I took my mom back and mentioned the free lip wax that they stated all new customers get. I was informed that it isn't honored anymore, but you can purchase a lip wax for $10. Not cool at all! I changed my rating from five to three stars because that's false advertising and it erodes customers trust. Additionally, the service provider got wax on mom's clothes and her brows weren't satisfactory. On the upside.., Adana waxing studio provides good prices for their services. They play terrific music to drown out the cries of pain (just joking). Also masks are encouraged and aftercare products are sold at a discount with service. During my hair removal experience my service provider really did well with managing my expectations and minimizing the discomfort typically associated with hair removal. Called and booked an appointment with Erika and when I got there for my appointment they told me I had no appointment althought they acknowledged someone created an account for me but just never actually booked my appointment. After wasting my time going there the answer I got was "sorry girl but I can book you another". No thanks, that's not how you do business!!! read more

I've used Adana once before & they did a good job. So when I needed a wax before my work trip to Vegas next week, I chose Adana. I was booked with Tameika & when she took me back she said "you're getting a Brazilian right?" Um, now, brows & upper lip. She was nice enough, but I specifically told her that I already have thin/sparse brows so they really just needed to be cleaned up. I specifically said I did NOT want them thinned out. As she's cleaning them up I can tell the tweezing she's doing is just breaking the hairs not actually getting the hair out. But when I looked when she was finished I had no words. The tail/outer portion of my brows were SO thin & the right eyebrow is significantly thinner than the left (it's reversed in the picture). I have a scar in my right eyebrow that is never visible but it is fully visible now. Her remark when I told her they were WAY too thin was "well you can fill them in can't you?" How do you fill in something that isn't even there without looking like like a cancer patient or a clown? The other girl working called the owner & they comped the brow but I still paid for my lip. So now I'm not sure how I'm going to fill in this disaster of pencil thin eyebrows... off to Ulta I go to buy product that will cost more than the wax itself. This young lady may be very nice but she needs to spend way less time talking & more time paying attention to what she's doing. And she needs to go back through training because this is NOT ok. read more

I just don't understand. My very first appointment and my first appointment post COVID shut down were FANTASTIC. The last 2-3 appointments I've left my Brazilian Wax with still so much hair, that I still have to either trim or wax myself. I'm sorry but that's just ridiculous considering I have spoken with the owner about the issue as well yet nothing was done. Normally I go to another place to get waxed but my wife and I booked a last minute trip to Florida and wanted to get the fur ball off my back before going to the beach. Lol. So I was kinda in a pinch and this place is located close to where I live. So I decided to give them a try. I just want to start by saying that Angel who performed the chest and back wax did an excellent job. The issue is the pricing, the price discrepancy on the website, and the rude customer service I received while speaking with the manager or owner. On the website it clearly states that full chest is $55, chest strip is $35, and full back is $60. You would think that full chest means upper and lower of chest(the entire chest) especially if you're being charged $55 since they are charging $60 for the entire back. Nope, there was an additional charge of $40 for the stomach for a grand total of $155. I paid the $155 after having chest, back and stomach waxed. When I got home I called and spoke with the manager or owner. They were extremely rude and not willing to refund the $40 for the stomach or even work with me after explaining to them about the pricing on the website and paying $155. I don't mind paying for good service but $155 for a chest and back wax? Come on. ADANA you may want to Google what other places are charging because you guys have clearly missed the mark on pricing and customer service. My advice, save your money and go somewhere else that takes care of their customer, isn't rude, and has better pricing (European wax center is $20 cheaper, just sayin, for the same service). BTW, Angel received a 20% tip and ADANA I'd be willing to bet you don't stay in business long with those prices and attitude. read more
