Frank did my pedicure and was amazing! While Alex did my Turkish bath and I appreciated every second of it. Incredible experience. Marco, Mark, Fer Adrian and everyone from the front desk and all staff were incredibly professional and polite. Very impressed with every element of the business. I got the facial, Swedish massage, Turkish bath and pedicure. All done perfectly. I was there four hours and it fly by. So I looked up spas and relaxation places. Found Acqua and Hammam. I ended up choosing Acqua and wow. It was AMAZING! Got the body scrub and massage. First time having a body scrub but I will definitely try something like this again. Staff knew the clientele they tend to, but were completely professional. The massage was the best I had while in PV. All in all it was more on the pricey side compared to just getting a massage somewhere else but seriously would easily pay this price due to the services they provided being top notch. I had the Vichy body scrub, makes your skin very smooth, feel clean and refreshed afterwards, they have a couple of options to choose from depending on your taste, I had the oatmeal and almond. Really enjoyed my Turkish Steam Bath with Gilberto Sánchez this morning. He was so sweet and kind and professional. Look, PV if full of "that kind" of place if you're looking for it... but if you're looking for something that's like a Burke Williams or Gendarmerie, but the Puerto Vallarta version, safe and clean and legit, this is the place. VERY reasonably priced considering everything comparable. Will return, quite possibly tomorrow, for another service. read more

Went here for my birthday in November 2025. I had a wonderful experience. First, I had a deep tissue massage with Rodrigo. He gave a good massage. I'm someone who when I get my haircut, I like to see that I've had a haircut. Same with a massage. I want to feel it so I had Rodrigo use heavy pressure. Note to self, next time not so hard. I still felt it a couple of days later, but that was on me, I asked for heavy pressure. Next, I had a Matcha, Lemongrass & Aloe Vichy Body Scrub. This was my first time having this treatment and I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. You leave your swim trunks at the door and go full commando for this relaxing and stimulating shower. It is exfoliating and refreshing. David did a great job. I felt totally exhilarated afterwards. Finally, I had an amazing facial with Mark. So nice. So many sensations and Mark had the perfect touch. I hadn't had a facial in a long time and I will definitely be back to get another soon. The staff was friendly and professional. The locker room was well appointed and clean. They had fruit infused water in the lobby, WIFI and even gave me a small tote bag with the Acqua logo on it for my birthday - a very nice gesture and a memorable visit to the spa. Went to this for a massage and my upper back and neck was so sore the next day. He was too hard and unskilled at loosening the muscle before working out the knots. The place was nice and clean overall and professional. Higher price than most. If you go, make sure the masseuse is experienced and is booked often. read more

We wanted to pamper ourselves for we booked a three hour Sultan package that included a massage, Turkish bath and facial. It was a unique experience for me as I have had many massages in my life but not one geared specially for men. For one, you cannot by shy about being naked. The locker area is very small and when I was changing, there were four of us in the tiny area so you will be basically within inches of other men changing. Not a big deal. The massage was also one where I have never been completely naked and uncovered. Again not a big deal. The masaage itself was just okay. Not the best I have ever had and there was lots of stretching. He did not quite hit the areas I told him about but it did feel good. The Turkish bath was a first where you lay naked on a table and basically get scrubbed down and rinsed with very hot water. It was nice to probably get rid of dead skin in areas you normally cannot get to yourself. The facial was very nice. Overall, I would come here again. It was a nice afternoon. read more

Acqua Spa was such a highlight of our visit to Puerto Vallarta, that my husband and I went twice! From the moment we walked into the building, we were greeted with kindness by the reception staff. Just before it was time for our services, we were ushered back to the locker room to change and freshen up (restroom and shower), then we were ushered toward our individual services. During our first visit, we chose the "King For A Day" combination of services. Paul and Enrique were my assigned service providers and they did such a wonderful job. Paul was attentive throughout each of the three services he provided snd Enrique was just as wonderful. After that amazing experience, we returned today for a massage and I was happy I chose Paul again. What a wonderful massage therapist. Overall, visiting Acqua Spa was quite possible the most amazing part of my weeklong visit to Puerto Vallarta. We will definitely be coming again every time we are in town. read more

