Initial consultation was good and began treatments to help with realignment and better overall health. The staff are extremely friendly and supportive. Several years ago I was in a car accident, and needed to go to a chiropractor. Truth be told, I wasn't sure if chiropractic was a true benefit to health as some say. But I was in pain, and my attorney advised that I get a work-up. It's now 2020, and I've been a patient here for over five years. Dr Dave isn't just concerned with your physical health. He's a whole mind/body practitioner with lots of knowledge and experience, and he also has the MOST important quality that any health care expert can possess. He cares. I mean, he REALLY cares. He wants to know how things are at home. He wants to know about your diet, your activities, your passions. He let you know that he was thinking about you over the weekend, he remembers a joke he wanted to tell you, he recommends a movie on Netflix that he thinks you might like. There's often a bowl of fruit on the front counter so you can grab a tangerine or a banana. There's always pleasant music playing in the background. The magazines in his waiting area are interesting and current. This is a doctor who has committed his life to caring for others, he knows he's in it for the long-haul, and he wants to do it right. Part of doing it right is surrounding yourself with capable, pleasant coworkers. Tamara is his assistant, and if she ever leaves his employ I'm gonna have to reconsider everything. She's half of the reason that my visits are so fun. Never a visit goes by that we don't share a laugh. She's extremely professional, and yet not pompous or stuffy, and never makes you feel like you're just a patient. She's a whiz with records and appointments, including text messages to make sure you're coming. (There's also usually another person who works as an assistant, but they are usually interns and I won't include their names here because I'd like this review to remain timely, but rest assured every one of them has been super-friendly.) In addition to the spectacular customer service and care, Dr Dave regularly has an educational component in the form of FREE lectures and workshops, replete with complementary meals! Who else does this?!? Even when I don't have an appointment, I enjoy stopping by, poking my head inside the door and saying hello. THAT'S the kind of people they are. Even as my health improves and I work towards becoming completely pain-free and limber, I will ALWAYS be a client, and so should YOU. When you come in, introduce yourself to fellow patients. So, first off I'm a "fix it myself " kinda guy. After 20 years of suffering through various degrees of back pain from ahh it hurts a bit, to Geez I can't stand sit or walk without pain, I found Acosta Chiropractic. The single best thing I did for myself in 2018 was come in to see Dr. Acosta. I was able to walk-in and waited for Dr. Acosta for less than 10 minutes before we began our consult. Dr. Acosta is a great chiropractor! I've been seeing him for about a week and from the beginning I felt like he cared about the pain I was suffering. He's knowledgeable and eager to get you back in shape. He explains the treatment very well and informs you about your spine and bones using models. Updated review: While the service was great, I have come back to update my review as my experience with Acosta Chiropractic did not end well. Once my settlement was completed, my attorney negotiated my medical bills with all of the medical professionals I visited during the process of my injury. Every medical professional agreed to their payout, aside Doctor Dave. Dr. Acosta also demanded to see proof of the settlement from my attorney due to him not believing the settlement amount all while asking for more than what was being worked out with the negotiation for payout. Dr. Dave would not budge until I had to personally call him. What made me even more upset was that fact that I paid over $700 out of pocket using care credit to cover my wellness fees. Dr. Acosta said to me multiple times during the injury process "you can use your settlement money to cover your after care costs" (meaning my treatment with him after the settlement) I was more than happy to do so until I found out I would receive not even enough to cover the out of pocket cost (debt) I accumulated for my wellness care that Dr. Acosta recommended for me to do. When I explained my situation to Dr. Acosta he stated that "he has a business to run and employees to pay". An absolute slap in the face. Dr. Acosta then reduced his cost by a small percentage. Other doctors, as well as my attorney had their right to pay outs as well, so I was essentially left with just about enough to cover the cost of my debt and very little to seek treatment elsewhere. While my pain was for the most part gone, chiropractic care is something that needs to be maintained, and I am unfortunately am at a loss