We wanted to get our family together to celebrate two wedding anniversaries and cancer remission so we needed an elegant yet homey ambiance. We've had home delivery (amazingly fast and hot) and this restaurant is right off 128th and I-5. Everyone had a pasta dish or gyro and we shared a large pizza and garlic cheese bread. I just can't express how wonderful their whole menu is! Everything is absolutely delicious. We sat under two chandeliers while receiving impeccable service from our smiling waitress. I went in to order two pizzas based off of the advertised online price. When it came time to check out it was double what the price should have been. I explained that I found this pricing online under their company but the manager refused to give it to me at that price. He gave me $0.60 off! I showed him the online pricing and he said he could not be responsible for what another company advertised. I asked him if this company was representing his company and he said yes so in that case he would be responsible for the advertising. Later he did come and say that that was correct pricing. This is by far my favorite place to eat! Atmosphere is very luxury with heavy furniture, designer touches throughout with gorgeous chandeliers and warm lighting! Food is absolutely delicious! My favorite is the specialty dish called Mediterranean Dish with jumbo prawns, Alfredo sauce and you can have it mild or spicy. It's to die for! Love this Acropolis! We've never dined in but we get delivery a lot. The Pizza is good but we have discovered the hot sandwiches and they are so so good. Great bread, lots of meat and cheese and great flavor. And they are huge! The salads are really good too. Loved the Caesar and the house salad was good sized and came with yummy black olives. They are usually early compared to the estimated delivery time but we are not far from the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Acropolis is a neighborhood gem. We dined in several times before the lockdown, very pretty and comfortable inside, since the lockdown we have ordered delivery on several occasions. What kind of pizza do these people giving 5 stars get? This was the worst pizza! It came in a styrofoam container with silver under the pizza which means it clearly was microwaved. I will admit, I eat/order from Acropolis way too often. I have done their pizza, pasta, subs, and gyros. Dining in is chill, friendly service and has a family owned feel. Ordering for delivery hasn't disappointed either. Their pizza is legit, sauce is just right, and generous with the toppings and best of all the cheese. They have a great lineup on all fronts and a $0.25 delivery fee, yes please. Price is right too! read more

My go to place for the best grinders! I have also ordered the baked lasagna and cheesy garlic bread which is also yummy but the reason I keep coming back is for their grinders. It's footlong toasted sandwich with yummy cheesy goodness. I only order the turkey grinder but my husband has ordered all of their available sandwiches and he loves them too. I wish I had one closer to home in Puyallup but we always make a stop when visiting the in laws. Their decor inside is also cute and rustic! Love what they did with the renovations. Holy schmoley! Ordered a Salami sandwich hot grinder for delivery and it was awesome! Bread was perfectly toasted, it was perfectly sauced, meat was tasty and even the shredded lettuce (which I normally don't care for on a hot sandwich) was fresh and tasty. Acropolis doesn't look like much from the outside--it's in a strip mall, but it's actually a quaint and quiet spot, decorated in an elegant/rustic manner that somehow works. The food is excellent, and they have some unique pizza toppings. On our most recent visit, I had pizza with eggplant and goat cheese. My husband had a hankering for eggplant parmigiana, which they don't have, but they had an eggplant/chicken parmigiana dish, so he ordered that. Unfortunately, he detected no eggplant whatsoever, although the dish was tasty. The portions are generous, and entrees come with two pieces of garlic bread, but a side salad will cost you about $3 extra. No worries, the prices are reasonable. I was a little disappointed that they were out of the beer I wanted, and they no longer carry spumoni and the limoncello dessert that is on the menu. Pity--our party of three was ready to finish our meal with 3 spumonis. But don't let this deter you--the food is really good, the price is right, and the service was excellent (our waitress was named Tina). We will continue to patronize this little gem. read more

This is an interesting restaurant. First off, it is located in a modest working class suburban mini-mall with an unremarkable plain exterior. But once inside, everything is different: you are greeted by high end decor reminiscent of a modern high end night club with the lights turned down low, so much so, that the HGTV TV channel would be proud of the chic look. But this is no snooty upper class elite eatery. Instead, despite the upscale interior, the mood is very laid back, unpretentious, cozy and casual. You could even dress in a t-shirt and shorts and feel at ease. My server was professional, warm, responsive, easy going and approachable. She checked on me occasionally and she did not constantly hover over me. I gave her a 20% tip and rewarded her by ordering extras like the delicious tiramisu dessert and a glass of South African Chardonnay. I liked the wine very much and was surprised of the high quality considering this was a modest neighborhood. I like high end or nearly high end cuisine and have a hard time finding such places in suburban neighborhoods. I ordered the chicken fettuccine alfredo. It was not 5-star, and more like 4-star, BUT, it was delicious enough to give me joy. I don't need elite world class refinement to make me happy. But This dish was superior to anything I've found at most family owned neighborhood Italian eateries. The crowd was modest so I didn't feel crowded out or surrounded by loud patrons. This is basically a local sit-down pizza joint that does an awesome job of offering its own brand of nearly high end casual dining. The food is obviously not at the level of a chic urban hotspot, but I chose to award this restaurant 5 stars because the entire dining experience was highly enjoyable. I felt happy, full, appreciated, rested, delighted, impressed and loved. I'm coming back for sure. These people know what they are doing and they do it very well. Awesome formula! read more

My absolute favorite place to get gyro's and pizza! I've been eating here for years and everything I've tried so far has been delicious. My favorite is their gyros and greek salad and the meatball spaghetti that is baked in a layer of cheese. My husbands favorite is their pizzas. We usually get the meat one and they layer it so the meat is in the middle and the cheese is on top. We usually do take out because service can be kind of slow when eating in. They recently redecorated the restaurant so there's more attractions with people dining in. read more

This has been a good restaurant and they have remodeled and added some wonderful things like their cauliflower appetizer. Their salads are fresh. Their pizzas are good although I prefer a little bit thinner crust. But my favorite has always been there grinders and in the last year they have really started skipping on the meat in the grinders. They now have just about half of the amount of meat they had before. They taste good but they're not as filling. The Kirkland location of acropolis still makes their grinders thick and hearty. But alas, as I live in Edmonds I don't always want to travel that far for good food. Fortunately the things other than the grinders still seem to be good quality read more

I have ordered from Acropolis in the past, their grinders were pretty good, so I ordered a salami grinder, my boyfriend ordered a pastrami grinder. They used to use Italian salami for their grinders, so that is what I was expecting, they are now using cotto salami, and if such poor quality that it tasted like bologna. My boyfriend said his also tasted like bologna, I have no idea how that happens, but beware, their quality has gone downhill. read more

Went in here with a buddy and was surprised how good the pizza was, I moved here a few years ago and I have found there is not much variety here, all food tastes pretty much the same , Mexican, Korean, Chinese and Italian it's like everyone has the same recipe book and one place is just like the other, pizza here is either wood fire type or toppings under the cheese.
