I was looking for a shop that specializes in Coyote Engines. Eddie came recommended and I had the worst experience trying to spend money here. This place is a joke. After three calls and not getting a call back, I was told to email him. He email was short and generic. I'm not even sure he read it before replying. His reply to my second email was, " I don't have time to sit and answer questions on the phone while customers are paying for dyno time or tuning." I was looking to spend around $20k for a modified Coyote engine and was treated like a 16 year old tire kicker. It's embarrassing that they gave him a good review in the Hot Rod article. Took two weeks + a trip back, car left with major issues. *Overall: You're treated as if they're doing you a favor and not as a customer, Eddie just wants your cash and can careless about his actual work. *Details: I took my car to Eddie (the owner) on a Friday to be worked on the following Monday. I arrived on Friday by the time requested, he made me wait half an hour before acknowledging me. He requested I fill out a form and did not wish to talk to me about the car much. On Monday, he advised that I order a different camshaft. Camshaft arrived Wednesday, so car should had been ready by Friday. His responses were very short and dry when asking for updates (I can show emails as proof) but responses like, "Not ready" or "when its ready i'll email you." I continued to Uber, getting ride from co workers but anxious to get my car back. Thanksgiving came by and I emailed him asking if the car was ready, he did not respond until I was on the bus getting a ride home, in which he stated that they were at a race for two days so they were behind on schedule, here's where it gets interesting, i have carlock installed on my car, and the two days that they were supposedly at a race, I kept getting notifications both days (i can show my carlock history screenshot), notifications like "engine turned on, off" "vibration detected" "battery disconnected" so they were definitely working on my car, just not as devoted as they should had considering they were already late on my car. Thanksgiving day came and I had given up at that point, i'm not getting my car back, I was so angry and upset and he was never considerate of the situation. I get an email on black friday saying, your car is ready. I show up, no apologies, no explanations, just hands over the keys and tells me where my car is parked. I didn't expect better from his customer service at this point. I drive about a mile before entering the freeway and my engine light goes off, my O/D light starts blinking and the car starts jerking. I had to come back the next day and ask him to review the tune, I also requested for him to test drive it. When i asked about how the test drive went, he ignored my question and just talked about the tune and if i wanted my 02 sensors replaced. I asked a second time about the test drive and he said nothing. I drove the car home, mostly no problems. The next day the issues came back. I gave up on him and his business. I uploaded the bama tune i had requested as a backup and all the issues went away, literally. I'm so extremely disappointed and would not recommend you go to him at all. read more

This is the absolute worst place to take any car. First it took me months to get my part delivered. Then, I took my car to swap out a fuel Injection and when I went to pick it up, he didn't even turn my keys in to me and tell me "hey your car needs this other work done". Instead, his wife turned my keys into me and sent me in my way and when they saw my car battery was dead, one of the other mechanics came out and gave me a jump start. Then I ordered a set of breaks, I waited 3 months, grew tired of waiting because he kept saying they weren't delivered yet so I decided to cancel the order. This guys charged me $800 of "restocking fees" for a part that was never delivered to him. He charged me $800 to cancel an order? Find a different mechanic to take your car. This guy sucks. I booked my work far in advance and communicated with the staff to make sure the techs had all the parts they needed for a smooth install. I had another great experience at Addiction. Last year they installed gears (which I've had no problems with). This time I came back to get headers installed (CARB-legal, of course). I've had no problems whatsoever since and the car was delivered earlier than promised. I came back after 500 miles to have the bolts re-torqued (per spec) and Eddie took care of that with no fuss for free while I waited and he wouldn't even let me buy him lunch. I was recommended Eddie by a friend with a similar mustang. I had a tune on the car previously but it was too conservative for my taste. I went to eddie off the strength of a friend. It was like pulling teeth talking to this guy. He would never talk on the phone only emails that got old quick, but worked in my favor cause proof of our convo down the line when he tried to charge me for something else I didn't need and forgot another thing i did need. I immediately knew i was working with a block head. All in all it wasn't worth the 2 grand that i spent with him. Car didn't make the numbers that was promised to me based off the mods i had done by him. Couldnt figure out what size belt the car needed made noise on the dyno I even told him the belt was too tight. But Blamed it on another "issue" the car had. The tune i got was piss poor. Also like all other shade tree mechanics promised it would take four days to get done. But took weeks to get done. I could've done way better else where. I did a clutch job this past weekend on my 2010 GT500 and my dummy self accidentally crushed the o2 connection sensor from the main engine harness. I called Ford and obviously they didn't want to help me and called a few other places and have been looking online and I could not get the info I need. Low and behold my last ditch effort and I called these guys man what awesome customer service I explained my problem and he actually tried to tell me over the phone how to fix it but I still needed a wiring diagram for my car. He told me come in and I can print you one out. Of course I was there in 10 minutes and was out within another 10 with the proper info and paperwork I needed.
