Tons of games and tons of fun for all ages. Our first introduction to all that is 'The Dells' included a trip to Tom Foolerys and so they always have a soft spot in my heart. Attached to the Kalahari, they've updated and rearranged a bit and there's even more fun to be had. They have a variety of indoor rides. Personally, I dig the indoor ferris wheel and could seriously go on that on repeat (but I happen to love a good ferris wheel). They also have go carts, arcade games (complete with prizes), ax throwing, bowling, mini golf, and more. If you get the day pass, the mini golf is included--just a word of warning, it's a serve yourself kind of situation and there were some kids running around and maybe being a little chaotic with it vs. taking it in order (if that makes sense). They didn't bother us to much and when we kindly asked if they could wait before playing on the hole we were on, they did so. But, I could see on busier days it getting kinda wild. They have a new winners shop. Previously, like many arcades, it was a counter where you could spend your winnings (aka tickets). Now, they have a full blown shop, which I'm sure the kiddos will enjoy. They also have a new little bar situation where you can get frozen drinks as well as snacks. All in all, they've grown and expanded. If I had small kids, this would be a gold mine. They could play the whole day away in here. Get to it! read more

We had a lot of fun at Tom Foolerys Adventure Park inside Kalahari Resorts & Conventions. It's basically a huge indoor amusement park with tons of activities, so it's easy to spend a few hours there. There's a little bit of everything -- go karts, laser tag, bowling, arcade games, mini golf, climbing areas and more, so everyone in the group can find something they enjoy. The activity bracelet/pass can feel a little pricey, but if you're planning to do several activities it's definitely worth it and makes things easier instead of paying for each thing separately. One thing we really liked was how convenient the location is. It's connected right between the Kalahari resort and the movie theater, so it's super easy to walk over and spend some time there without having to drive anywhere. Overall it's a really fun spot if you're visiting Wisconsin Dells -- especially great for families or anyone looking for something to do besides the waterparks. I was annoyed because when I bought the card just for mini golf for my three year old and myself the person only put enough for one of us to play mini golf so we had to go back and load more money on it. We did enjoy the 9 hole mini golf course. It was cute and had just the right amount of challenge and uniqueness. We also enjoyed the arcade. Nice variety for various ages. read more

We are staying at Kalahari resort and got the Tom foolery package add on. It was well worth it! The arcade is huge! And there are tons of things to do... go carts, 3d ride/video game, mirror maze, carnival rides, carousel, mini golf, lazer tag, and more... it's totally worth it to buy wrist bands. read more

This place is an all-indoor arcade/amusement park. It is on of the top options in the Dells for in-climate/cold weather activity. It is fun year-around. This place is connected to the Kalahari Resort and has a huge parking lot that is free to park. It looks like it is an old mall. You don't have to be a guest at the resort to visit. The place offers a bunch or arcade games like Daves and Busters. You can also win tickets towards prizes playing non video games. The prizes are the cheap stuff you get like Chuck E Cheese. I would say that this place has to get with the times. You win actual paper tickets that you can put through a machine and will add them to your card. Other similar places have already cut out the machine and you get the tickets put directly on your card. You never have to carry around those paper tickets. They have a few virtual reality games there. They looked pretty cool and they also have laser tag, XD Dark Ride, and a 9-hole glow miniature golf course. There is go carts and bowling located upstairs. This place has some decent rides, that you can purchase wrist bands for to ride all day. The bands are good all day, so I recommend getting them early so that you can maximize your value. This place is open late. Smaller kids pay less for their bands because they cannot ride any ride. Also, a parent is allowed to ride a ride without a band if it is required for that ride. Some of the rides include a farris wheel, G-Force One, a merry-go-round, a small train, a small free fall, rock climbing and a large and small ropes course. There are a few card operated rides that do not work with a wrist band and takes points from your card. The staff there is very friendly, but they seemed short staffed because they had people working multiple rides. In the small kid area the woman was working three rides, so some people had to wait until she worked her way back to the ride they were waiting on. The place was ok cleanliness wise. It could have been a bit cleaner, especially the bathroom, but was ok considering the amount and primary age of people going through there. They have a small snack bar on site and only one restroom area, which is next to the miniature golf area. I think a place that size needs more than one restroom. The snack bar has your typical food like popcorn, hot dogs, chicken fingers, pizza, and drinks. It is moderately priced, but you got to eat. I liked this joint. I knew it was a money pit when I went in and was prepared. We spent about three hours there and my little were good. The plan was to go back later that evening, but the littles were too tired and did not fell like going back. Oh well, that was just me trying to maximize the money spent on the bands. This is a nice change of pace from the water parks and I recommend going in with a set amount that you want to spend and stick with it. read more

