I would not recommend this place to anyone. The service is terrible and completely impersonal. They keep you on hold for three hours, and they schedule appointments far in advance only to mark them as 'confirmed' without ever speaking to you. To make matters worse, they charge you a 'no-show' fee for an appointment you didn't personally confirm, and then the actual service only lasts five minutes. I have been treating with Dr. Richard Marques at Addison Mizner Medical as my Internal Medicine/PCP since November 2022. He has helped me so much with my diabetes, high cholesterol and weight issues. I've lost 30lbs, my A1C is 5.6 and my cholesterol is back to a normal range. Appointment are easy to make. He has walk-in appts too. His staff are so helpful and accommodating! The doctors here are fine but the office manager/billing team(?) are either very incompetent or deceitful (jury is out). They charged me for a visit that the insurance company told me I wasn't supposed to pay. Then it was impossible to reach the office manager and apparently she is the only one that can reverse the fee. Finally just filed a claimed with Florida regulators and did chargeback with my credit card. Avoid this place or at least triple check that you are being charged correctly. My fiance has been a patient for over a decade but recent experiences have led us to search for more adequate and responsible care. We have dealt with a lady who works there who is named Raquel. This woman is an absolute arrogant bully who has an utter disdain for patients who put there health in the hands of the clinic. The expectation coming from this office suggests that the patient is not deserving of answers and they are made to feel like there concerns will be addressed "when they decide to get to it". We have had more then a few conversations with Raquel who appears to have a "that's too bad, what are you gonna do about it" mentality. There is ZERO empathy or concern for the patient quality of care or well being. Wanted to make this my new main doctor. Definitely having some issues with the fact that the ladies at the front desk are extremely rude and the doctors, unprofessional. Dr.Marquez and his cousins toss their patients back and forth, so even when you think Marquez is your primary, they will switch without even letting you know. They have no sense of privacy while they announce results and answers in front of the whole office. My biggest concern, however, is the flirtyness from the two doctors who call their patients "baby" and "mami" and feel like it's okay to say "I told you, I always get the pretty ones". Constant comments on your appearance and rubbing on your back when they come into the room. These are the things that are keeping me from ever going back there. read more

Dr marques is absolutely amazing! His PA is also very good. They make a great team. They listen to your needs and are willing to explore options for treatments. I always make an appointment. If i am late or early im still a priority over the walk in cliental. I also appreciate that they always offer me free samples to try if i am changing a medication. It is nice. So many times i have half used prescriptions left over because i change right away due to a side effect. They are also very good about billing your insurance in a way to make it more affordable for the patient. All around love them here! Oh and the front desk and the nurse are super friendly and will help you out with whatever you may need. Note: there is a new nurse practitioner in the office and i can not provide any review of her, as i have never seen her. read more

They listen to you, they don't judge and if they tell that their advice is making you mad or uncomfortable they adjust how they deliver it or stop and approach you in a way for you to respond better. I have seen Dr. Marques twice. Both times was when my primary was out of town and I was very sick. I was able to be seen same day each time as an appointment. Wait time was reasonable and staff was nice. Dr. Marques was very nice and attentive. The clinic is a combination general practice and walk-in clinic. Addison Mizner Medical, LCC, Dr. Richard Marque is a walk in clinic that treats patients like a herd of sheep. I saw him 6 times between Sept. 8 and Sept.23, 2014 to ask why my MRI's were not approved yet. Francis obviously over worked told me he is over loaded with patients and I am on the bottom of the list and they need more help. This is negligence and cruel to leave someone in pain all this time because his office is over loaded! I was prescribed a drug someone with my genetic gene cannot take and became toxic, that they tested me for. I never got a call back telling Francis I needed to speak to the PA who prescribed this and I was ignored. I happen to have an appointment on Sept. 23 and saw the owner Dr. Marques. He got defensive instead of helping me in a reaction toxic state and out of control vital signs he states were normal. My records will confirm the facts unless he changes them. He told me to go to the ER because he did not want to face the truth that his office messed up. I never could get authorizations to see specialist. I was left in this state waiting in a room and the office advised him of my high vital signs. I finally had to inject myself with a shot since I told his office I needed help and was ignored. Francis tells me "you try finding someone that can do my job." No one should have to wait since Sept. 8 for tests and to see specialist. This office refused to help me and caused my health damage. I would stay far away from this walk in clinic. He has all his friends writing his reviews read his rating on other sites not good. I asked for my MRI's I have been waiting for 3 weeks and my approval for specialist this other doctor felt I needed. I was told the same thing they are busy. I called the one specialist Francis states she called and she gave them my incorrect information and they did take my insurance. She also bad mouthed me to this office and it got back to me. I left without what I went there for to begin with and now have to start the process all over with a new primary. Thanks Obama for doctor's like this that are getting patients in like herds of sheep to make ends meet and giving us less care. Another mistake they ordered my MRI with contrast knowing in my chart I am allergic tries to use this as his excuse for the delay. I told him the facts that his office caused this reaction and he threatened to call the police and have me thrown out in my medical state.Then he left early and had Francis hand me a DX of "Hypochondria" as I was leaving. What doctor acts like this! I was incorrectly told I had an acute Candia infection in my blood and another doctor told me they read by blood work incorrectly and I did not and was being over treated. I never got to see the doctor but I was disappointed with one of the receptionist . She was rude and she said " ObamaCare is bad" when I told her that I was told that I m only gonna have to pay $25 co-pay when I called on the phone to schedule an appointment and she wanted $145. DO NOT GO HERE! The PA has NO IDEA what she is doing. She prescribed me medication that would worsen my condition, not help it. When I voiced my concerns she did not seem to care. They try to push steroid packs on you there for anything and everything even if you dont need one. For those of you who dont know those lower your immune system and should not be taken on a regular basis. It seems as though the PA (Giles) needs to go back to medical school.
