Rich, however, was such a helpful employee and stand-in dad for me in that moment. He asked me questions about my truck, and even walked out to the parking lot with me to see what types of tires I had. I arrived at my appointment time and waited a few minutes for my advisor, Nicholas. Nicholas was awesome - very welcoming, warm and personable and really good at his job. I informed him of a couple of other issues I was having other than needing the routine service and he made sure they were addressed. I also informed him of the time I needed to be picked up that afternoon and he arranged that perfectly. The "shuttle" driver was also very friendly and drove with care. She dropped me off and picked me up without a problem. I was very pleased overall with my experience and will be sure to use Mercedes-Benz of Princeton again in the future.

Throughout the process, I was repeatedly told by my service advisor, Tam Edmondson, that the delay was due to waiting on the insurance company and that all required information had already been submitted. However, after personally calling my insurance company, I was informed that they had not received the required documentation or photos from the dealership. Only after I requested to speak with management and expressed concerns about the situation were the requested photos finally submitted, and my claim was approved almost immediately. This caused unnecessary delays and inconvenience, and it became clear that the issue was not the insurance company but a failure in communication and handling of the claim process. I was also disappointed by the professionalism throughout the interaction. My husband was told not to call and was instructed to communicate only by text message in a dismissive manner. Communication overall felt poor and reactive rather than proactive. Additionally, I was told the vehicle would be cleaned before pickup, but the car was returned dirty. I have photos documenting the condition of the vehicle when I picked it up. Most concerning was that when I raised these concerns with management, the experience was minimized and defended rather than addressed constructively. I expect significantly better communication, transparency, and customer service from a luxury dealership.

The price was adjusted upward 400% from comparable parts but I paid it because I needed it. 3. I drove 20 miles to pick it up only to discover that it was broken with a golf ball sized part of the box missing, still apparently worth 400% markup. My sales person was Brian Meddings. Do not use this person who works on markup and made good money on my part, but refused to have it overnighted to my location and made me call him several times to get status on this item. 4. The part was broken and my two week waiting period flushed.

In February they performed a cooling system…read moreflush that explicitly included checking cooling fan operation. 83 days and 1,761 miles later the fan failed completely, rupturing my radiator. Their own diagnostic confirmed it. Their response? A $200 discount on a $2,467 bill for a failure directly tied to a component they documented inspecting. When I pushed back the manager threatened storage fees despite AAA Member Relations advising me to leave the vehicle pending a corporate claim. Both conversations were recorded. I requested my removed parts be returned. The manager acknowledged on a recorded call the scrap collector had already visited -- before I even picked up my car. I never authorized disposal. That line on my work order is blank. Paid the balance in full under protest. Manager wasn't even present at pickup. Active complaints filed with AAA Corporate, NJ Division of Consumer Affairs, and the BBB. Small claims court is next if needed. Do yourself a favor and find a shop that stands behind their work.
