Changed my life! This was probably the best ice cream I've ever had. I was on the hunt for soft serve and was initially disappointed that Addy Mac didn't have any, but the guy working really pushed me to try the Salted Vanilla. WOW. It was incredible. And I added a scoop of the peanut butter Oreo, which was also amazing. My husband preferred the roasted strawberry. So glad we were convinced to try it.

Delicious! We had a double scoop (made of two single scoops of) peanut butter Oreo and salted caramel. The ice cream was incredibly creamy and smooth. I was surprised to see that the Oreo flavor was not as tan as you'd usually find with peanut butter flavors, not a complaint just an observation. The ice cream was soft, which surprised me since it was scooped "hard" ice cream. Happened to find this place while we were at a brewery down the street, looking for something sweet near by on Yelp! The truck was located in a small area with many other trucks I wish we would have checked out. The gentleman that helped up was delightfully cheery and kind.

I cannot believe this only has 1 other review. I had the "Honey barley wine w/ bee pollen" ice cream, which was amazing in a fresh waffle cone (they also offer sugar cones and bowls). I also tried the"Sinistor black w/ brown butter pretzel", which was also fantastic. The owner makes all the ice cream by hand in 1 gallon batches. LOVE this place, and right by a good place for beer! Highly recommend.

What an awesome adventure! While taking a road-trip, my husband suggests we stop at DQ for ice cream.... um, no! I took a quick run thru the Yelp reviews to find this gem! We are so happy we did! A huge scoop of Salted Caramel paired with another of "back porch coffee" in a perfectly crispy waffle cone....I'm one happy camper! Definitely worth the trip.

Best peanut butter ice cream I've ever had! They only had four flavors but they were all amazing and the waffle cone was so good.

Perfect! Not super sweet, interesting flavors and they make their own waffle cones. Best ice cream I have had in a long time.

They keep things simple, offering just a handful of berry flavors made by blending creamy vanilla ice cream with real fruit instead of dozens of flavor options. We ordered the blueberry with the dairy vanilla base and the marionberry with the coconut-based vegan ice cream. I had the marionberry, and I was honestly blown away. It was incredibly creamy, packed with fresh berry flavor, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. My husband and my dad were just as impressed, and we all regretted ordering the small size because it was that good. One thing that really stood out was how thoughtful they were with the vegan option. They thoroughly cleaned the machine before making my coconut-based ice cream, which I really appreciated. It's a small detail that says a lot about how much they care. The person running the cart was very friendly and patient. If you're looking for a shop with 30+ flavors, this isn't it. They focus on doing a few flavors exceptionally well, and it absolutely pays off. We haven't stopped talking about this ice cream since our visit, and it's easily one of our favorite spots in Bend. We'll definitely be back!

Ended up with two scoops in a cup--Ultraviolet (yep, that crazy purple one) and Salted Caramel. Price was $8.50, which is definitely on the higher side (especially when I know the same size goes for $7.50 in LA or even Yellowstone). Still, I can't complain--the flavors hit hard. Ultraviolet tasted like summer in a spoon--sweet, floral, slightly exotic. The salted caramel balanced it out with that creamy richness and just enough salty kick to keep it from being overly sweet. Together? Perfection. Service matters too. The girl at the counter was super sweet, quick, and clearly knew her stuff. That's the kind of energy you remember. There was also a guy behind the counter who looked like he could've helped earlier, but instead wandered a bit before starting a milkshake. Maybe that wasn't his role--but it stood out. The place itself? Classic Ben & Jerry's vibe--bright, fun, colorful. Outside seating with turquoise chairs gave me that relaxed, summer-night-in-town feel. Perfect spot to slow down and people-watch. So yeah, it's pricier than some spots, but when the ice cream is that good and the service leaves you smiling, it's 5 stars. I'd come back just for that Ultraviolet scoop.

Between the exceptionally good food at Hook and Plow, a most pleasant hotel experience, and a memorable trip to the High Desert Museum; our trip to Bend turned out to be a pleasure instead of the miserableness I expected. This was more than enough for the three of us and we left full, happy, and with three large to-go boxes. The flavors of the various dishes were amazing.
