We went with Touchdown Tile for our upstairs bathroom remodel, as they came highly recommended. We…read morereceived our estimate at the beginning of September in 2024, Final payment 12/30. Initially we were told it would be done by Thanksgiving and it ended up going through Christmas. Throughout this process there were numerous issues. They installed a bath fan that still did not work appropriately and the contractor put his foot through the newly finished knockdown ceiling, floor tile improperly laid, improper grouting (they had to reapply multiple times), electrical outlet and switch not installed level, they damaged the bathtub, the entire tile surround in shower was installed badly and waving. Not to mention the mess left outside, drywall compound/grout water being dumped in my backyard and damaged my siding/grass; and a piece of plywood in the front yard that was buried by snow during the project and killed my grass when found in spring. Due to this, I reached out to the GC about my complaints in March of 2025. The GC was shocked by the quality of the initial job and stated he would correct the mistakes. They finished corrections in January 2026. After the "corrections", the bathroom fan doesn't work and drips a lot of water when in use. The entire surround was replaced and still not done well, the tiles aren't aligned and in one spot i have a cut myself a few times from the tile jutting out. Not to mention, I purchased this tile for the contractors and didn't receive payment until the fix was complete months later. This was brought up during the second surround installation and the solution was to add more grout to the bottom of the jutting out tile. This grout has since deteriorated and it is sharp again. Grouting was done incorrectly and redone 3 times during the fix. Multiple attempts to patch the damage to the tub were done, damage still visible in 2 spots. They tiled over a water pipe that held the shower wand, so we had to wait for the GC to drill into the tile to reveal the pipe. The plumber came out to the drilling being incomplete and had to reschedule multiple times. To the plumber and I's dismay, this delayed the process. On the other side of the shower there is a closet with an access panel which has began to show increased signs of water intrusion at the top of the wall near the shower head. In the end, I was compensated for the tile I purchased + a little extra. (this did not cover the cost of tile plus interest due to delays). Plus a bathroom with improper tiling, a steam issue (to the point it has rusted the light fixture in the bathroom), and incredibly messy finishes (including towel racks falling out of wall). We wasted 20k dollars and will have to pay to have the bathroom remodeled, yet again. BEWARE, please think twice before using this company. I will not be recommending/referring them to any friends, family, or clients.

It was not functional; a large glass wall, making for an all-season room, cut off the space. Two oddly shaped islands were very dated, there was no functional microwave, and to make matters worse, the room had several "angles" to it, and a parquet floor just made the room busy. We met several contractors, but Dan quickly saw the problems with the room, and after I called past customers, I was sold. First, we wanted the work done in a short time frame during the holidays. He kept to his word and got the work done. He communicated with me on every choice; why we should make each change and what the options were. If I found something for less, but what we were thinking of doing, I bought it and he took it off his list. I could go on and on; I loved all his subcontractors. They were not just good at what they do, they were kind, respectful and friendly. Dan went out of his way to keep our cabinets intact so they could be donated to charity. Months later, when we had issues crop up, he came right over and addressed them. Good example? It is very cold here, so we knew there would be settling once we went through the winter. Dan came over, had his sheet rock and painters return, and it was done. No fuss. No charge. Before and after pictures speak for themselves. If you re lucky enough to have Dan work with you on your home, go for it.
