Steve and his guys always deliver TOP notch service. They have been doing our property for a few years now. They are always on time, polite, and go above and beyond to make sure we are completely satisfied. It's also the little extras they do like moving things so they can do a complete job. Most recently they removed a vacant but still good sized mud wasp nest from inside my gutter. They had to remove part of the gutter helmet to do so. Action Jackson showed up to power wash our home, was done within about 2 hours. Had severe damage to special order UV screening around the porch area, damage and blotching to our Trex decking and it even removed the finish from all fixtures on an outdoor fixtures and Coach lights. All total was over $3000 damage to the house. When I went outside I smelled a very strong smell of bleach to the back of the house. Still hasn't taken any responsibility to the damage. We decided to use this company based on good reviews found on Yelp, very glad we did!! Steve's crew power washed my mother's house and my mother said they did an excellent job and were very professional. My mother has a power awning on her back deck and after the job was done the awning wouldn't work. She called Steve and he promptly came out and assessed the issue, his determination, the problem was most likely due to the outlet awning was plugged into as it had worked the day of the job and the person who cleaned the house saw her activate the awning to close it. He told her he would send her an electrician and take care of the issue free of charge. A few days later Steve and the electrician came and fixed the issue within a matter of minutes. I like that this company did an excellent job, treated my mother with the utmost respective and took care of any other issues that may have arisen during procedure. The prices were fair and when my mother asked if he offered any discounts he gladly provided a discount (most likely senior) as my mother is in her senior years. This was a gift from her children that live in the No.VA area and as we were an hour or more away he was even willing to work out the payment over the phone if we couldn't get down the day of the job. I scheduled a gutter cleaning with this company. The person came out to my house, turning on the water and setting up a ladder, before making me aware that he was at my home; as in, I did not receive a knock on the door or any contact at all whatsoever before he started work. I communicated, respectfully, my request that before work begins the provider communicates this by knocking on the door. I also requested pictures be taken of before and after work so that I know the quality of work being done and that I would be outside overseeing the work, making sure downspouts are fully cleaned and functional, as I've had workers out previously who said they did the work, but did not. The response to my respectful communication and requests was "why are you copping an attitude with me when I'm just out here trying to provide you a service." At this point, I knew this would not be someone I would hire nor work with now or in the future. I let him know this was not a match and that I would not be moving forward with him as a servicer. People who do quality work are okay with oversight because their work vouches for itself; it is clear he was threatened by my mindfulness, by my having my own back to ensure I am receive quality work. He spoke to me disrespectfully, which is unprofessional, out of line, and a red flag. I would not recommend. read more
