Someone broke my Toyota Sequoia passenger window on a Saturday. Few shops open or could drive to my site. Asked for a bid from a couple of glass shops and the price came in around $500. Called Acumen and the guy said he could get the window on Monday. He'd order it that day. Said it would cost around a couple hundred bucks. Sounded good to me and set an appointment. I dropped my car off in his lot and came in Monday. He fixed the window in an hour and cleaned all the broken glass up. I talked with hiim and found he had been doing window work for 27 years!!! 27 years. He did a hell of a job for $248 - about half the prices I was told elsewhere. He doesn't do insurance work but will send the paperwork to your insurance website to send to your insurere for a refund. Good guy. No, I'm not his dad. read more

I called mid-afternoon (close to closing) on a Friday as our truck window fell in downward position and wouldn't roll up. Seth had me bring it in, he immediately diagnosed it, ordered the part with open communication on cost and repaired it next morning! First of all, Acumen isn't closed, they moved to Rodeo Gulch Rd in Soquel. Yelp should fix that. Second, they rock. Worked with Seth today to get my rear window replaced on the Prius. Seth was great to work with, knowledgeable and helpful. Explained how I would have to get the camera in the window recalibrated by the dealer so I was prepared when my insurance adjuster told me about this. It's nice to speak with the person that was installing the window so there is a clear communication going both ways. They were able to give us a accurate quote over the phone, (windshield was damaged from a work related incident, so we really needed a quote in order to be reimbursed quickly). Despite the sketchy feeling location (it is very hidden)--- everything about our experience at Acumen was perfect: quickly done, professional, accommodating, and the windshield looks fantastic. EXCELLENT WORK!!! I drove to Santa Cruz from Phoenix, AZ in my RV. On the way, the windshield started coming loose and was ready to fall out. I contacted several RV and glass specialists - I had one try to sell me a new windshield (which they didn't have in stock and which would have arrived after I needed to go back to PhoeniX.). Luckily, I came across Acumen. Seth came out , had a look, and told me that, although it would be tricky, he could remove and properly re-seat the existing windshield.
