We always order the chicken shawarma, which is flavorful and comes in a great portion. Everything I've tried here has been consistently great. They also have two dollar martinis all day, every day, which is awesome. SERVICE: Our server knows us now. Every time we come in, we are greeted with smiles and receive excellent service. We absolutely loved it!! The Food and service was excellent!! My son had the chicken Parmesan . He said ,it was the best chicken Parm he's ever had. The red gravy was everyone's favorite!! I had the Eggplant Sorrel SOOO delicious.!! PERFECTLY cooked huge portion crispy on the outside tender on the inside. We also had the Mediterranean hummus, which is absolutely the best in town!! Pita bread was OMG sooo good!!! Another special dish that we tried was built like a lasagna and I was told it was but, unfortunately devoured before I even got much of a bite lol My family loved this place . It's a family run business by the sweetest people you ever want to meet that have had the Acropolis across the lake for years and years ., Almost forgot the baklava and coffee divine!!!! Acropolis of Metairie has been a staple in our family for over a decade, with that said I am SO overjoyed to have them on the north shore!!! I've never had better Baba ghanoush in my life and the moussaka is not only the size of your head but it tastes like home! Oh and we can't forget the amazing 6 onions soup!!But our favorite is our sweet waiter Bruce he's always the kindest and most attentive, he honestly loves this place and needs a raise! We even come twice a week sometimes this place is so consistent and amazing as a chef myself, I'm proud to leave this amazing restaurant 5 stars! read more

Acropolis was good. We had 4 different entires come to our table. All 4 look delicious, I had the Eggplant Sorrell and it was very good. The marinara was very, very good. I also had a cup of 6 onion soup, again, it was very good. We had the appetizer sampler. The Baba Ghanoush was very delicious. Our waiter needs to understand time management. From the time I told him that I needed a refill on my Lebanese tea it took over 20 minutes and we had to asked the co-owner about getting us the refill. The waiter needs to pay more attention to all of his tables. Management needs to help more making sure the customers are being served properly on a timely basis. read more

The great food and friendly, courteous and helpful service so accustomed to from the Metairie location. Enjoyed a delicious meal with family on Thursday. The redfish with special with vegetables was amazing. Their vegetables are always cooked perfectly. The Kaseri burger was fabulous and the gyro wrap was delicious. The a avgolemono soup and all the salads are the best! Our family favorite appetizer is the fried ravioli. Great as always! Wonderful location in z Mandeville. Went in for the first time, for carry-out. The staff was super friendly and efficient, place was clean and organized. Ordered the gyro wrap, falafel wrap, and steak fries. Took about 10 minutes to prep. This is my new favorite food in Mandeville / Covington / Madisonville, and definitely the best Greek option. Everything was perfectly cooked. The gyro was super tender, the falafel had a little crunch on the outside and soft inside, seasoned steak fries were golden and fluffy in the middle. All the ingredients were fresh, and as far as I can tell, the pita and taziki are home-made. The gyro wrap seemed a little pricey, but was absolutely stuffed; enough for two meals. Acropolis on the Northshore! Wow, let me say what an amazing dining experience. The service and food were top notch and loved every bit of our time here! I really enjoyed the atmosphere and all the outlets provided to get a quick charge on my phone. The 6 onion soup and Greek salad is a must try. My wife really enjoyed the Greek pizza and I had the gyro wrap with grilled veggies. Shoutout to Troy and Puge in the back - those guys are in the kitchen! read more

We have eaten here several times for lunch. We have found the service excellent and the food consistent. The servings are very generous. We have had a number of the appetizers, soups and main courses and have yet to have anything we didn't thoroughly enjoy. Second time here and super disappointed. Service was great-very friendly. Food has made us sick since a few hours after eating it. The lamp and chicken were so tough that you could barely cut it. Everything is over powered by garlic. Just not good and my gut tells me this place will unfortunately follow the others that occupied the space in the past. read more

We were really looking forward to this place because we've eaten at the one in Metairie for years. What a disappointment. My husband got gyro and the meat was thin and obviously grilled or griddled and it became tough and appeared burned. He didn't enjoy any of his food and the tzakiki sauce was sour. My food was just ok but my vegetables were burned. I know they just opened so I'd possibly give them another try ...our server was pleasant and the ambiance is just ok. However I'm not there for ambiance. Will be following along to see other reviews and possibly try something different next time...however if they can't do Gyro that's an issue! read more

Great food, great service. Everything really was very special. Bruce was an extremely attentive server. He didn't miss anything. We had a party of 7 and everyone loved their food . The flounder special was delicious as was the sautéed redfish. The rest of the family enjoyed the crabmeat ravioli with blackened cream sauce. The 4 course special is such a great value. Like a welcome home. I was a local patron one time before when they first opened about a month ago. I was greeted by name when I returned for a second visit last night and was so well treated. I can't say enough about the management and the wait staff I can tell you that they are focused on pleasing their customers and doing what is necessary for you to feel like family. On first visit I was excited that they offered Saganaki, fried and flamed cheese which is not available elsewhere on the northshore. I commented to the manager that the cheese could have been fried longer and more melted. He assured me that when I returned he would make corrections. Sure enough he followed thru and Saganaki was outstanding tonight. All the food is well prepared with quality ingredients. Love this place so much. I literally eat here 2x a week. The Kabobs ( chicken and shrimp), fried ravioli, eggplant, greek salad, and wheat pita are my favs!!!! Recently started getting different sides with my Kabobs and the only recommendation I have is to bake the sweet potato's a tad bit longer so they are soft. Otherwise amazing food alway fresh and the service is great everyone is extremely nice and attentive. read more
