time, and we were never given the free first time chips. The chips were GAS, like honestly one of the best potato chips ever, they were so fresh and crispy and had the perfect flavor. We then ordered some more appetizers, which were all amazing, as well as the drinks we ordered. We had been disappointed with the sweet and spicy sriracha at the last location that we went to, but it was absolutely perfect here. Our server checked on us the perfect amount, and we were never left wondering where he was or without something that we wanted. Only reason for not 5 stars is that there are no vegan options other than chips, salad with items omitted, and a couple of appetizers. Likewise, few vegetarian options. The food is so reasonably priced and delicious and drinks are fantastic. Everything is brought quickly and is fresh. If you order fries, they'll be hot and if you order the donut holes, they're fresh and warm. The service is prompt and delightful. We have been there a couple times when there weren't enough wait staff and we had to wait a few minutes for our order to be taken, but that's understandable. Life happens. But it's not the norm. Give it a chance and I hope you like it as much as we do. read more

First let me say, so excited to have them in Milton. We have eaten at other locations. Ok so here we go The Good- 1. 100% the food, it was fresh, fast and spot on. As I mentioned we have eaten at other locations and this blew all previous experiences out of the water. The only minor negative was the onions in the French onion soup were slightly undercooked. I am looking forward to trying more of their menu items. 2. The service, Our waiter was a super nice guy, he gave us good suggestions, tried to make sure we got happy hour prices where he could and was prompt with refills. We had greeters at the door and other servers checked on us too if they passed by. Ok the negatives And I am giving stars based on above but have to mention these issues I saw with the hope of improvements 1. This is a small location and as such the set up isn't great for passing space or ADA. I would not bring my nephew in a wheelchair here or my mother with a walker, as I watched one gentleman struggle to find a way to maneuver his wheel chair to be at the table. If it wasn't full there would be a couple tables that would work ok but when full you couldn't count on those spaces being available 2. They are obviously training staff so they seemed to have a lot of staff lingering around tables. However, when a young child playing on her chair knocked it backwards, hitting her head on a cement floor, not a single staff person seemed to notice the loud thud and check in on the screaming child. It was a super hard hit and I would have liked to see a manager at least check in with the table to make sure the child was ok. read more

We've been to this location about 5 times now and honestly it just progressively gotten worse each time. Tonight takes the cake though and we won't be returning. We had a burger, French dip, a side salad, an iced tea, and a soda, it was 60 dollars before the tip! Crazy, but the kicker is the food was absolutely horrible. The burger was so overcooked it was like sand, dry, burnt, gritty, sand. The French dip had no flavor, none, and the horseradish sauce they serve it with was just as flavorless and not spicy at all. The only good thing was the fries and the server was super nice. Our food last time was bad as well, but we decided to give it another go, I really wish we hadn't. Been to few other hops n drops seen this one take over the old Arby's thought we should give it a try after the holiday expo in puyallup. Inside imo still feels like a fast food restaurant even with the upgrades. It's fresh & revamped but I still get the fast food restaurant vibe. Service was okay our waiter was okay hence the 3 stars. 3 stars why ? We asked for a to go meal to take to someone else after we were heading out & they brought us that before we even got our food the young person who brought it out just plopped it down & turned away before we could say anything, manager did fix the issue but asked for no onions & they smothered it in onions our waiter then asked us what the problem was like he was trying to make sure he didn't mess anything up but made us uncomfortable. The manager was pretty good but other workers didn't seem very enthusiastic with working there. Tables so close by basically sitting on top of each other these little kids on their first date I could hear them obnoxiously the whole time thankfully no one sat next to us or we would be eating family style. The food was 3 stars (yeah again) usually like other locations I get the steak salad my mom had gotten a burger & it was falling apart before she could even pick it up. Honestly will not go back to this location the BL one is better but overall hops n drops is so mediocre probably just won't go to any of them anymore doesn't do much for me, id rather just spend the same price at fast food restaurants eating mediocre food & avoid all of this. read more
