All workers there treat the patients with the upmost care. Our 2 weeks there were wonderful. Best PT & OT staff I've ever seen. Fast forward 12/30/25 my husband was moved there by Memorial Hospital after he was there for 2 weeks with GBS. We were there for 17 days. They worked with him & today he was able to come home. 2nd time he's had GBS in 34 years. Staff was incredible-especially Dr J & NP "Jay" OT & PT awesome 5 Star plus in every way. For the most part the care is good, though I wish they had more staff to make it even better. I go…read morethere a lot to see a family member and often feel sorry for the staff, who are yelled at, called names, treated like slaves, and overworked. I would not want their job for a million dollars! Old age is terrible and often comes with much pain and suffering. Many times I've witnessed a patient threatening them in one way or another, and that can't be good for their moral. One such patient suffered from what I believe was dementia, and often bit the nurses caring for her. I understand the poor soul had very bad back problems, and that's why she was lashing out. But often the staff have no help at the moment, and must get the patient from one place to the other, as quickly and painlessly, as possible. I send a prayer for the staff and patients to our Lord Jesus for happiness in their jobs, and a speedy recovery for their patients. I put 4 star not 5 because there's always room for improvement.

My dad was put here to recover after leaving the hospital for a bad flue and sepsis. I agree with…read moreall other reviewers, this place you come out worse. And they do keep patients 24/7 either in bed or in wheelchairs. They don't exercise them. My dad developed edema and cellulitis in his legs at the Rehab center. He never had it before, at all. They were infected, horribly swollen feet, calves were dark red, and it was creeping up to his thighs. They looked serious and really bad. When we finally pulled him out, first thing we did was take him to his regular Dr, and hospital to check his legs. They put him on different antibiotics and treated him at "home". They sent nurses 2x a week, and in a few weeks his legs looked much better, they are almost normal now, the swelling is completely gone, and the deep dark red (infection) is mostly faded away. The nurse said the constant sitting in a wheelchair contributes alot to Edema in the legs if you are already vulnerable to it; heart problems is the main culprit. She encouraged walking more, getting up more. My dad had 2 falls there too; which is why they kept him wheelchair bound after. Staying in these places is not going to prevent falls though; my dad was stubborn and would get up anyway. They are definitely not places for the elderly. Better off hiring help to come to your home. I'll never let my parents go to another Rehab hospital. If the main hospital dismisses them, they are ok and better off recovering at home. A person will heal better at home.

I called all day today trying to check on my grandmother and she had the worst attitude possible. Every phone call I made it was an attitude, she did not want to give me any chance to explain what I needed over the phone. All that she kept saying was unit number, unit number, unit number or I can not help you. Not letting me get any words out to even say what I needed or why I was calling. I finally decide to go down to the place and maybe I could get a different response... well I was so wrong! She would not let me get two words out without rolling her eyes and putting her greasy hair behind her ears. Oh and let's be clear.. I heard you tell that Latin lady that the bitch in the lobby was being rude! Thank goodness I know how to carry myself in situations like this one. Called security on me and told them I was being rude which was 100 percent untrue. Then told security not to let me in to see my grandmother, like excuse me? Who are you? Ever heard of customer service? Ever heard of asking questions before you bark at someone? Finally security tells her that she has to let me in.. big surprise right?! I find it really funny that security laughed at her when they came to talk to me because they remembered me from yesterday and know everything she said was untrue. Get a grip and learn to take your attitude out on someone else. I will be filing a formal complaint for the disrespect that this lady showed me today.
