This location had everything I needed- ladders, brushes, rollers, drop cloths, tape and a friendly staff who answered all my questions and made recommendations. They offered an extension on paint sale price if i bought the first batch of cans before the sale ended, as they track my purchase and colors in their system. I walked in and I was very pleased to see how clean, roomy and well organized this store was. There was a gentleman working behind the main counter, who asked me if I needed any help. I told him that I was just looking for a few things, I was ok...thank you..... Sure enough, I found the adhesive and the sandpaper section fairly quickly and I got what I needed in a matter of seconds....It does make a difference when you go to a store where everything is well marked, laid out and organized. So, off we went to the store to select some samples for the house. Since this store is just about paints and stains, I felt they had a far superior color selection than other hardware stores. I mean, who knew that you could have 35+ different shades of white. We spent about an hour in the store looking for shades for the house as well as the trim. The staff was super friendly, but not overly opinionated. In the end, they helped us to select the final colors based on the look we were going for. Samples are huge, and run about $5. If you are looking for exterior paint, you may want to buy a quart so you can test it with the correct finish - as samples only come in satin. However, two quarts and a sample size ran us around $35. Thought that was a great deal! They have sales often, so make sure you look up the deals before you decide to shop. Would totally visit Sherwin-Williams again for home projects - easy to shop and super friendly.

You have to be careful when buying wood here since every piece varies in quality. They do cut it to size for you, which is helpful. A minor inconvenience at worst, I had my staff call down to OBS to leave a note on my file that the next time we ordered new prescriptions we would prefer them to be in pad form, but that the loose prescriptions with this order were no big deal. The next day, Howard Owen himself arrived at our office in Boynton Beach (which is not exactly around the corner from Pompano) to pick up the incorrect order, and to apologize for the error. I just received my new pads this morning, only a couple of days later. I am amazed that this level of customer service still exists today. This type of customer service is what fosters steadfast loyalty to a business, and they have absolutely won my continued patronage.
