I began speaking with Daniel at JMP, he was nice, courteous n helpful, he offered me a great price. I showed up today, I was a bit confused as to where it was at first, but immediately found it on Lap #2. Lol Along with my oil change they did a multipoint inspection and recommended a few other services that I will have done at a later time. The waiting room was CLEAN 10 out of 10, their restroom was SUPER CLEAN, and they even had coffee, tea, hot chocolate and choices along with cookies and snacks to choose from. I scheduled an appointment with JMP Autowerkz about a week in advance for a Tuesday morning , at 8:30am. This date/time was confirmed. I received an email confirming the appointment/time a day before the appointment. I took my Chevy Corvette in on the exact date/time of my appointment. The representative who scheduled my appointment Ismael Astorga was not there. The Mechanic that was scheduled to work on my car was not there. I was told they should be in later. Also, I was told to leave my Corvette which was in perfect, pristine and clean condition before I left. The only issue with my Corvette, was the repair that was needed. I never did hear from anyone that morning. I called back a couple of times, and finally was able to speak with Ismael. Ismael indicated that their mechanic was working on my car and he will get back to me regarding the issue, repair and cost. I never heard back from Ismael or anyone else. I called multiple times, unable to reach Ismael and left messages. This was very strange and frustrating for a company working on your car, not to call you or discuss the status of your car repair. Fast forward, it's almost 5:00pm and they close at 6:00pm. I called again and was placed on a long hold for some time, until Ismael finally picked up. I was told my car was not being worked on at the moment and that they will get to it the next day. I immediately said NO, after being completely disrespected all day by this company "JMP Autowerkz". When I dropped off my Corvette, it was cleanly washed, polished and shiny inside and out. When I picked up my Corvette it was dirty, dusty inside and out, my driver window was down. It had hand prints and dirt inside, outside, and dirt on the floor. My Corvette was treated as if it was in a junk yard. With any company, Customer Service, Care and Professionalism should be a priority... This is not the case with this company. I used them a while back and it worked out fine. This time was a complete disaster, disrespectful and very unprofessional. In my personal and professional opinion of this company, it's not a good or trustworthy automotive company, which is what people search hard to fine. I am in $4,491 and my check engine light has yet to stay off. The cam shaft, and turbocharger, superboost codes. I recently paid $651 which included a smoke test as well a Turbocharger/Supercharger Underboost Condition leak. Not even a week later the same code. I have been at this with them doing work on my car and I can't even enjoy the things that they have done successfully because of the back and forth with the check engine light. read more

Dishonest! I went in to get my clutch replaced (which I later learned I was overcharged), then paid for a diagnostic for my check engine light. They told me they inspected and cleaned the intake manifold but that didn't work and the whole thing needs to be replaced for $1200. I went home and me and my son watched YouTube, took out the valve and cleaned with wd40 put it back, check engine light off, and passed smog. I called them to tell them it felt dishonest and I wanted to give them a chance to respond, they simply said "OK". Needless to say, won't be back and do not recommend. read more

Found this place on yelp last year around Christmas and decided to give it a try due to the great reviews. My old e90 bmw was having a weird transmission issue (the car had gone into limp mode and then wouldn't go into gear) that my longtime mechanic of over 10 years couldn't diagnose or repair. Dropped off the car so they could diagnose the problem and later received a link with a full assessment of every issue they saw along with the estimated price requesting authorization to complete the work. They did a full transmission service that resolved the issue within their estimated timeframe of a couple days (right before Christmas too) and the car has been running great since. It's very clear these guys are experts on BMWs and I'd definitely bring my car here again. Customer service is friendly and prompt as well. This place is legit. read more

I'll start with the GOOD. They're professional and friendly. They performed a detailed inspection of my car and have a tech-savvy system to share quotes and photos of the car during inspection. Their inspection of the car was one of the best I've ever had (some photos and finding issues I didn't know about). However, after the inspection, everything else is BAD. The quote I received was ridiculously overpriced. The quote, with a 2 year warranty, was $3.4k. I ended up buying the parts needed myself at a third of the price they quoted and hiring another reputable mechanic (also 5-stars on Yelp and hundreds of reviews) with my total cost being $1k. Regardless of how good this company may be (reputation and quality wise per other reviews here), it should not be a 250% upcharge for this, especially since I was able to get another very reputable company to do the same job for less than a third of their price. I don't trust their quotes and won't be returning to them again. read more

Spoke to somebody who was very nice on the phone but this place told me that it would cost me $290 to replace my rear brake pad and rotors. Yes I have the electric parking brake but 290. I also stated that I already purchased the equipment so just the labor was 290. I don't know how this place has 4.9 stars I Went to a place up the street and got it done for $120. I don't like taking my e30 to any shop - I almost always would rather do it on my own. But when I can't figure it out - this is the only place I trust with my baby. I was having a vibration issue that turned out to be a loose flywheel - I couldn't figure it out but JMP got to the bottom of it in a few hours. Not only did they give me a fantastic price on a full clutch replacement (and flywheel retightening) - but also took care of some leaky seals they found along the way. As it was already a big job they were kind enough to include labor for the seals in the original quote. As if all that wasn't enough- these guys went truly above and beyond and even added extra washer shims to my engine mounts to prevent my engine from touching my steering rack. I didn't even ask. They just hooked me up. This is the kind of stuff that shows THEY CARE. If you're one of those people hesitant to take your car into a shop, but need a good one - look no further. For my first visit - I needed an alignment, was quoted for around 2-3 hours, but they got it done within 1.5 hours and charged me less than the initial quote. They took time (which most shops don't do) to do a full 4-wheel alignment on a car they don't typically work on (Tesla). Second visit - my car has issues drifting right (since way before my first visit with JMP) and I was looking for a further diagnosis. They re-checked alignment, confirmed it was still perfect, and ensured the peripheral suspension components were tight and not damaged. My issue is very unique (Tesla Service Center's were unable to diagnose) and they helped eliminate the large majority of where the issue could be stemming from. They didn't charge me for around an hour of work trying to diagnose the issues on my car, and significantly narrowed the list of potential issues. The only next steps would be to get internal components checked at/warrantied - since its confirmed to not be an apparent suspension/alignment issue. Great experience both times, and I recommend them for anyone who typically struggles to trust car shops in the area - the owner worked with me and demonstrated he was familiar with the technical aspects of what was happening - a refresher from my normal auto-shop experience. I would recommend them to all my car friends - but they were the ones that recommended I go here in the first place. Honest, knowledgable, and so-far consistent! read more