You won't find any "massage amigos" here. While the massages are exceptional, the vichy shower is not to be missed. This place is awesome! Clean! Friendly and professional staff! They have a shower for guests to utilize before and or after the massage. Lockers are included. You get a towel and slippers. The website allows you choose the masseuse and what services you'd like. Make sure you make a reservation at least a week in advance to guarantee the masseuse that you want and the specific time that would work for you! Majority of the masseuses were good looking, but the really good looking ones get booked up first! I got a massage twice and my partner only got a massage once. JESUS MEDINA was simply amazing. Initially, I didn't think his tiny hands can be so firm and strong. Jesus had the perfect hands and technique to really go deep. His hands were so strong, but the massage didn't hurt since he has a good technique. He would carefully not press down on bone, unlike other masseuse. Him being nice looking was just a bonus. Very professional as well! He was also very consistent with his pressure the whole 90 mins. He did not fatigue at all. ALEKO PICAZO was my partner's masseuse. Very professional. Good massage. Strong and intense, perfect for deep tissue massage. Consistent with pressure during the whole 90 mins. ANDRES MEZA was my masseuse for my second massage. He was good. Towards the beginning of the massage, he was strong. I don't think he has a technique. He just wanted to press deeply and hard. Sometimes very painful. He was very jerky. His massage jerked my body up and dow, side to side, depending on what he was doing. He would do the same movement over and over and over and over again. Not pleasant at all. Several times towards the last 45 mins of my massage, his pressure and hand contact would decrease and stop his hand movement. I thought he was just doing something on the side. But it happened often. So I paid attention to what he was doing. I realized we was FALLING ASLEEP!!!!!!!!!!!! He fell asleep several times during my massage. I was able to confirm this because while he was doing my neck, the pressure decreased and movement stopped. I felt his head close to mine on the massage table. He was breathing hard. He fell asleep for about 10 seconds till I cleared my throat to wake him up. I'm just annoyed I spent 1500 for a mediocre massage. I'm not sure if I would recommend him to anyone. I went for what was advertised as a "Balance Massage". What I received was a mediocre Swedish massage. The therapist never engaged or asked me anything. I kept waiting for the experience to change and it never did. Most infuriating is when I responded to the Aqua Spa review I received a message back telling me that what I received was what was advertised. I have written them back to let them know that after thousands of massages across the world over years of experience I know what they advertised and I received nothing of the sort. I really do t appreciate a business trying to tell their customer they did not understand the experience they had!!! read more

I have been to Acqua Spa once before back in 2020 and had Fernando- the experience was great. This time while booking I found out Fernando no longer works there, so I was going to have to experience someone new. I noticed Daniel did not have any reviews on here and was initially skeptical for that reason. Let me tell you, Daniel was absolutely phenomenal. One of the best massages I've ever received. It was the perfect combination of sensual, relaxing, deep tissue at points, and stretching. My body felt brand new afterwards. I also did the Vichy Shower combo which was so relaxing and left my skin feeling silky and soft. The receptionist was also very welcoming and friendly. I've been to many male massage spas around the world and Acqua will be hard to top. Great interior remodeling converted an old gym into a state of the art modern and clean facility. Acqua Spa is setting a new standard in Puerto Vallarta. Professional, welcoming, friendly staff help break the ice. My massage therapist, Roberto, had excellent technique over the course of my 90 minute balanced massage, alternating between relaxing touch and deep tissue work where I had requested. Feeling adventurous, I selected a 45 minute Vichy Shower. I had no idea what it was besides the brief description. The private room, table top slab, water pipes and shower heads had my mind thinking Frankenstein. After initially feeling like a naked turkey being salted and brined, it all changed to wonderful scrubbing, bathing and pampering! Warm water constantly washing over me felt so awesome! I told Roberto the last person to give me a bath was my mom when I was a small kid LOL. Truly an exceptional experience not to be missed! The facial was professional and well done but I skip the massage next time because it felt more like a general rub down rather than focusing on muscles. We spent and enjoyable afternoon getting pampered with spa and scrub. I visited later for a pedicure. The pedicure lasted nearly and hour and he spent an inordinate amount of time sanding away the rough undersides. Nice and smooth and baby like skin by the time I left. Was a bit odd he offered my nails to be cut "straight". It is as you would imagine. I got back to the condo and trimmed the edge of each nail myself to make them rounded. I had never been offered "straight" or "curved" nails and thought slected wisely. Not so. The spa is indeed male only and most of the women pool-side at my condo complained they don't have as nice an option to go for massages nearby. Perhaps the owners should consider a "ladies-only" mid-week day and see how that goes for them. There certainly is very high demand. read more

