I called this guy because my landscaper accidentally broke my rear window in my BMW SUV. I asked him to replace it. He replaced it with a window that did not have tint. He was approximately 4 minutes from the time he was supposed to arrive when I called to see what was happening. He said he got the wrong window and had to pick up the right window. So he rescheduled another two hour window. I told him this was inconvenient because I had to leave but I needed it done. 26 Monte's before his SECOND arrival time he shows up after I called him to see if there is a problem since the time is getting close again. He says I'm at your house. He was two blocks away because he did not read the directions given. He got here refused to bring the keys upstairs after finishing the repair. He called I said my daughter will come down because I had a sleeping baby on me. He leaves the keys and takes off. A few hours later I'm able to go downstairs and find glass everywhere and an untinted window where my tinted window once was. So my rear window now doesn't match the rest of my car and the heat is going to come in as well as bright sunlight with my grandson in the backseat. When I reached out he refused to answer the phone or text messages. I've been going back and forth and asked him to fix the issue. He refuses to take responsibility and just keeps saying call me. I told him I did not want a phone call I wanted communication in writing because he clearly had an issue the first time around. Now, 3 days later 4/8/25 he still won't tell me if he plans to fix the problem. So, I want everyone to know what he did and how it turned out. He's a horrible business man, rude, and did not do the job he was hired to do properly or with any level of professionalism! I do NOT recommend and am filing a complaint with the BBB and county. He 1 star because you must give at least one. He deserves a negative start rating costing me more money out of my pocket when these damages were to be paid for by the person who did them. read more

beware!!!! this guy is a hack.... called him to put a new side glass in my classic car... shows up at dark to remove glass from my car. he could not get it out , so he proceeded to actually bend glass to get it out, he fought with glass to bend it to remove it from side door of car, it was a flat glass, he finally got it out, then he tells me he will cut new glass from a piece he had at home, but a little smaller so it will fit in window area, i had already given him a hundred dollar deposit to buy a new glass and track from classic industries in la.then he bent the channel that glass was in, so he said i needed a new track also, after he partically ripped out my existing track for window,which was fine until he touched it. then he disappeared not a call or anything from him, over a month passed and no show called him numerous times, finally got ahold of him,i said forget the whole deal , i want a refund, my hundred dollars back, he said okay , then no show again called him numerous times, he said was coming, i waited and no calls from him... this guy is a real story teller, and b.s.er for sure... last night i called another local mobile glass company, they came out today and put in new glass and track which i had to buy. i told them what happened to me and they said they got calls from 2 or 3 other people ,that he did the same or similar thing to also... i am turning this hack into the bbb ... oh well...maybe they will get me my money back from this shady want to be glass guy.... his glass company should be called- hacks-r-us y mas read more

I would give this place zero if possible. Back in January my windshield sustained damage. I decided to use insurance because I figured it would require complete replacement. My insurance company sent them out. They installed a windshield while I was at work, my wife did not inspect it. The windshield was damaged and/or had flaws on it. It looked like a used windshield. When I confronted him about it, he tried to tell me it was "normal" and how it came from the manufacturer. But he then told me about all his "high end customers." That did not make sense because someone "high end" would never be satisfied. Take a look at the attached pictures of what he tried to get away with installing on my truck. About my truck, it is a 2019 Silverado with all the advanced safety features connected to the windshield. I asked him if he recalibrated the windshield, which you have to do. Of course, this dude lied and tried to tell me that you don't need to have the windshield recalibrated. I had already confirmed that it needed to be done with the dealership and another auto glass company. A friend of mine happens to own an auto glass shop, so I knew this dude was lying to me again. After I pushed back on him, he finally agreed to do the calibration. He also told me that he had to contact my insurance company to get authorization for another windshield since I was not happy with the one he installed. Two weeks later, he finally showed up with a proper, new windshield and installed it...or so I thought. He also said he would come back the following Friday with his calibration system to recalibrate the windshield. Meanwhile, for some odd reason, my rearview mirror camera stopped working when he put the new windshield on. Friday arrived and this dude no showed, no called on us. I called him and he gave me a long song and dance about how his calibration machine was broken, but he would be there next Friday to fix it. Next Friday came and he no showed again. He called me Friday afternoon and said he had fixed his calibration machine and would be at my house 1000 am Saturday. Guess what, 1000 am came and he did not show up. He then called me and said he could not fix his calibration machine and that he would email my insurance company to get me a "pass" so that I could have it recalibrated at the dealership. A week later, I called my insurance company and guess what, they had no idea about anything. This dude never contacted them about the bogus windshield he put on and never contacted them about the recalibration. Once again, he is a lying sack of "bleep." I explained everything that happened to my insurance company and gave them a copy of photographs and text messages. I also made a complaint with them regarding this dude. Where are we now...my insurance company had me work with the dealership Capitol Chevrolet who sent me to their authorized glass shop, MEX Auto Glass. MEX inspected the "new" windshield "y Mas" put on my truck and advised us that he put on the lowest quality windshield that he could have and that they might not even be able to calibrate it. Again, this was an insurance job that I had to pay just my $500 deductible on. This scam artist I'm sure charged OEM price to my insurance but installed the cheapest glass. The glass he put on is about the quality of his work, honesty and professionalism...AKA Bull$hit! MEX also discovered that the reason my rearview mirror camera was no longer working was because "y Mas" broke the connector for the camera that runs from the windshield to the mirror when he reconnected it. He completely broke one of the prongs off and forced it closed. So from MEX auto glass I had to take my truck to the dealership for repairs. Turns out "y Mas" caused $1,348.34 worth of damage to my truck that is not covered under my extended warranty. Luckily my insurance company is covering the damages "y Mas" caused, but I will be without my truck for nearly a week and a half. After I get my truck back, it has to go back to MEX Auto Glass to see if it can even be recalibrated because of the low quality of windshield "y Mas" put on. If it can't, MEX will be putting a new windshield on then recalibrating it. I want other potential customers of this dude to know what I went through and what I am still going through due to this guys dishonesty and poor ethics. I considered a lawsuit, but in the end he is not worth anymore of my time. Luckily there are good people out there like the folks at California Casualty Ins., MEX Auto Glass and Capitol Chevy that are trying to fix the damage this dishonest dude caused. I'm sure he is just fine if your high school student breaks the windshield of the 2000 hand me down Honda or Toyota, but think twice if you are going to hire him for anything newer or "high end" like the customers he allegedly has. The "y Mas" in the name must stand for "lies and bull$hit." Call me if you want to discuss this review and what you did, you have my cell number. read more