My family has been here a few times while visiting Kalahari Resorts. Prior to COVID, the hours were better. They used to close at 12 am and now it's 10 pm. The arm bands are nice but there isn't many arm band attractions. I don't think it makes the band worth the price. The actual arcade is pretty nice but it comes with a price. read more

Great indoor fun for kids of all ages. Located right next to Kalahari Resorts, this adventure park is a perfect place to enjoy rides, games, bowling, go karts etc. The high ropes and zipline is a lot of fun. This place is expensive, but I fully expected to be. Most of the games are ticket games, which is disappointing. Maybe five actual arcade games. There are some innovative ones that use 3d or vr. The attractions were decent and worth doing at least once. I thought it weird that the mirror maze was not included in the package. Still, getting the 4 person package is the way to go. The go carts had malfunctions twice during our race. We also had a bit of an issue with communication. If you're staying at the Kalahari and you don't mind blowing money on games, then check this place out. I wouldn't make a special trip to it. read more

I wasn't sure what to expect with low reviews but we got free passes to Tom Foolery's through our resort's partner program so we had nothing to lose in giving this place a try. There is a lot to do here: huge arcade, go karts, shooting gallery dark ride, laser tag, virtual reality games, amusement park rides, high ropes courses, climbing wall, mini golf, and a bowling alley. There is so much to do here, you could easily spend a day here if your kids are old and tall enough. We easily blew an afternoon here and our kids had a blast with all of the rides and games. We enjoyed everything we tried. If you don't want to pay for a day pass you can also buy each item al a carte but that might add up fast if you have multiple kids. Great indoor place to take advantage of if you are in the area, added bonus if you get free passes from a partnership resort, the value cannot be beat! read more

First I have to state the obvious. Tom Foolerys is associated with Kalahari - an African themed water park. Yet all the characters in Tom Foolerys appear to be caucasian and also able bodied. TF ...do better! Now, overall we did enjoy the park. We added park passes before our stay for $120 for four of us...and it was good for all days...score! The first two days we only did wristband activites....its quite a bit of activities to be done with jist the wristband pass. We loved laser tag the most. We stayed at the resort for three nights and purchased passes to Tom Foolery's that lasted the length of our stay. Three nights is perfect for this park and the indoor water park during the winter months. No lines at all during our stay one week before Christmas. The passes were on our wrist bands which also got us into the water park and our room. We had seven five adult children who really enjoyed this adventure park. Our family favorites were the ropes course, zip line and the go-carts. We probably spent more time here than the water park. Our room was much closer so it made for an easy walk. They had a lot of other attractions we enjoyed such as the laser tag and miniature golf. The arcade was also fun but can be expensive if you are not careful. read more

We had a rainy vacation day and spent the whole day here! So much to do! We had kids aged 16 to 1 and everyone found something to play with. It is pricey though!! You'll want to buy a wristband for the rides and if you want any prizes you'll need to spend a lot of money ($50 or more) on an arcade card. read more

I was there on Sunday March 28th and the fire alarm went off at Tom Foolery's. My sons became locked in this ride while the rest of the building was being evacuated. It took several minutes for them to unlock the ride because it's computer shut off. One of my sons was completely terrified and never wants to go back. If there was a true emergency, this could have ended very, very badly. I have tried to reach out to Kalahari about this. I have called and emailed with no response. They do not seem to care. read more

Came here to ride the go-karts with our friends while we were staying at Kalahari, but ended up staying for hours with my kid. I bought my child the all day pass so that she could do the other attractions too, like the Ferris wheel, ropes course and the upside down spinning ride. The arcade here is the best I've ever seen! So many cool new flashy games that spit out tickets. I ended up getting hooked on the quarter flipper games while I was waiting for my child. It was like a casino for kids! I ended up with 650 tickets after spending $40 in tokens, which got us some candy and a few little toys - definitely more than I would have walked away with from a casino! Love this place and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for some family fun. read more

