Unfortunately RJ was off his game today. He came in quoting quadruple the prices that were estimated to me weeks earlier. He seemed frazzled and awkward. He claimed he lost sleep the night before and had just downed an energy drink. I can sympathize, but let's be real. My carpet looks good, but the couch is just ok and the throw rugs are not great. He quoted me $225 for my couch and quickly came down to $150 after I explained he was giving me the bait and switch. This was all in front of my 2 year old daughter. I called the main number to inquire and they were not helpful. I guess he didn't realize we have cameras in our living room bc I have footage of him and his partner laughing about the bait and switch. I will not use this company again. read more

The technicians were nice. However, the overall results weren't great. The carpets looked okay for the first two weeks, but then the odor came back and the carpets always feel a little moist, like it can't dry even though it has been several months. When you step on it or put your hands on the carpet, it feels squishy, dirty and it smells awful. My carpets were bad, but for the amount paid, I expected better results. read more

I have a rental unit that the last tenants left with terrible, deep, dark stains. I reached out to Active Chem-Dry, e-mailing them pictures. From the pictures they did not feel that they would be able to remove the stains but they were at a job only a few minutes away from my place and offered to come by to take a look in person. After seeing the stains, RJ could not guarantee that they would be able to completely remove the stains even with their deepest cleaning, but I asked him to give it a try. Well, RJ knows his business and was right, he was unable to completely remove the stains but he did get them much lighter and the rest of the carpet looked like new. Beyond being pleased with the work that was done, it was a pleasure to work with Lilly in the office with the scheduling and RJ and his guys with the actual cleaning.
