Nice little Italian spot around Everett area. Close to downtown. I stopped by here before the hockey game. I love Italian food. I tried something new on the menu and realize it is a soup dish not fully pasta. I regret my choice but still ate it. Great service and attentive. Stopped here randomly on our way from Seattle airport to Big Lake. 2 adults and 2 kids (4 and 7), we all loved it! 7 year old says "the pizza is 10 out of 10, 5 stars, and best ice cream ever!" Just okay... a party of four came to dine in on a weekend. Plenty of space available, no wait time. Waters were brought quickly to our table, but the service otherwise was moving at a snail pace for the rest of the night. Chicken pistachio, pesto gnocchi and chicken alfredo were pretty bland without a lot of flavor. Decent portions except for the gnocchi. Veal Parmesan was not breaded or anything, and the meat itself was questionable. Minestrone soup was super chunky with onions and cabbage. What's very unfortunate is how the owner (Sylvia) I believe Hispanic/Italian looking lady with the horrible brows had an absolutely terrible attitude the way she treats her employees the way she speaks to them is absolutely appalling and I'm starting to wonder if that's why her business is failing! Never in my life have I been charged 1.25 for lemons for my water! Not only that we were given sticky notes as our order receipts then we get some receipt looking paper but it doesn't show what you're being charged for! I had to get up and give ms Sylvia a piece of my mind and also had to give Sonja a hug because she takes it like a champ bless her heart if ever I come back from cali I will definitely not be back if its still even in business but hoping to see Sonja possibly elsewhere thriving with proper treatment. Shame on the owner of this company let your employee do their job and stop hovering over them doing a great job mind your business and do your job unless customers come to you with a complaint simple! We paid $52 for a bottle of Barbera, I knew it wasn't worth that when it came with a twist off cap. We goggled it when we left and you can get it for $14.99. I got the cannelloni and it had no ricotta, it tasted like hamburger meat. I only ate one. We also got an antipasto and it was a bagged salad for 18.99 with cheap grocery store salami on top drowned in olive oil. We paid $136 and went to a different Italian place for better food after. This place is very unassuming from the outside. I'm not going to lie, we sat in the parking lot and googled reviews before going in. I am SO GLAD that we decided to check it out! I felt right at home as soon as we walked in; the style takes you back to a simpler time and the staff was so kind and doting. We ordered a pizza right away for our little ones and European beers for me and the hubs. This is the type of restaurant that you go to when you want to take time and enjoy your company, and we really did. We ordered a couple pasta dishes with chicken, (mine was in a white wine sauce that made my eyes cross it was so dang good) they definitely exceeded our expectations. I think my honey and I ended up eating more of the pizza than the kids and we still had a lot of everything left over. Against our better judgement (and tightening waste bands), we ordered a couple desserts to share around the table. OH MY. The spumoni ice cream and cannolies were gone way too fast. My six year old nearly licked the bowl, he loved it so much. The bill was a little higher than we're used to paying for a family night out, but it was worth every penny and we'll do it again. The spegetti was extremely bland & actual pasta was grossly over cooked - soggy & no taste. They bc are stingy with the meat sauce & I didn't taste any red sauce except much like sloppy joe taste. Th creme puffs were texture of thick C flour & the usually luscious creme filling tasted like hard shortening. Zero flavor with what appeared to be chocolate thin syrup over then. when is the last time you heard Jimmy Durante singing as background music? the restaurant looks like the italian places i would go to back in the 70s. it's cozy with old-timey photos celebrating italian-americans. this is my second time here. we had a pizza on the first visit. the second time we had to have a pizza again because we liked the first pizza so much. the wait staff is friendly and happy to help with recommendations. the pizza is a traditional thin crust pizza. it is not the current craze of cracker thin crust. the red sauce is tangy and not sugary sweet. my favorite is the Gianni's Special. the Quattro was not what we expected! the pie was separated into quarters and each was it's own mini-pizza. i liked it, a lot. the Chianti Classico was a very nice, light wine. the cannoli was fresh and crisp. two cannolis on the plate; one chocolate and the other was ricotta (my favorite). the rest of the menu is very italian. there's no feta cheese on anything here. i can't wait to return and try the scallopini read more

I ordered baked penne, which was very good and it came with bread/olive oil, but as good as it was, it seemed really overpriced. Almost $18 just for the entree. My bill came to almost $40 and I was dining alone. I did order a slice of cheesecake to go but even that was extremely small for $10. Unfortunately I missed the lunch specials by thirty minutes so I might come back and try those at a cheaper price. Over all it was a good experience, but I spent a lot more than I expected, which was disappointing. However, I do recommend this place. People seem to know each other and the service was friendly. I first went to this place decades ago and LOOOOOOVED IT. My daughter recently purchased a condo nearby so I looked it up to see if was still there. YAY IT WAS! DECADES later! The first time we ate here before the pandemic, the food and the service were great! During the pandemic we ordered out from this restaurant and also had a great experience. Tonight, we decided to eat here as opposed to other restaurants we were considering and were totally disappointed. While the cocktails before dinner were great, the main course was bland, and the service was disappointing. We were not offered fresh ground pepper for our salads. We needed to add salt and parmesan to our main courses to add flavor. And when we received the credit card charge slip there was a $6+ connivence charge added to the bill after the fact. Also, when you order wine, you have no idea who the producer/winery is. The Borolo that we ordered was just okay for a $58 charge. Overall, a disappointing experience tonight. read more

Our server, Tobin, engaged our table of 4 with his humor and candor. Love that! We ordered the mushroom appetizer called FUNGHI SALTATI ALL'AGLIO E PEPERONCINO and to my shock it was utterly phenominal. So delicious. It was like "where have you been my entire life?". Two in our party ordered the POLLO PISTACCIO, and I had to try a taste. OMG, another solid hit outa the park! The LASAGNE NAPOLETANE was a large portion presented well and smelled good, but I had the KCTS CHEFS acclaimed halibut called IPPOGLOSSO (lightly sautéed and baked in my favorite food group, BUTTER and GARLIC) in a white wine sauce. It was simply the best halibut I've ever eaten. For dessert I had the Tiramisu while my wife had the Cannoli's. Again, our server Tobin was spot-on throughout our visit even though he was servicing 6 tables of 4. He actually earned his whopping tip!! Today, was the last straw...I literally had one piece of thin chicken, three mushrooms, and like 10 pieces of pasta. So I called and asked if they make portions differently each time and why... the lady told me yes and that they charge differently each time. However, I've always been charged $23 and the portions I got each time don't add up. Customer service was bad and I just wished they were consistent because their pastas are really good just not their service and portions.
