    Don't go here

Yuck, if you could put no stars I would. Scam, short and sweet. 2 courses 13 carts til. At least 49 people. Do the math at 5 minutes per ride. No refunds, been standing for around an hr. For 13.75 for both tracks. Yuck , we left. Big Chief next door is much faster, super quick lines and even restrooms.

Bumpy pavement all over the track. Slow carts. We did both tracks and I wouldn't go back.

Guy working was super nice and the price is perfect. 5 minutes ride got in 10 laps if not more. Had a blast with the kids.

Worst go cart experience ever. Don't go here and waste your money. Their go carts don't work and staff are rude.

Horrible. Slow, old and run down carts. Terribly rude employees. Long lines for a super, quick ride. Do NOT recommend!

Unfortunately, I can't recommend it for younger kids because the safety measures simply aren't where they should be. There was very little guidance from staff, no shoulder harnesses, and no padding on the steering wheel. During parking, be prepared for kids crashing into the back of your kart, which resulted in more than a few cases of unexpected whiplash. What concerns me most is that this isn't a new issue. If you read through previous reviews, you'll find the same safety concerns being raised going back nearly 10 years. At some point, this stops being an oversight and starts looking like a choice. Height requirements alone aren't enough... there should also be a minimum age requirement (I'd suggest around 13 years old). For comparison, we also visited Tom Foolery's go-karts during our trip. They were actually $1 cheaper and had shoulder harnesses, padding, and a system that automatically slows karts down during parking and to help manage accidents. I truly hope Big Chief addresses these concerns, because with better safety standards, this could be a much different review.

Tons of games and tons of fun for all ages…read more Our first introduction to all that is 'The Dells' included a trip to Tom Foolerys and so they always have a soft spot in my heart. Attached to the Kalahari, they've updated and rearranged a bit and there's even more fun to be had. They have a variety of indoor rides. Personally, I dig the indoor ferris wheel and could seriously go on that on repeat (but I happen to love a good ferris wheel). They also have go carts, arcade games (complete with prizes), ax throwing, bowling, mini golf, and more. If you get the day pass, the mini golf is included--just a word of warning, it's a serve yourself kind of situation and there were some kids running around and maybe being a little chaotic with it vs. taking it in order (if that makes sense). They didn't bother us to much and when we kindly asked if they could wait before playing on the hole we were on, they did so. But, I could see on busier days it getting kinda wild. They have a new winners shop. Previously, like many arcades, it was a counter where you could spend your winnings (aka tickets). Now, they have a full blown shop, which I'm sure the kiddos will enjoy. They also have a new little bar situation where you can get frozen drinks as well as snacks. All in all, they've grown and expanded. If I had small kids, this would be a gold mine. They could play the whole day away in here. Get to it!

There's a little bit of everything -- go karts, laser tag, bowling, arcade games, mini golf, climbing areas and more, so everyone in the group can find something they enjoy. The activity bracelet/pass can feel a little pricey, but if you're planning to do several activities it's definitely worth it and makes things easier instead of paying for each thing separately. One thing we really liked was how convenient the location is. It's connected right between the Kalahari resort and the movie theater, so it's super easy to walk over and spend some time there without having to drive anywhere. Overall it's a really fun spot if you're visiting Wisconsin Dells -- especially great for families or anyone looking for something to do besides the waterparks. Lots of games, lots of energy, and plenty to keep everyone entertained.

We had dinner reservations at their Double Cut Steakhouse. Our server told us about a fireworks show at dusk there so we walked over to the convention area and they had lots of seats set up for the public to sit which was nice. This place is HUGE - they own so much space here. I was really surprised. The fireworks show was really good. It went on for awhile. We enjoyed it. I think we dodged a bullet with the parking because we were there for dinner. You had to go past an attendant who had a sign by him that parking was $25 per car. When we told him we had dinner reservations, he let us go through. All in all, a good experience. Detailed review of the steakhouse in a separate review.

After sending confirmation emails, they deleted my reservation TWICE. One of those reservations was an upgrade approved by a manager (after I left a compliment). When we arrived to check in, the front desk told us that another manager had deleted our upgraded reservation because someone else wanted to sell the room to another guest. It took them nearly an hour to straighten everything out. My son hit his head on one of the water slides. He had a small cut on his head, so I requested an incident report in case his injury turned out to be a concussion. On our way back to the room, another guest stopped me and said it was obvious my son was hurt when he came off the slide, which made me even angrier because the lifeguard (at the end of the slide) never stopped to check on him. After I got him settled in the room, I called the front desk to ask if they could issue us a voucher for the time we missed at Tom Foolery because my son was already showing possible concussion symptoms. There was no way we were leaving the room that night nor the next day. The representative told me they had to be mailed. I explained to her that we might come back that weekend (dependent on my son's condition) so mailing them was not an option. We had spent $299 on the Tom Foolery package so we had bowling and a $100 gift card to use. After going back and forth she enassurede the voucher would be ready at checkout. They called me twice asking for a specific te we would be returning. I told them I honestly didn't know; it depended on my son and our schedule. When they insisted they needed a date, I finally told them I wasn't sure and I needed to worry about my son not providing them with a date. The voucher wasn't ready at checkout. I was so frustrated that I ended up crying as I knew if they mailed it I would never recieve them. I explained that this wasn't what I had been told previously, but they basically called me a liar. I told the employee I never wanted to step foot in their park again. At that point, all I wanted was to be compensated for the last night since we couldn't even leave our room because of everything that had happened. After nearly an hour of going back and forth, they finally agreed to refund us for the last night. I appreciate the refund, but it doesn't make up for the stress, frustration, and ruined experience.

GET YOUR WINGS**…read more What some might consider a kiddie coaster is actually far, far rougher than the diminutive statistics would imply. Back when the park was called Big Chief Carts & Coasters, Pegasus was the 2nd major ride to be installed (in '96), following Cyclops in 1995. It's geared more towards younger guests, and aside from a few fleeting moments of airtime, this CCI woodie offers little in the thrill department. .....Unless you consider bodily harm to be 'thrilling.' Riding in the front row, I bruised a rib on one of the elevated turns when the train violently slammed me to the left side of the boxy PTC (Philadelphia Toboggan Company) train. From what I saw, not a single turn was banked in the slightest, which is okay at lesser speeds. Unfortunately the front of the train carries a good deal of momentum into the bank-less curves, which results in abrupt and painful lateral G's. The back row doesn't seem to witness this as much, since by the time the rear of the train navigates the turn, the train as a whole is traveling much slower. Injuries aside, Pegasus is pretty tame. It's unique in that it circles a go-kart track below it, but as it reaches a top speed of only 40mph, hardened coaster enthusiasts might find Pegasus to be too mild for their liking. As with all the other coasters here, only one train is in operation and this seats no more than 16 riders at a time, so the queue moves at a snail's pace. Nevertheless, it's 1 of 4 wooden coasters at Mt Olympus and is still worth your time, provided that the line is under half an hour. I'd recommend that front row riders prepare themselves for a jarring experience. _____ **My tagline works on multiple levels, since it's partly a reference to the mythical flying horse but also a nod to the fact that first time coaster riders can cut their teeth on this wooden coaster.....thus earning their 'wings'. Clever, aye! Thanks, I'll be here all week. Remember to tip your waitresses.
