RJ was very helpful explaining the options and Andy helped me pick which tint level to put on each window. My vehicle is significantly cooler and no longer feels like getting into an oven. I have had vehicles with no tint, factory tint, etc. I highly recommend spending the extra on a tint that blocks IR rays and not just UV. If you can afford it, upgrade to the Nano IR tint. It's amazing and you don't need limo dark tint to have your vehicle cooler. Longer, detailed review: I spoke with Andy on the phone and he was great at helping me figure out what would be best for my needs. I have a sun allergy/sensitivity that causes burning and hives on my skin. He was great at explaining the options. He also explained the difference between just basic tint and the tint that also blocks a percentage of the IR rays. You know that burning feeling you get when sun touches your skin? It is caused by the IR (infrared) rays. That is also what causes the heat. It is also important to me for the tint to be legal. I thought my only option for the windshield was to tint the top few inches at the top of it. RJ told me there is IR tint that is almost crystal clear that can be put on the windshield. This was great news. I decided to go with the 3M IR tint on all the windows. I had been considering upgrading the windhsield to the Nano IR tint since the windshield is the largest window that lets sun on the front seats. I scheduled an appointment. At the appointment, Andy helped me decide on what percentage of tint. I settled on 70% for the front half, 5% on the back half and 50% for the panoramic moonroof. They did a fantastic job. When I picked it up they told me not to roll down the windows for the first 2 days. It takes 2 weeks for the adhesive to fully cure. It is normal to see little drips, tiny bubbles, etc while it is curing. After the 2 weeks, if there is anything still there you cam bring it back and the warranty will cover fixing it. Three weeks after my appointment and everything turned out absolutely perfect. I can definitely feel the car is cooler. However, I did regret not getting the Nano IR tint on the windshield. I decided to make a new appointment, have them removed the 3M on the windshield and upgraded to the Nano IR on the windshield. I kept the 3M IR on the rest of the car. Let me tell you, the difference between the 3M and the Nano is AMAZING. Now my car is much cooler. My parking spot at home is in the sun most of the day. When I leave around 1:30 pm for school pick up, I can get in my car without it being boiling hot. If I open my other car (with no tint) parked in the same spot at the same time of day, it is like opening an oven. I can sit in my car in the sun and I don't feel my skin burning. I also no longer get rashes from driving. If you can afford to upgrade to the Nano, I think it is worth it. At least get your windshield done with the Nano.

So I was looking for a company that would cover the back door with a protectant to prevent the paint/door getting scratched and damaged. I was referred to Gordon Watson and just took my car in yesterday. I am SO happy with the job he did!!!! The covering he put on is self healing, protective, and so whenever my wheelchair bangs against the door the protective cover will prevent it from damaging the door. Gordon was amazing, did such an awesome job, was so friendly and nice to chat with while he worked, and I brought my seven month old puppy in with me who he allowed to be in there. After the car was complete, he even gave me a couple strips of the protectant material to put over the metal areas on my wheelchair that get banged up! Initially, I had a great experience with Nate and his crew when they tinted my Mercedes Sprinter…read moreconversion van. The tint looked excellent, and I thanked Nate personally when I picked it up. Once I got home, I discovered significant damage on the driver and passenger door panels that had been removed for the tinting. The panels were pulling away from the door frames. Four clips on each door were either missing or broken. Three bolt-covering end caps were missing and the rest were installed incorrectly. A bolt was missing from the passenger panel. The plastic was scratched and jagged where it had been pried off, and the black rubber pillar window seals had razor-blade cuts. I even found a razor blade left on my seat. I contacted Nate that same day with photos and videos. He would not take my calls, but he did text to apologize and offered to repair the damage. He explained that his most experienced tech had called out and two younger techs worked on my van. I agreed to give them the opportunity to correct it. Days went by with no follow-up. After multiple messages, Nate said his expert tech had "fallen off the face of the earth" and suggested his "plastic guy" repair the damaged panels. I was skeptical, but he promised to schedule the repair soon. Then more days passed with no communication. At no point would he speak to me on the phone. After eight days, I went to the shop in person. Nate was not there, but his brother inspected the van and agreed the work was unacceptable, especially the cut window seals. He assured me they would make things right and said refunding the tint cost was the least they should do. A week has passed since then with no response. I had to take the van to the Mercedes dealership. They confirmed missing and damaged clips and improper reinstallation. They also said the damaged seals should remain watertight but are visibly compromised. I paid $350 for the tint and $758.13 out-of-pocket to have the panels repaired. The seals remain damaged. I genuinely liked Nate and his brother. Their shop is clean and they seem to care about quality. However, ignoring a customer after damaging their vehicle is unacceptable. There is another review describing a similar situation tied to personal issues Nate was having. That may explain things, but it does not excuse the lack of accountability. The tint quality was great, but if anything goes wrong, do not expect them to stand behind their work.