Dont get the all day pass. Waste of money. You can purchase the rides and activities ala cart. Which I recommend. Fun playing. Sad to see the laser tag was not being cleaned after each use during these times but the gentleman working was great. During my stay last week we went to the adventure park. My 4 children, wife, and I decided to get on the Ferris wheel. So when we got on there was an associate operating the G Force one and an associate operating the Ferris wheel. There was also gather family that got on the Ferris wheel. While we were on the Ferris wheel, I don't know why but one associate operating two rides. The associate takes the other family off and the associate was not the one operating the Ferris wheel when we got on so it's not her fault. That is managements fault for letting one person operate two machines. That's not safe. We had to scream from the top of the Ferris wheel for the associate to realize that we were stuck up there. I say again not the associates fault. The associate operated the g force ride twice before hearing us scream. The associate apologized and we are not upset with that person. More so the managers that operate the facility. Allowing this kind of thing to happen. Anything could have happened. We have our autistic son on the ride and he started getting restless along with my one year old. I mentioned everything in my survey that was emailed to me but as usual big companies like that don't respond or call you to speak with you. We did like the Kalahari resort. We don't mind spending the money for the kids but I draw the line when safety is a concern for my family. Especially for my special needs child and newborn read more

Their business hours are not accurate on their website, which was really disappointing. Crazy understaffed as well. We bought a combo water park/adventure park wristband which is supposed to give you access to all rides, laser tag, mini golf. There was one attendant in sight operating all the rides, making it hard to get on any of them. When we went to mini golf we had to share golf balls and again, no attendant. Prices for the games are astoundingly high. We purchased two game cards for around thirty dollars and we each were able to play four games. It's insanely expensive and they started shutting down all the machines fifteen minutes before closing so we have a handful of tickets we weren't able to use. A huge disappointment was also that there was no attendant at laser tag. We went down there and were calling for someone and no one answered even though it was still open. This place is also a COVID nightmare. Everything was unsanitized, bathrooms were filthy, there were candy and sucker sticks on top of games. They also have mask mandate signs every there but literally no one was wearing masks. Super disappointing experience. read more

Awesome place for fun! There is a free wristband for all rides and it's not that expensive and it lasts for how long you are gonna stay! And the rides there is a pendulum ride, a ferris wheel, a go-kart track, a spinning drop tower, a junior coaster, a carousel, a Moby dick ride and lastly, some baby rides! This amusement park is pretty good. The pros are the rope course, and a couple rides: g force and go karts. However don't bring children under 3 unless they are 42 inches or taller. They will be limited to about 4 kiddie rides and can't be accompanied on the go karts, or the Xd ride. The xd ride is pretty fun. The games you get to play with the play card are way over priced in my view. I think this business could benefit from lowering the cost of the games. It's just too expensive. These games probably cost almost nothing except the electrical bill to run. If they lowered the cost at least more people would play and you'd probably make more money. Total cash grab. Not worth it. Overall it's a good place to go if you get free tickets with a hotel stay. read more

Had a wonderful time with my girlfriend; would recommend the karts to anyone and everything else here. My only issue was when we went down to Laser Tag. Got down there and everything was fine until a black family walked in without mask on ( I know this place isn't requiring them which is fine ) but than the guy working there who's name is Aroulio ask them to put their mask up, which would be fine if for two reasons: 1) Mask Mandate was required which it is not. And 2) He didn't walk past 5 White people and 3 Hispanics without saying a word to them about having no mask. The gentleman with his kids then went around to ask the guy how to get back upstairs to get said mask and he completely brushed him off because he was out of line which is complete bs. Then when we tried talking to him he couldn't even give us an explanation why he did that and just kept trying to walk away without dealing with it, that's when we got his name and went and and got the manager. Completely unacceptable and for this I don't know if we'll be coming back to said establishment. Even if it was just one person; he ruined it for us and we left. read more

Wow, the rudeness of the staff is actually unbelievable. Loading our play pass the machine charged our credit card $30, put no credit on the play pass. When we confronted the employee and showed them the charge on our card and clearly showed them there were no credits. They told us they couldnt help and to just try to purchase more?! This indoor amusement park is pretty cool. The go-karts are fun. It's not as big as an outdoor track but a pretty good adventure. The ferris wheel has a great view of the surrounding natural area. The mini golf course and equipment could use some updating. I also liked that you can buy a package or pay by the activity which is great if you have a young child with limited attention span and limits on adventurousness. read more
