I have never, ever written a Yelp review. I am one of those people who use Yelp to find reviews but never contribute to it. Today that changes as I am writing my first glowing review of Five Star Clean. My wife and I first found Five Star Clean on Facebook and after reading Yelp reviews we realized that the quality of cleaning that Arturo, the owner provides is exactly what our carpet needed. I contacted Arturo through Facebook Messenger and after sending him pictures of our carpet along with dimensions, he quickly sent me a quote that I found fair and affordable. I asked if he could come on a certain Saturday morning and he was accommodating to my request. He arrived at 8AM, and started to work on our carpet that had never been cleaned in the more than 2 years that we had owned it. He prepped it, sprayed it, steamed it, rolled it and in the end it came out fantastic, making me wonder why I had never had it cleaned by him before. He was nice, professional and honest. Arturo provides excellent customer service. He texted me immediately with a quote. We arranged a date and he texted me when he was on his way. He is very professional and explains everything he will do and is very honest and reasonable with pricing. I didnt want to post this because I wanna keep him for myself and the more posts positive the harder he will be to get or even worse, raise price ... He declined offering discounts, but Arturo did impress me as he promised instead. We had others clean our carpet and it turned out super wet and just okay. Arturo and his crew made our 13 year old carpet look almost like new ! He went above and beyond to focus on "concern areas" and was even able to get printer ink stains out . How the hell did you do that Arturo ?? Our carpet was dry the next day even with severe outside/inside humidity. They use booties, furniture protectors, signs for wet areas, excellent smelling chemicals, and industrial blowers to help decrease drying times. They do not release waste water into the storm drains which many co's do and if tracked back to a residence can be tens of thousands of $'s by department of fish and game. read more

Five Star Clean is the ABSOLUTE BEST! I originally found them through a competitive bid on Thumbtack. We live in Brentwood and it has never been a problem for them to come to us. It has now been about two years since Arturo and his assistant cleaned the carpets in our large 2 bedroom apartment. We have 2 cats, 1 dog, my 94 year old mother who uses a walker, her aide and a constant stream of people in and out of this house. Needless to say, the carpets get totally disreputable. We also have a light colored, microfiber upholstered sectional sofa and they clean the seat cushions for us as well. I have been booking Five Star every three months since the first visit. Arturo is incredibly responsive, reliable, on time and considerate. I have used many carpet cleaners over the years and he is the only one who walks and inspects, pretreats, cleans, goes back to problem areas, deodorizes and brushes our carpets when done. He comes with the blue shoe covers for all of us. We live on the 3rd floor of an apartment building and he parks his van in the alley, runs the hoses up the stairs and we never see any of the dirty water.
