They understood my dilemma and told me to come in. They broke out the rest of the glass, cleaned it up, and taped down some heavy black plastic. I was back on the road in 30 minutes. That fix has held up beautifully for 2 weeks now. I just want to take a minute to tell everyone how appreciative myself and my family are for Kevin…read more Over the past few years, Kevin has been a HUGE help coming out to our house and replacing the cracked windshields on both of our cars, always showing up on time and completing the work quickly and professionally. Fast forward a few years, we had a loose rubber seal on our front windshield and were concerned about potential water leaks so I gave Kevin a call to see if he could take a look. He responded immediately and we set up some time for him to take a look. Turns out, there was no leak and the fix was purely cosmetic, but he still wanted to perform a full diagnostic just to make sure there wasn't any leaks somewhere else in the car. The good news is that everything was fine and no leaks were detected, which means his windshield fixes from several years ago are still going strong! Best part, when I went to pay Kevin for his time and effort to come to us, he said we owed nothing and that he was just glad to know that he was taking care of his customers no matter what the issue is! Had a silver dollar size hole created by a on coming vehicle kicking something onto my windshield…read morecausing the damage. I called Ron Tonkin GMC dealer in The Dalles. They said they don't do the glass work but they referred me to the company they use, Advanced Auto Glass. I called Advanced Auto Glass and they had my windshield in stock, and asked if i could be at the shop on 10th street as soon as they open the next morning after my glass was broken. I arrived at 8 am, and the glass installer was immediately preparing the vehicle for glass replacement. They even had a upgraded glass in my replacement. My old windshield was original GM glass, but wasnt tinted at the sun visor area, the one they stocked was tinted. With the quality of workmanship, by carefully removing all trims and hood covers to access the raw frame the windshield set to, and carefully replacing it all back, when the install was done, it looked great and they wiped all surfaces and vacuumed up any old glass that was on dash and floor board frim the incident. I would recommend calling them, and letting your insurance know you would want this company. They worked with me, and on short notice. Thanks to everyone there!

Clearly, this guy has no future as a cable company installer. Dude was early ... and cool ... and only there less than an hour. My windshield was replaced and Auto Glass Services handled all the paperwork (aka headaches) with the insurance company. By the way, windshields are getting a LOT more expensive and HI-TECH, but F.B. handled it like a pro ... which I guess is fitting since it's his job and all. Summary: Friendly ... actually hands-down cool ... quick ... professional ... nothing to complain about ... except dude was early. In no time, I got on with my day with a crack-free new windshield.

If I could give ZERO stars I would have. Because that was the amount of work this "company" did…read more In reading the reviews, I had a similar experience. I was told initially they didn't have room for my RV and wouldn't for a couple of weeks. This continued for about a month and a half. Then they said they could come to my residence (about a 10-15 minutes drive from the shop) to give an estimate for the small fee of $300!!!! Are you kidding? When I said no, they made room. The RV had a rooftop water leak, which they knew. After we took it over to them, they let it sit out in the weather for TWO MORE MONTHS!!! Uncovered!!! In the springtime. (More to come on this) I called every week or two to check on progress and was told the same thing every time. Something to the effect of "We are backed up and are waiting on parts for the job ahead of yours, but we should get those in this week and have your trailer in the shop the week after." Ok! Great! But I heard this from March until May when I called my insurance company and told them I needed to get it to a shop that would actually work on it. I gave a courtesy call back to them to leave them a message that I was having it taken to another shop. A couple of days later I got a call from the owner who yelled at me for hanging up on his wife, (who was also the lady telling me 2 weeks for 2+months). He wanted to know what day I spoke to her so he could charge me storage fees for the trailer from that date until I picked it up. I was flabbergasted! I told him I would pick it up that day after work. He said he would have it all ready for me to pick it up. I rushed home and when I arrived at the shop, my trailer was not there! I was stunned. I was told by a nice young man, who is the son, that they trailer had been taken by another tow company to the shop I had it going to in Oregon City. WHAT?!?!?!?!?!? Who gave permission for that? Not me! So, calls were made and actually STANTON TOWED IT THERE!!! No one called me to tell me this, no one asked my permission, not even a text saying not to come they had it handled. So, I asked the poor kid to confirm that the new shop had the keys (random thought) He was on the phone with his dad at the time and asked. The owner told the kid, we didn't leave keys when we dropped it off. I knew that wasn't true and told the kid. I called and spoke to the owner again. I ensured that they indeed DID have the keys as both parties that dropped off the trailer had confirmed they had left the keys. He told me they were lying. (NOT GOOD) Meanwhile, the mom, called the son and told him that IF they did have the keys, they would be in the key box in the office. I could hear her in the background of my phone call as well as over the kid's phone. He checked and guess what he found. Our keys! As we were driving out, I saw the Stanton big rig exiting the freeway, from the direction of Oregon City, towing another big rig and trailer. Our trailer was a bumper pull, no need to tow it with a big rig, unless you wanna get paid BOTH WAYS by the insurance company for going to the Portland area. I honestly don't know how they still exist. He made a point to tell me that they had been around and were an "institution" in The Dalles area. They are the ONLY shop around for big rigs. And I will definitely NEVER recommend them and drive the extra distance to go ANYWHERE else for trailer repairs. 0 out of 10. Negative stars if I could. Borderline fraudulent, but I'll leave that up to the insurance investigators. Multiple lies, pawn offs, disregard for customer service, no communication, acting without permission, doing things they weren't told to do with my trailer and on and on.

My most charitable guess is that you came to my house when I wasn't home, without contacting me first, and saw a 1982 Toyota Land Cruiser project sitting by my shop and somehow could not tell the difference between the two cars and still wouldn't call or ask any questions. If you answered your phone or called anyone back this could have been sorted out in 2 minutes! This has been a ridiculously frustrating experience and very unprofessional behavior. I called him to sort it out and he cussed and yelled at me and wouldn't listen to a thing I said. This was shockingly horrible behavior.
