I usually don't post reviews but I wanted to share my utmost gratitude and the fine quality of work provided by Adam Locksmith Services. My parents are older and needed a lock smith to change out their existing front door locks to new ones. When Adam arrived, he told me that it was a different type of bolt lock (much older than usual) that was installed and he would have to go back to his shop and get a different type. He came back that afternoon and not only installed both dead bolt and doorknob locks but rekeyed them where only 1 key needed for both locks for my parents. AMAZING! Adam is a very kind, honest & professional guy! I scheduled an appointment with him to duplicate my car key. I brought my own aftermarket key from eBay, and to no surprise, it wasn't working/programming with my car properly. I called this guy to see if he could come down to my location and have my broken key duplicated but he said I could try to but he wasn't sure he could. Fix a broken key then he said give me 20 mins I have to eat dinner like wth so I said ok...then 20 mins later I called him back and he said it'll take another 20 mins to get to my location which isn't so far from his then I asked him can you fix my key as in duplicate it and he was like i don't know...then I was like in other places I've been to in the past they could why not you...then he came up with this lame a$$ excuse like I'm busy I can't help you goodnight well here is your bad review and bad rating I'm so disappointed that I have to leave a star...stupid...I wouldn't recommend this guy read more

Best locksmith ever!! He usually only does services in San Jose but he came out to San Mateo because I lost my car keys and he made me a new key. Very fast and friendly service with a reasonable price. A few days later, I found my old key and I must have not heard him tell me that my old key wasn't going to work anymore and I was trying to start my car with my old key. I took it to the shop and they told me there was nothing wrong with my car and it might be the alarm system. I remembered I had just gotten a new key made and called Adam. He came to the location very fast and explained to me that my old key doesn't work in case someone stole it or found it. He was able to program my old key for $40 and now I have a spare!
