I've read prior reviews on yelp and google stating that this was their best massage experience ever. Entranced by the rave reviews, I booked a deep tissue massage for couples. Booking: 10/10 Easy peasy booking with several options available. You can book through Email, whatsapp, or calling them directly. I tried inquiring through google chats and it worked! I was able to book a same-day appointment within a few minutes. Location: 7/10 We were staying at the Marina Area and we were so lucky that this Spa was only a few minutes away. The actual spa was a small place with double massage beds for a couple room. Although, the spa is located away from the main street, the road it is located on gets alot of car traffic. Mid-massage I could hear cars honking angrily outside despite being in one of the rooms deeper inside the spa. Massage: 5/10 Asked for deep tissue but didn't get the deep tissue pressure as much as I have expected. Majority of the massage was efflurage. I would have appreciated more elbow or knuckle usage. The masseuses did try their best though so most of the stars are for them. They did spray some aromatherapy scents pretty frequently that the scents got very overpowering, we had to hold our breathe at times. I did like the cucumbers over the eyes, they were very refreshing. They did apply so much oil all over me during the massage that I felt like fish being prepped for cooking. I was expecting a towel down or something, but they used the sheet underneath me to pat down the oil. All-in-all, massage was ok. Just okay this time. Not sure I will be back. I've been coming here for 10+ years and I was not very happy with my massage and facial today. I got a 90 minute deep tissue massage and Lupita basically just rubbed my back. It felt good but it wasn't a deep tissue massage. But the worst part was the very loud construction directly next to my head the entire time. There was literally a VERY loud chainsaw going the entire time. Not very relaxing!! read more

I requested a deep tissue massage and boy was it deep. There was no kidding around, but for this, I am only appreciative since I did ask for it, despite being quite bruised the following days. This is the positive part of my review. The bad part of the review is that it was a super small room, and it was only partitioned to some other space with some type of blanket. It was so small that my therapist scraped the walls every time she moved. It felt quite strange and not relaxing and cozy as most spas intend to convey. I will not be returning. read more

We came from San Francisco CA to Sayulita Nayarit and based on the reviews my husband and I decided to come to Day Spa and will NEVER return. First of all before initiating there was no consult, and on our relaxing full body massage I had to guide the young girl to massage my neck and felt she was just rubbing my body. Also on our Mud Massage session I was freezing for a whole hour I felt she only exfoliate my body with salt menthol and took it off with cold towels, the air conditioner was very high, and never asked if I was comfortable. I called the owner and she stated she has been there for over 20 yrs and there has been no issues with American clients. This makes me think sadly they treat them differently. And when we try to explain her that we weren't satisfy she did not let us talk and justify the situation. Honestly we felt bad for the young girls they seemed super exhausted, and at the end we just mentioned how cold it was in there and tip them 20% percent of the total, the reason we tipped them is because thank God we are overly blessed financially & always try to help people when we travel out the country with that are less fortunate. At the end of our conversation with the owner I mention I will post my review on Yelp and she stated "that she was recording me the whole time, and no one will believe this review because of the ratings she has had in the past. Looking at all reviews, there are not a lot recently. Please be careful coming to this place, they will just take your money. read more

Oh My God this was the best massage. I just laid there and enjoyed the lovely silence. When I turned over to my back my massage therapist put cucumber slices on my eyes and it just felt so cool and refreshing. This was the most relaxing massage I have had in the longest time. I don't even know where to begin... I just had a massage a day prior and thought that was the best I ever had and today I was proven wrong by this establishment. Everyone was so friendly and professional. My wife and I were welcomed with some champagne and got the same massage/ treatment that lasted about two hours. It included a salt scrub which was very thorough when that was over we showered to clean off then back to the table for a hour long massage which was so relaxing to say the least. After the massage we had facials and I promise you.... if you come here you will not regret it. It's about 15 minutes away from the Malecon area.