of money to cover my medical costs in the future regarding my back and neck pain from my accident. I have used to same attorneys in the past for a previous collision I was in years back, and I did not experience this backlash from any medical professionals. At the end of it all I felt like I brought business to Dr. Dave as he walked away with a good hunk of the settlement money, as well as the $700+ I spent out of pocket. All in all this is a learning lesson to be more aware and to do-more research when seeking care in regard to accidents. I essentially feel like I was a paycheck to Dr. Acosta and much less a valued patient at the end of this process as I feel taken advantage of. Very unfortunate situation especially being that I'm a young 25 year old woman who has bills to pay, school, and work to manage. I was hoping to using my settlement money to continue treatment as my pain has come back since stopping treatment. A good hunk of my settlement money would have been used for treatment, and it is unfortunate Dr. Dave did not see it that way. I believe I had about 30 visits, and Dr. Acosta charged over $6,000+ in bills for said visit with about 2-3 x rays in between. I had no special adjustments, just basic adjustments. After doing the math I was charged about 200 give or take for each visit which is a complete scam. Very disappointed and will not be using his services again. On the plus side, the ladies in the office were lovely and very kind! read more

Decided to finally check this place out after having lived with lower back pain for the past five years. After getting an x-ray to find out what was going on with my back, he gave a thorough explanation of what was going on with my lower back and then talked about costs for treatment. I've been going for about a month and a half now, two times a week. I can honestly say that I sleep better at night and don't feel as much of a strain in the lower area as I used to. Hopefully a future x-ray will show me that these adjustments have made my lower back a lot better and that it wasn't a waste of time! Dr. Dave came off as nice guy, but for me however, it didn't feel very genuine. Seemingly he wanted to sell me his services more than help me as a patient. After a consult and X-ray ($50). I met up with him again to discuss what he found. He explained to me what he thought was going on & told me he created a treatment plant for me. He showed me a white piece of paper where he had written in marker what he wanted to do, it seemed as he wrote that it up right before I got there & it looked very unprofessional. His treatment plan consisted of him telling me what we both already knew.. a goal of decreasing pain. He didn't explain how he would do this. Immediately after a 30 second explanation of my treatment plan, he proceeded to talk about numbers. He quoted me at about $2000 for 5 weeks! He told me if I paid up front he would give me a massive discount. I told him I would think about it and proceed with one adjustment that day. He had 3 other people in the room who were getting adjusted as well. Everyone got the exact same adjustment! A few neck cracks, back, and hip cracks all which took less that 2 mins! ($70) There was no personal treatment for these various patients! He contacted me again for my next appointment and when asked if I could make it I said no, he asked if I would like to reschedule and I also said no. As soon as he learned I was no longer interested in his services I got no response. Not even a why I decided to stop going, or a sorry for it not working out, nothing! Dr. Dave seems to be more of a business man than a chiropractor. Not a good fit for me. read more

Very unhappy with our visit. If you are a student living off your parents insurance THIS IS YOUR CHIROPRACTOR! I took my mother in law to this chiropractor because over the phone he promised he'd take care of her. Well the phone conversation lead to an estimate between 30-70 dollars... I had communicated the fact that we would be taking her to er because her pain was so bad, but she decided a chiropractor would be the solve.......... at the visit 97dollars is what the fee for x-rays we were told he was unsure if he could take her as a patient unless he saw them... Understandable..... Untill after we paid they sent us home apperantly xrays take a couple of days to process ...... Went home with worse pain due to having to move more and NO TREATMENT! I made it perfectly clear the reason we were not going to er was for his treatment! the following visit post-xrays came with a 4month process of treatments equiling the amount of $1000.00+.... She did however have the option of $60 visits. my mother in law pleaded for a lower cost due to the fact that she is on lower income. And did not have the money for the visit she was already there for...... Sure the package came with nutrition information, kangan water (my husband owns a kangan water machine)......
