Sean came out to work on some damaged/missing shingles that my insurance company was complaining about. Just before he came for the job another section of the roof started leaking. He fixed all the previous shingle issues and then looked for my leak without charging me for the extra work. He also took the time to show me all the potential problem areas and teach me about some of the right ways and wrong ways to do a roof. After reading all the great reviews here, I couldn't have been more disappointed with Acura roofing. First impressions are important both the roommate and myself felt that Patrick was nervous and lacked any confidence. He didn't ask questions about what our goals where, what products we might want, nothing. He left and said he'd get back to me with a quote...which took almost a week to receive (everyone else gave me a quote before they left). I was emailed the estimate the same day it was completed and received a follow-up call from Patrick to see if I had any questions. Patrick came out to my house the next day to go over shingle samples and then made arrangements within in a couple of days to have my roof replaced. His team replaced my roof within one day. Everyone at Acura was absolutely great throughout the process of getting a new roof. They gave a fast and well explained estimate. Patrick then went our of his way to help with all of the decisions - roof color, etc. They then did a quick and great job on the roof. We found a small cosmetic flaw after completion, and Patrick was ardent about making sure it was fixed before we paid him anything, even when it was discovered that the flaw was preexisting and not his crew's fault. So nice. And, most importantly, the work looks great. We have had several roof repairs done in the past, and I had come to expect a certain lack of attention to detail from roofers. But the Acura crew clearly took pride in their work, and the result is a beautiful roof that I'm sure will pass even the most rigorous inspection. I noticed a leak during a storm, and I thought the storm had knocked some shingles off my roof. Patrick returned my call quickly, sent an awesome pro out to check it out, and explained to me that it was a simple installation error from a previous roofer. He fixed it while I was at work and sent me an invoice in the mail. I was scared I was going to have to file an insurance claim, but they fixed it for under $200! Several storms later, NO LEAKS! Acura just installed a new roof for me. Five-star service, quality and responsiveness on every level. As others mentioned, Patrick's son, Shawn, now handles much of the estimate and supervision, while Patrick handles the business end. Acura was not the cheapest estimate (but who wants a cheap roof?), but they clearly were the most honest, experienced and reliable firm. I could share horror stories about the door-to-door pitches I've heard. That's not Acura's style. The roof was completed in about two days (steep pitch, with multiple levels of roof area). The cleanup was very good, and any concerns or questions were promptly and professionally addressed. read more

We hired Patrick after a big hail storm in Austin. We were currently under contract to sell our house. The new buyer's inspector stated we had major damage and would need a brand new roof. We were suppose to close in 1 week. Patrick's son came out that day and agreed with the inspector. He was quick and very professional. We had an estimate that night. Our insurance company sent out their evaluator. He agreed that the roof needed to be replaced. I showed him the estimate from Patrick. He stated that it was a fair price and that he had heard that Acura Roofing was a good company. If you are searching for a reliable, customer service centered, professional roofing company then Acura is the one. We searched everywhere on the net to try and find a roofing company last February to replace numerous shingles that had blown off our roof. There are a lot of choices but also a lot of risk; the reviews for Patrick and Acura made us give him a try and are we glad we did. In February after a bad storm we made an appointment along with dozens of others and he had our shingles replaced in no time. What is even more amazing is that just this week we had a handful of shingles blown off another part of the roof and we called him for help. The next day we came home to the shingles replaced and a courtesy call after we arrived home letting us know there was no charge! Patrick understands in this economic climate folks are putting band-aids on problems for as long as they can, such as our roof. Patrick and the team at Acura Roofing did a great job for us! We were happy to stay/spend local with such a business. Communication (email, phone, text) was handled perfectly. When needed, Patrick dealt directly with our insurance to get supplements handled accordingly. The job took almost two (2) days but only because our old roof actually had two (2) layers of shingles. The roofers were very pleasant and courteous. They did a great job of avoiding the delicate plants around the house and cleaned up everything very well. Pricing was also very good compared to some other quotes. Maybe you don't care what it costs when insurance is covering it, but I strongly encourage you to have Acura Roofing talk to you about it. I think you'll be very pleased with every aspect of their service. One extra thing that Patrick did that we've never had before ... he gave us numerous addresses of houses nearby for the color choices that we were considering. This way, we could see how the colors looked on different houses (brick, stone, siding, etc). This really helped us lock down our color choice; it looks awesome on our house. read more

