My brother and I wanted to get pedicure done. We wanted to fulfill our dream of getting pedicure done with ocean view. With a quick Yelp search, I found this spot. They were able to make an appointment for us on the same day. Once we reached the spa, we were welcomed. They provided us with eucalyptus infused towels and some herbal drink to sip on during our pedicure. We were seated immediately and the pedicure massaging chairs were comfortable. We were able to switch between various massage modes and the pedicure itself was very nice. There was also foot massage bundled with the pedicure , this was a great surprise! Towards the end, I had the option to choose any nail paint color of my choice. I must say, ocean view was a cherry on top! EDITED: 2 years later and I have permanent scars from this terrible massage. Also, no accountability on Spa Holistic's part as they have not once reached out to me, or followed up on this review. Spend your money at reputable spas, not here. I regret my experience at Spa Holistic. The space was clean and the staff was friendly. Typically, I opt for a deep tissue massage, but I chose the Hot Stone massage at Spa Holistic. My masseuse seemed friendly and even relieved some pain in my neck; however, she never checked with me on the level of pressure, temperature of the stones, etc. The temperature of the stones were EXTREMELY hot. Although the stones were hot to the point of being painful, I assumed my masseuse had experience with hot stone massages, so I also assumed the temperature of the stones was normal. I left the massage with a hot and painful sensation on my back, but I figured it would relieve after some time. It wasn't until I arrived back to my hotel room, shortly after the massage, that I realized I have extreme burns from the hot stones. My skin is literally raw where the stones were placed, due to my skin being burnt off. I'm disappointed that my masseuse failed to mention anything, although it is very apparent that my skin is blistering and raw. The burn is so terrible that a pharmacist has advised me to stay out of the sun, watch for infection, fever, chills, etc. while on a beach vacation. Trust me when I tell you, skip your hotel spa and come here. My partner and I came to PVR for the New Year. Of course you have to come to the Romantic Zone and this is where they are located. While doing what tourists do we came across the fish pedicure. I have had one previously, but my partner had not. So, here we are. If you haven't had one, you must just to experience it. It's different as the fish nibble the dead skin off your feet. BUT, what got me was when we were finished. The woman dried off our feet and gave us a soothing massage while applying lotion. I'm hooked. What else do you do here? So, we checked out their menu of services and were back the next day for a couples massage. Again, trust me when I say, it will be better and more cost effective than your hotel massage. And it was. You can choose the type. We got deep tissue. They also do manicures, pedicures, etc. The pedicure chairs are facing a glass wall so you can people watch out on the beach while they tend to your feet. The space is light and airy because of all the floor to ceiling windows. The employees are very nice and accommodating. You must check it out! read more

My friends and I were staying at Playa Los Arcos and dedicated one day of our stay for spa appointments. There was 8 of us, and we staggered our appointments throughout the day. Though I didn't do the spa planning, I heard through the grapevine that it was easy to schedule the appointments out and the spa was very accommodating. I had a great experience at Spa Holistica. I got the "Holistico," which was a 3-hour long service for the price of $200 USD... Like, that's a steal, y'all! A few of my other friends also chose to get services around 2-3 hours for the incredibly affordable price. The Holistico started off with a chocolate exfoliating scrub, followed by a chocolate butter wrap with head massage, and ended with a massage with regular oil or lotion. In between the scrub and butter wrap, I was advised to take a shower to wash off the treatment. So you basically can anticipate the time allocated for the scrub and wrap being about 45-50 minutes long, 10-15 minutes for the showers while the masseuse changes the sheets, and about an hour of the final massage. My massage therapist was amazing. She spoke good English and understood my specific request of carefully avoiding an area where I had gotten a mosquito bite during the trip. She provided such a relaxing Swedish massage, which is quite contrary to deep tissue that I normally prefer. However, I didn't ask her to go deeper since I was just blissed out and in complete peace. The reason why I'm docking off a star is because the shower in my room had no hot water and no pressure at all. Only a stream of cold water came out of the shower head rather than a warm spray or waterfall. If the shower head had been functioning better, I'm sure I would've taken quicker 5 minute showers to rinse the chocolate off my body. read more

Spa Holistic is a very clean, well appointed spa located overlooking the beach behind Playa Los Arcos in the middle of the romantica zone! When we arrived in Puerto Vallarta, we had several hours until our room would be ready. We had been up and traveling since 2:00 am ET, so I opted to visit the spa for a pedicure so I could relax. They have several plush massage chairs lined up overlooking the beach. The spa is very clean and smells wonderful. The attendant did an amazing job scrubbing and massaging my tired calves and feet, it was heavenly. I pointed out the nail color I wanted, but unfortunately zoned out during the service and didn't realize it was the wrong shade of pink until after. Oh well! My husband and I returned a few days later for their couples massage special, $114 USD for 2 for an hour. Our therapists did an amazing job of getting the right spots and stretching our sore muscles. The entire facility felt very clean and everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly and welcoming. All in all, a great experience I would highly recommend! read more

I didn't have time before I left on vacation to get my nails done so I thought I would treat myself. The location is perfect if you want to walk around after and check out the shops or boardwalk. TMI but my big toes grow ingrown and Alejandra was so gentle but still got the job done. Bless her heart cause I was really overdue to get my nails done as I'm busy at home and never make the time. I also got a 30 minute back massage with Yasmin which was so nice and relaxing. Honestly, I should have opted for the longer one. 10/10 would recommend to a friend read more

I had a pedicure from Mariela and it was by far the best pedicure I have ever had, hands down. Spoke little English but she was able to understand me just fine and I am not fluent in Spanish. My feet came out looking better than ever! The salon is very nice and very clean. They did not have any appointments available but were able to fit me in after about a 10 min wait. Prices were reasonable as well. So happy I decided to stop in and will be back in the future! They accept credit card, Apple Pay, and cash! read more

So conveniently located next to the all-inclusive resort my friends and I stayed at for a bachelorette party. I'd say a 3-minute walk! I had the BEST experience and LOVED every second of my 2.5 hour package called the "Ejecutivo". This consisted of a deep tissue massage, facial, and pedicure. Marisa took care of me from beginning to end and she was the sweetest! Super clean and lovely spa outward facing towards the water and people walking by.
