The pizzeria itself has a traditional feel with plenty of booths and seating, although it was fairly quiet on the day I visited - maybe due to off-season. There was a steady stream of pick-ups, but not many people dining in. The parking lot, located in a shopping complex, had some spots available with a bit of looking around. Overall, I'd give Frank's Pizza a solid review - the service was great and the pizza was delicious! Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Idk what to give this place tbh. It depends on who's working I guess. The spaghetti and meatballs…read moreis either delicious or disgusting. The mozzarella sticks are good. I personally think the mozzarella sticks are the best item on the menu. But this place is either hit or miss. It's either good or nasty. Personally, I would not take the gamble after that cold & gross food I got tonight. Manville Pizza is considerably better in my opinion, even though they cost a little bit more & their parking isn't as good. The best thing about Frank's is that they deliver. And that's all I have to say about that... I'd order pizza from them & it's ok at best. But as far as meals? Their subpar at best. They gave me the wrong order tonight. I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce NOT meatballs!!! Irregardless, I ate it and it was cold & had way too many onions. As an Italian, I'm low-key offended lol fr. What's baffling to me is that I had this delivered and I literally only live 2 minutes away from Franks. The only reason I had it delivered is cuz I'm having issues with my car & I wasn't about to walk through the town of Manville carrying a big box of food that was already cold that would have wound up getting more colds had I had walked. The fact that my food was cold is NOT cool. My mother also ordered a scrambled eggs. Her diet is very very very strict and you guys through hot sauce on top of that? Now she has no dinner and can't even eat that gross 'meal', so I'm going to have to make her toast. Literally a waste of money and totally defeated the purpose of 'take out' & me not having to cook. Now I have to cook with less money in my pocket. I threw my spaghetti out because it just was bad . Even the meatballs were just bad . It's all good though... this will come out of their tip the next time I decide to order a pizza... IF I ever even decide to come back again. Not frigging cool Franks smfh. I promise I most likely will not be back and that sucks cuz we gave you guys a lot of business . I'm talking six people ordering from your restaurant a night at least four nights a week . There should have been some compensation offered here or something . Instead I think I'll be going to Manville pizza from now on ‍‍

The bread was fresh and perfect for sopping up the sauce and dipping the garlic knots. The garlic knots are scrumptious! Located in Somerville, Prima Pizza Kitchen had been on my pizza hit list for quite some time. As it…read morewas my first time visiting and wanted some variety, I ordered their garlic knots, the standard plain cheese slice, and the drunken grandma slice. The garlic knots (3/5) were just ok, on par with the New Jersey average, and a bit dry on the inside (I prefer them a little more saturated in oil). They asked if we wanted marinara sauce, but it was subject to an upcharge, where we probably would have declined had we been informed about the extra charge for it (most places I'm accustomed to provide a side sauce upon request complimentary). We ordered ahead for a large cheese pizza (3.5/5) so that we could eat it freshly prepared out of the oven. The standard cheese slice was a small notch above what you'd expect from a typical NJ pizzeria, but neither the sauce, cheese, nor crust stood out. We also got a drunken grandma slice (4/5) which was the winner of the meal with the unique flair of the vodka sauce with cheese on a thinner square base. Overall, I'd rate Prima Pizza Kitchen a 3.5/5 in the very competitive NJ pizza market, and am happy to round up since Yelp doesn't allow half stars and the service was friendly. While I probably wouldn't venture out of my way to eat here again, it's a decent local pizzeria option for those in the Somerville/Bridgewater area.

Parking is in the back in the ShopRite lot, or you can try to park on the street. Somerville has become quite a foodie town, and street parking can be difficult to find. We had a party of five and were seated promptly at a round table, which was nice. We could all chat and see each other. Our server was friendly and professional and answered all our questions about the food. The meals were entree-sized instead of lunch-sized. Alfonso's doesn't allow lunch portions on Sundays. To start, we were given a family-style salad. It was mediocre at best. Boring. Mostly iceberg lettuce, no tomatoes, red onion on top, carrots, and cucumber. The complimentary bread was good, but it wasn't Italian. We were given another basket after we finished the first one. The butter was in those little plastic containers. Nothing fancy. Our entrees were: Dinner Giambotta (mild): Italian sausage, peppers, onions, potatoes, garlic, white balsamic parmesan sauce. Shrimp and Scallop Scampi Scallops & Shrimp Al Limone: Imported Roman artichoke hearts, roasted peppers, and green olives in a lemon butter white wine sauce. Cheese Tortellini Al Forno: Rose sauce, parmesan, fresh mozzarella. Eggplant Rollatini. My daughter had a Mediterranean Mule, which consisted of Figenza fig vodka, ginger beer, & lime juice. She enjoyed it! We all enjoyed our fairly large entrees, and most of us took some home. I would recommend Alfonso's. I've been here before and enjoyed it as well.

My daughters and I walked in and were directed to our seats right away. Staff were very friendly in waiting for us to order and have our family settle in. The vibes were great, very holiday feels so it was perfect. The portions are huge. We ordered the pescatore vodka and penne vodka with grilled chicken. It was more than enough for my husband, myself and our two daughters. We brought so much home. We're not complaining, we loved it! We will definitely be back!

My first thought--- another Frank's Pizza? Does every town in NJ have a Frank's? Why are all these people naming their kids Frank? And by naming them Frank, are the parents condemning them to pizza shop ownership? (BTW --- no offense to my brother-in-law Frank ) So this Frank's in Bound Brook has some issues: 1- the sauce is NOT pizza sauce. It tastes like an Italian restaurant wanted to add pizza to their menu but didn't want to use pizza sauce so they just used what they had on hand. Its not a bad sauce, but it just doesn't taste like pizza 2- it is neopolitan but its very doughy. Take a look at the pic. The crust is off-white. It is as soft as it looks. There is zero char. Zero crispiness. It's almost impossible to pick up to bite without losing all the toppings. 3- the staff seems somewhat disinterested in helping customers. I stood there for several minutes waiting to place my order while they were laughing and joking around with each other 4- very greasy and oily. This adds to soft crust issue 5- the slices lack flavor. Not sure if it's cheaper ingredients or being undercooked but it doesn't matter. It just doesn't taste like pizza and that alone is the reason I wont go back Rating: D+