To my surprise, Patrick called me back a couple of hours later (yes, on Christmas Eve). Excellent Repair Work & Customer Service!!!!!  I want to pass along the excellent repair work and customer service that we received from Acura Roofing Inc.  We had a couple of roof leaks we thought were maybe due to the brief (less than a minute) large hail we experienced this spring.  Good news and bad news from our insurance adjustor who noted no hail/wind damage so not covered by insurance.  Since Central Texas has had so many storms lately, we only heard back from 2 of the roofing companies we contacted, presumably because everyone is so busy.  The first company told us that we needed a new roof and didn't offer up any repair options.  Plus, since out of pocket, the company initially wanted 100% payment up front!  Fortunately for us, we had already heard back from Patrick with Acura, and Sean got over to our house as soon as he could.  He inspected our roof and offered us 2 repair options.  He did not recommend we replace the roof now, as it should last a few more years (weather permitting, of course!).  Sean took the time to answer all of my roofing questions (I asked a lot!!!) even though extremely busy.  Sean was able to complete the repairs in between this week's rain, and now we are good to go!  Acura does not ask for any payment until the work is completed.  Alissa was extremely helpful with the estimate, invoice, and payment options.  Acura Roofing replaced our dear friend and neighbor's roof in 2017 and was highly recommended to us.  I highly recommend Acura Roofing for any roofing needs, even if you just want to get your roof inspected (Acura does for free); as I now know, homeowners should inspect their roofs every spring and fall, and anytime after a storm. read more

Acura Roofing, Inc. answered all my questions about a new roof. They provided me an estimate and shingle samples very quickly. I was most impress with the site crew because they got the roof done in less than a day. They had a system going on. After the old layers of shingles were removed, at least 2 guys started cleaning from one side of the house to the other and 4 shinglers on the roof. The crew had the blower machine going on after the work was done. Result. The roof looks great. The pipes and turbines match the shingles. read more

Patrick worked with me to get the upgraded 25 year shingles over the standard 20 years shingles at no additional cost. Once we got the ball rolling, they were very quick with getting the roof put on, even in the face of looming rain. We called Acura Roofing after a new leak was found after the recent rain storms. They were very responsive and informative with their recommendations and were obviously not trying to push more than we needed. They very clearly explained what was needed to fix the leak and what else was found that could cause other leaks in the future. They couldn't come out immediately....all roofers were very busy...so they offered some great suggestions to help minimize the damage. They suggested pulling back the insulation at the leak (it absorbs the water potentially causing mold) and putting a bucket up in the attic to keep the water from going through the ceiling. We couldn't really fit a bucket so they suggested to use a finishing nail (thin nail) to put a hole at the point in the ceiling where the water was coming through to prevent pooling which could've collapsed the drywall. They gave us multiple estimates so we could decide what we could afford to do for now and worked very well with us when there were changes while doing the work. They recommended some better quality parts while on site which were going to last us MUCH longer but also make the installation easier. Because it made the installation easier they lowered the labor cost which made the better parts only cost a very small amount more...$40 for about 8 new pieces. We did pretty much everything they recommended since their prices were so low! Shaun (sp?) was VERY nice and even pointed out a vent tube that wasn't connected to the A/C unit in our attic that he noticed while doing the work. He even climbed up on our attic to fix it before he left! I STRONGLY recommend Acura Rooffing for anyone within their service area! We will always call them first in the future if any more work is needed!! read more

But right from the start, the person who answered the phone was very helpful and courteous. She was able to get an estimator out within two days. The Estimator, Sean, was amazing.