Zeros stars My car had a small water leak coming from the windshield. I contacted "Mobil auto glass y mas" the owner showed up and told me I needed to replace the glass. He initially said that he was going to try to fix it and it was going to Cost me $250, but if the glass broke in the process then he was going to charge me a total of $700. When he came in to fix the leak, he intentionally cracked my window with a tool he had, and kept telling me to call my insurance. I quickly picked up on his scam. He wanted to cash out on me and the insurance money. I knew the crack he did on my window was not there before he got there. I confronted him about it and he immediately realize that I knew what he was trying to do, so he said he was done doing business with me and gave me my money back. He left a crack in my window, and broke all the clips that came with the molding and I am having trouble ordering them as they are on back order with Mercedes. I'm not sure if anyone else has gone through this type of issue with them but I'm sure it's a common scam. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone specially someone that has no knowledge about cars, and can't defend themselves. I know my car very well. I take very good care of it so I know if it has any ding dangs. A buddy of mine recommended "ZAMEX Auto Glass" the owner was understanding and honest about this work. He told me this guy was trying to rip me off, because it was a common issue in the auto glass industry. He was able to fix the leak without a problem the glass didn't break like I was told it was by the other place, and only charged me $150 for the whole job. Nearly before I could finish pointing out the fresh scratch in my paint close to where they were wrestling to remove the old windshield, Eric blurted out, "we don't even touch the car" and "that will buff out" - two statements that were obviously absurdly false. In bright sunlight the next day, a fairly deep scratch in the brand new windshield itself became apparent. The person who recommended Mobile Glass to me was so upset that he donated an hour of his time wet sanding, painting, clear-coating and buffing to minimize the scratched paint. Horrible Experience with these guys to say nonetheless. It started with my BMW needing a front windshield replacement and my 2 front driver and passenger aswell. Booking the appointment wise wasn't a issue pretty flexible schedule that worked for both of us and his time of arrivals were good aswell. Biggest issue and whole reason I'm writing this is because after he replaced my 2 front windows the fitment was just completely off and he has 2 excuses one that BMW cars just never have exact fitment after replacement which is BS and second excuse was because he had ordered AFTERMARKET windows not OEM ones. He offered to re do the job for a bit more money, me for wanting a perfect job I said yes he got it done this time with OEM windows and fitment was still not good I called it to his attention he said it was cause the window regulator was broken on the passenger side but couldn't call it to my attention the first time?? So he ended fixing the regulator and STILL no good I knew fitment was not good at all since I went to test it at the car wash to see if any water would get it and SURE ENOUGH whole lot of water was in my passenger side. At this point I knew his work was BS I called it to his attention again that there was water getting in and he blamed it on the windows seals around the glass at this point I didn't wanna deal with his sh*t anymore and just left it. My passenger side window stopped working late last year on my 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser. I wasn't going to fix it since it's a 20 year old car. I started looking at used cars and was totally shocked by how expensive they are now. I decided since my car has just under 70,000 miles on it, that I would keep it and fix the window.