Acqua Spa ...I have experienced Nirvana. The first step through their doors I am engulfed in aromas , smiles and warm greetings. I realized that this was legitimate, this was a REAL spa. I was introduced to my masseur,Fernando. A firm hand shake promised a good deep tissue massage. Clean, appointed with marble, the surroundings invite you to explore further. I enjoyed a 90 minute deep tissue massage. Fernando, who's warm smile and constant attention to my comfort, prepared me for a relaxing massage. He did not disappoint. Now for a journey to another land and time. A Turkish bath, I have never experienced one before. We enter a steam room and transported to a Turkish Hammon, Turkish music, steam, a long table and I lie on it. Warm water, oils, scrubbing with a loofas, I have never been pampered like this. I told Fernando that I feel like an infant being bathed. He corrected me and said "no, like a Turkish King...they would be treated like this" after all these treatments, I felt relaxed, energized and...like a king. read more

Two friends and I went not once, but twice, to Acqua Spa during our 5-day stay in Puerto Vallarta. I had the "Balance" massage with Roberto, who was amazing (my two other friends had the deep tissue massage). Roberto figured out fairly quickly that I keep stress in my shoulder and upper back and worked out the knots. We first went for the 60 minute and the second time we came back for the 90 minute massage. The essential oils they use are great -- the eucalyptus and the orange ones being my favorites. For the first time in ages, I didn't feel a tension in my shoulders. Roberto was really great and I loved the sound bowl at the end - it was clear there was a focus on mind, body, and spirit. I highly recommend Acqua and would suggest you ask for Roberto. read more

I was in PV a little under a year ago and while I was out one night I made friends (as you do here) with a guy named Juan. He mentioned that he was a massage therapist, but we didn't get he chance to connect before I skipped town. When I came back this time, he told me that he'd started his own all-male spa (a huge step from doing privates) and went to check it out. I honestly went because I wanted to support, but after getting my 90-minute session with Andres it's beyond support. The facilities (a pretty perfectly located former gym) were clean and relaxing and had special touches that make you feel comfortable. There are showers there as well as some amenities that would make going from your massage to work (or a night out!) easy. About Andres, he worked out some things on the left side of my back that had been there for a couple of weeks. During the massage he was intuitive, communicative, and responsive -- three things I look for when getting a massage. INTUITIVE: I didn't say much about what I wanted but after feeling around a bit he found where my focus needed to be. COMMUNICATIVE: "Is this pressure okay?" A standard question. But he also "spoke" with a few "hmm"s to let me know he knew what he was finding. RESPONSIVE: When I told him that pressure was perfect, he was consistent. For the record, I like a hard massages. Deep. Travel wear-and-tear is a part of my current life and Andres was great. Aqua Spa is an all-male spa that will give locals and vacationers alike a legit feeling of relaxation. read more

I've been to Puerto Vallarta many times but this was the first time I went to Aqua Spa. I decided to have the 1 hr Swedish Massage and 1 hr Premiere Vincy Body Scrub. I've had many massages but must say that Oswald was very professional and did an excellentl job.The Vincy Body Scrub was totally amazing. The faculty was very clean, the whole staff was friendly and wearing masks. The bathroom was fully furnished with mouthwash, deodorant, q-tips and even cologne.
