Feb 2025 Tech: Oscar I called to request an estimate for the cleaning of a sofa, loveseat & carpet cleaning service for 2 room and a hallway, Catherine answered and was very thorough, friendly and prompt with the estimate. She scheduled it for the next day between 9 and 12. The technician Oscar was at our house by 9:30. He came in and looked at all of the spaces that would be cleaned. He worked quietly quickly and efficiently. We had a couple of stubborn spots that other companies were not able to remove. He did some spot treatment to it and let it soak, and by the time that he was packing up, the carpet stains were gone. Oscar was friendly, reliable, and careful with our things which she had moved a few things around while cleaning and then replaced everything back how it was. We needed someone we can trust and would consistently do a good job for years to come! David was our guy! He was friendly, courteous and was prompt on the day of our appointment. He arrived with a friendly smile and wiped his shoes off very well, making sure he didn't further stain the carpet that already needed some extra tender care. The advertised prices were less than half of what I was quoted when the service man came to my house and I discussed these advertised prices with the man. I have used A1 several times now. I have a rescued dog who is rather indiscriminate about his potty habits. I clean it up as well as I can, but there comes a time - we'll, you know! You can not get any better service anywhere, of that i am assured, David arrived well inside the one hour window he had provided me with. David is a man of his word and was able to get a 4"by10 blood stain out when I was told by everyone I talked with; that a blood stain three months old was a impossible at best and the company I paid $200 to, swore that they could do the job and; only lightened it slightly. Unfortunately, we could afford the de-greasing of the downstairs carpet, but because they were a bit late, they offered to do it at no additional charge! Second time in two years I used the same company. The first time Dana did a great job and the second time David Maldonado did a great job. One Bedroom, Hallway and a living and dining room was a great price of $90. Will be sure to use them again. I've always been a believer of getting the house carpets cleaned once a year. Both times they showed up in a timely fashion, were very polite and did a great job, including getting out my red wine marks. When I call to make an appointment I tell them what I want done and we agree on the price. I don't add any teflon, sanitizer or anything else. Just simply clean my carpets. Very unprofessional! The staff walked into our house without any shoe covers. This is unacceptable for an indoor cleaning company. Now the wood floors on the second floor are full of footprints. The gentlemen argued that he would be working with water so refused to wear the plastic shoe covers provided by us, but the point is that you should bring your own! And as a guest, you should show at least some respect to the owner. The gentlemen also argued that he will be cleaning the carpets backward, therefore he will not be stepping on the cleaned areas. But what about the areas not covered by carpets? Will you clean those areas too? There is no one has ever stepped on our 2nd floor with their shoes on since we always wear our slippers or with bare feet, however, the gentlemen walked into the rooms covered by carpets with his outdoor shoes on. I think they really treated our house like their own house, but please understand that it is NOT. Our house is regularly maintained by professionals, including Pro Pool Guys, Team Champion Exterminators etc. They all have a high reputation on Yelp.com. What they share is that they take care those details with their professionality. The Devils are in the details. However, based on my limited experience with A1 Carpet Care, they are not good enough. read more

5/14/18: I am updating my review because not only did they call me right away to try to make things right and turning me into a very happy customer they promised they would come back and redo the carpet free of charge. They came back today and again the workers were very friendly and would ask me to come check the carpet and if it was to my satisfaction as they were cleaning it. The office staff and the carpet cleaners both did their best in doing a better job and going on and beyond to make things right for me. Waited 2 hrs for this company to show up for a 12:30-1:30pm appointment. Ended up showing up at 2:30pm with no apologies and started quoting add-ons for hallway and large rug that covered a large portion of one of the rooms. I asked if they could throw the rug in bc they were an hour late and he said "we aren't robots you have to pay for that". I told them I would like to cancel due to the attitude and tardiness.
